Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has only been available for a matter of days, but the game's already been updated a handful of times. Available right now is v1.03, which includes a slew of updates to the single player and multiplayer. The offline upgrades include a fix for campaign crashes and a solution to some particle sync issues.
The multiplayer tweaks, however, go much deeper, solving a whole slew of minor issues across all of the game's multiplayer modes. You can find the full list of patch notes through here, with Naughty Dog promising that it will continue working on the online component for the forseeable future. I glitched through a mountain in Scotland and got stuck climbing on the inside of the mountain. It was weird.
The multiplayer still mostly feels like a chaotic mess. There's no real balance at all, blindfiring appears to be more effective than actually aiming.
@Neurotic_Biotic I am glad I am not the only one who thinks the mp us a mess! They need to limit the amount of buddies on screen at one. I had three brutes in one area!
Been too busy playing the campaign to have a go on the multiplayer hopefully by the time I get around to it the crinkles will be ironed out
Multiplayer is great but there's definitely issues. It's much more polished than the offerings in 2 and 3.
@Neurotic_Biotic it only feels like a "chaotic mess" if you dont what you're doing. Aiming down sights is also way more effective than blinfiring. Get gud.
@ZeD how can you even die from a brute? They are slow and braindead. Take cover.
@Bazza78 even when you know what you're doing there's no real strategy, everyone separates because there are no communications aside from mics, no way to balance your team without seeing each other's loadouts, and you should not be able to summon more than one support per person at a time. I don't know why they have a 2 year plan, this will be forgotten about in a couple weeks but hey
I haven't played the multiplayer yet. I just beat the campaign and it was glorious.
The last time I really dived into Uncharted's multiplayer was the second game. Something felt off in the three's multiplayer that I didn't play it very much.
