Emma Stone is rumoured to be one of the characters in Hideo Kojima's upcoming Death Stranding – you can read the original report here if you want to know more. This weekend, however, an image has been doing the rounds purporting to show the award-winning actress' in-game character model.

The picture ultimately checks every "fake rumour" box there is: it's grainy, it's off-screen, it uses the exact same make-up texture as Mads Mikkelsen's character, there's no reputable source, it's getting shared around social media, and so on and so on. Personally, we still believe there's a good chance that she'll be in the game – but this isn't proof by any stretch.

Maybe hold your horses until E3 2017, eh?
