Outstanding 10. For a fantasy game, everything is just so realistic, the game manages to explain everything that'd look unrealistic why it's possible, that's how I like my games. Soundtrack is just awesome!

I haven't played the game so I rated it a 1 or a 10 depending on how outraged or not the majority of people are about some aspect of it.

Wanted to get into it, but I can’t get into the story.

First wanna start with P5 though, since I heard that's better for beginners.

I wish it allows button remapping and may be slightly more polished graphics/environment in dungeon.

Other than these minor issues, I really can't think of any complaint.

I will let you know in two years when the inevitable better version comes out.

I've not beaten it yet, so I'm not gonna rate it just yet, but if I had to put a score on what I've played so far (up to the fourth town/big dungeon, haven't done much there yet) it's probably a 9 tho.

Takes all the good stuff from persona and gets rid of all the things I dislike about that series with a HEALTHY portion of SMT in the sense that the game will punch you in the lower regions, repeatedly, if you don't pay attention to what it tells and teaches you.

Basically fixed all my issues with persona. Story is way more interesting, dungeons are better designed, and every character so far has been fantastic. Honestly a 10 for me. This is this year's Baldur's Gate 3 in my opinion.

For me is a 6, story ok, gameplay ok, it happens at times that i am in between dialogues for an hour or so before starting a fight which is really time consuming, battles can be unfair at times. It has same mechanics from persona. Not for me unfortunately. Music is the best part of the game.

Can't rate it, since I don't have it. With so many incredible game releases right now, some games have to be marked for a later time to buy.
But I definitely want to get Metaphor at some point, it looks so appealing.

Easy 10. There's nothing I don't like about it, they've now perfected the gameplay and aesthetics to such an incredible degree.

Haven't finished it jusy yet, easily a 9 for me so far. Only detracting part is the stiff/clean/floaty graphics imo.

I would go 8.5. Its missing the flair and style that Persona 5 had and personally think character designs no bad but again weaker than Persona 5 greatness.
Might play in spurts over time and maybe throw in a second game while playing it 15 hrs in

I'd give it a 9 so far. This game keeps you on your toes with the combat. The gameplay is quite strong for a JRPG. Presentation and soundtrack is excellent also. And finally the story and characters are engaging.

This is Atlus at their best, and when Atlus is at their best, it's the very best the industry has to offer. Easy 10.

You're asking a little too early.

Based on the 10 hour demo, I'd give it an 8. I felt compelled to keep playing, even though I thought I'd quit a few times. I did feel like I was struggling to latch on to the characters and overall point of the story, but I do want to play the full game eventually.

How has anyone had enough time to play enough of this game to score it?

Seriously I'm still deciding if it is time to start Red Dead Remption or Alan wake (the first one in both cases to be clear...)

I'm super slowly meandering through it and only got past the dungeon from the tutorial and wandering around town. Haven't had the big "sit and play for hours" sessions I thought I would, but it's just fantastic all the way around. I didn't have extreme hopes for it, but it's really just that good so far. Punishing, that's the SMT way, but so good.

When something extraordinary and rare like Neva gets a 9,5 (which it deserves) something like this gets a 4 or 5

I have to play deeper into it to really know what score I'd give it, but a 10 isn't out of the question. It addresses the significant difficulty balancing issues Persona 5 had while retaining almost all of its strengths.

Very much a top GOTY contender for me.

I’m not very far in the game so my opinion could change, but from what I’ve played so far I’d rank it a 10/10. I love everything about this game - the fantasy story, OST, characters, combat, and the pacing. Everything is top tier stuff, and with the story moving along fairly fast, I’m curious to see how the story unfolds considering I’m only 8 hours in and a ton of stuff has happened.

It's a 9/10 so far from me, the only negative is the graphics.

40 hours in, I am liking it so far but I wish it was a greater departure from the persona formula and it is really, really…really technically underwhelming- I think beautiful visuals really are part of the magical videogame equation. The archetype system is so much better than fixed personas for your party members. Solid 7,5.
Edit: wait, the OST is genious, let’s make it a solid 8.

I can't say I am enjoying it much from the demo, don't really like the character designs, characters, the world, or even its music. It will be a skip for me until Persona 6
