Brawlhalla, a free-to-play Smash Bros.-like fighter that's coming to PlayStation 4 at some point later this year, will have cross-play functionality with the PC version of the release, developer Blue Mammoth Games has announced. That means PS4 players will be able to go online with PC players and vice-versa.
Cross-play is a relatively rare sight these days, so it's nice to see. Brawlhalla itself is supposed to be quite good fun, and if you're interested, then you may like to know that closed beta sign-ups are still being accepted. You can put your name down for it through here.

This games pretty cool. They sent me a beta code a while back and I got to play it early. I'm not much of a smash bro myself, but I gotta admit this game is fun and pretty easy to pick up and play. I actually won a few matches online, and first place which literally never happens for me with these types of games lol PlayStation Allstars I'm looking at you. Definitely digging the fact they're actually supporting cross play.
