We still don’t know much about PlayStation Vita spin-off Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified. Other than the brief blurb provided by retail websites last week, the game still remains very much a mystery. It turns out that Treyarch – the developer behind Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on PS3 – is as much in the dark as we are.
When asked who’s working on the handheld title by VideoGamer.com, Treyarch’s John Rafacz explained bluntly, “I don’t know.” Erm.
"With regards to the Vita, all I can tell you is that it's quite literally declassified,” he continued. We think he means “classified” there, but you get the idea.
Rafacz may simply be bound by numerous contracts ensuring his secrecy, but if Treyarch really doesn’t know who’s developing the handheld title then that sets alarm bells ringing for us. The game’s supposed to tie directly into the fiction of the Black Ops universe – how can the title possibly pull that off without involvement from the franchise’s original developer?

Activision itself probably doesn't know who's developing call of duty vita; seeing as how every single dev house they have is working on call of duty games!
