There's not too much going on in the latest Japanese hardware and software charts, but it's nice to see both the PlayStation 4 and Vita ticking along rather nicely. Sony's current-gen console has enjoyed a relatively healthy run of late, and it's sold another 78,927 units last week. Given that the PS4 averaged around 20-30,000 units per week for most of 2016, things are really looking up for the system if it can maintain this kind of momentum.
Meanwhile, on the software side of things, Final Fantasy XV is still sitting in the top ten, and it's edging closer and closer to that hallowed one million mark.

I am almost sure Tabata & C will have some surprise in store for the 1 million mark, hope they reach it anyway!
Is the PS4 Pro still having inventory issues in Japan? If not, then I wonder if it is selling up to expectations.
3DS and PS4 are neck and neck. Less than 2,000 away from each other, 3DS on top.
Those two platforms alone account for 5X as many sales as all the rest... combined
On the bright side, it shows consoles can still survive in Japan. Which is good for us because that means more console games from Japanese devs.
