With the new releases slowing down, we're back to a fairly predictable UK chart this week. In at No.1 is FIFA 18, where it has stayed for three weeks running. Grand Theft Auto V and Call of Duty: WWII retain their positions in second and third respectively, while Monster Hunter: World slips down to fifth.
Shadow of the Colossus seems to be running low on grip as it just clings onto the top 10. Metal Gear Survive didn't survive for long in the top 10, however, moving down from No.6 to No.17. This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise following the uproar surrounding the game's microtransactions, among other things.
Here's the latest top 10.

- Call of Duty: WWII

Monster Hunter World in top 5 plus Shadow of the Colossus in there nice.
So happy for Shadow of the Colossus. One of the best games ever made really deserves great sales.
@Neolit I dont understand it either? Who does not have the game besides me who hates GTA.
Sotc remain in the top is really great, I didn't think this type of 6-10 hours single player games can successful anymore, with no open world or multiplayer element.
@Neolit People bought new ps4 with grand theft auto 5.
It's an exceptional game, but it continues to baffle me how many copies GTA V is selling. Is there anywhere that says how many copies have been sold in a week?
It constantly being in the top 10 (if not 2 or 3) seems to suggest that in general people aren't buying many games outside of the blockbuster releases.
@Neolit
I don't have GTA5 on any format but I will definitely get one. A heavy backlog and relatively high price have prevented this. I was prepared to buy it today with my birthday cash, but the price of physical copy in local Gamestop was 50 euros and a supermarket stocking some popular games didn't have any copies for PS4. They'd sneakily put a PC-copy in PS4 best sellers slot.
All anecdotal, I know. But I am pretty sure there is plenty of us still waiting for the right moment.
GTA's slacking a bit...
