With just four days left to go on Kickstarter, Ys Net has recovered Shenmue III's official website from beneath the Hazuki clan's cherry tree. The site, which is crudely put together, includes some early gameplay footage from the foray – complete with some expectedly awful voice acting – as well as a brief overview of the franchise's fiction so far, and various news and interviews.
While the page doesn't contain an enormous amount of information right now, we expect that it will evolve once the developer has more to show. There is a slot for a new trailer, however, which Yu Suzuki alluded to on Twitter earlier in the week. The project's currently sitting at $4.7 million, so we're excited to see what the studio has in store for the final few days of the crowd funding campaign.

We're getting Chinese rural Dobuita, maybe a chance of Dobuita x2. I think it'll do well anyway, at least enough to keep interest to keep churning out a new chapter or two every few 2/3 years.
Would people mind that much if the rest of the saga played out in an episodic format with gameplay similar to a Telltale game, just with more focus on exploration as well? Telltale seem to get by on a pretty low budget, yet also have great voice acting and some very desirable licenses.
