The madness of October is over, and we're all full of Halloween treats, but the march of new releases is never done. We're now in the final two months of 2021, and while the sheer volume of new games is slowing down, we're still due a few of the year's biggest. November is particularly packed, mostly with notable first-person shooters, but there's plenty of other titles to get excited about. Let's take a look at what's in store for PlayStation 5 and PS4 in November and December.

Call of Duty: Vanguard - 5th November
This holiday season is packed with big first-person shooters, and that of course includes this year's Call of Duty. This time, we're going back to World War II, with a campaign that follows the stories of the first group of special forces soldiers. A cinematic story combined with all the multiplayer you know and love should make for yet another top notch shooter.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition - 11th November
Fus-ro-what? Another version of Skyrim? Yes, to celebrate the legendary RPG's 10th anniversary, Bethesda is releasing the aptly named Anniversary Edition on PS5. This latest version boasts a modest visual facelift and comes packaged with some extra content, adding fishing and over 500 Creation Club elements — or mods to you and us. It'll be a free upgrade if you own the PS4 Special Edition, which is nice.
Battlefield 2042 - 19th November
Another big FPS coming to PS5 and PS4 is Battlefield 2042. Taking the action to a near-future setting, this is a multiplayer-only game with an emphasis on large scale firefights. While all the classic Battlefield modes are included, this entry also includes Battlefield Portal, allowing players to create their own maps and modes and share them with the community, and Hazard Zone, an intense co-op mode. This one looks jam-packed with interesting ways to play.

The Binding of Isaac Repentance is releasing on November 4th digitally for PS4 and PS5
There’s an adventure game based on Mozart releasing? Sign me up.
A music game would have also been cool. Anyone remember that PS2 era conducting rhythm game Mad Maestro? I could go for some more of that.
What an empty end of the year for me!
Except Solar Ash (and even then, we'll have to wait how it ends up), I see nothing that could even make me consider buying it outside of a deep deep sale.
I hope others fınds something more to their taste...
Skyrim? I love the game but its becoming the new gta...how many iterations of the same game do we have to endure? I cant wait for battlefield..
Deaths Door is definitely my next purchase. Interested in that Radiohead game that supposedly comes out in November but we know nothing about it. Then Solar Ash for sure as well. But as for the big hitters, nothing for me personally.
Battlefield and Death’s Door are preordered. Yes, I will upgrade my copy of Skyrim too. Cool that the Ninja Saviors is getting a physical copy. Hoping Solar Ash is December’s PS+ game. Honestly like how the year is ending with games. November and December will give me time to clear up my backlog completely.
You’ve totally left out the GTA Trilogy remaster.
None. Except for picking up a cheap 2nd hand copy of Skyrim special edition and copping the free Ps5 upgrade. Haven’t played that game for many years now so
Kena physical release is the only champion.word up son
Crap forgot to pick up Skyrim special when it was on sale for like 15€
Finally, Endwalker is almost there! That will occupy me most of the time until February.
Solar Ash is probably my only new game on PlaysStation for the rest of the year. On Switch In definitely getting Shin Megami Tensei V.
Huge month for me:
Farming Sim, Evil Genius 2, Jurassic World 2 and possibly Battlefield if it doesn't come out as garbage.
@Angelus3K i'd rather scrape my open corneas with a metal cheese grater...
the reshashing of GTA games is just perposterous, its almost is like ummm they don't even care of moving or shifting to a new GTA game or even offering any DLC story expansions... soo troll...
Battlefield lost me at non binary
@MakersMark The point is though that an article about upcoming games doesn’t list the remaster of 3 of the most important games in history. Personally I think they’ve done a fantastic job on the remaster and can’t wait to play it. Also I don’t believe the remaster has anything to do with lack of content for GTA 5 or lack of release for GTA 6 as it’s done by a separate internal team.
Normal game company has a hit game, they concentrate on DLC and a sequel.
Rockstar develops GTA5, releases an online version then a crapload of additional content, then divides its workforce to keep the game going with micro transactions. Then they spend time to rehash the older library of games and keep paying streamers to keep playing the online game.
Just pre-ordered Death's Door and looking forward to it.
I'll wait for reviews on Battlefield and COD though.
No games in November or December that I plan to buy day one, will just wait for 50% off sales or cheaper.
@Angelus3K there was a poll done on a streamers channel and rockstars re hashing of gta5 across several consoles and the excitement factor for the trilogy. It mostly was negative, true there were not gamers even born when some of the games in the trilogy came out. Most stated “ remaster gta4!” Which was a stellar model game in the timeline , but they opted to go for a “ no energy , no expansive trilogy “ which could have been built upon. The modding community has kept the soul of gta alive, it hasn’t been rockstar for sure. It’s a lazy company with no interest in placating the fans who have been loyal for decades..I’ve played all three, do I want to relive them again? No, especially with no added content which they could have easily added in with the billions of dollars the company has. I’m happy you will get to play the trilogy, but MOST gta fans are not really happy….
The GTA trilogy remaster doesn't warrant inclusion?
this is pretty sad imo
They think so highly of their Smurfs game that they release a collectors edition. Lol
