Those lunatics over in Japan have done it again, crafting a suitably mental video advertising the PlayStation 4's current games lineup. As with past campaigns, this latest insanity features actor and singer Takayuki Yamada, only this time, he's taken on a digital form.
The video actually starts off quite normal, but as it goes on, Yamada's software starts buggering up and it just gets more and more ridiculous from there. Well worth a watch.
Oh, and the games don't look too bad either.

This is incredible.
Crazy. I have a headache and I think I need a nap after watching that. Maybe it’s because the only thing I understood from the whole video was “Motion Capture”
Worth pointing out that this has English subtitles if you turn them on. Doesn't make it any less mad, but gives it some context. Kind of.
@Th3solution i know right i have a headache watching that.sheesh that was weird.word up son
So is Takayuki Yamada the PS4 remaster of the PS1 era's Polygon Man mascot?
Yep, old-school PlayStation gamer here
I'm almost dissapointed at any time we got Mugatu with "obey my dog"
"Oh, and the games don't look too bad either."
Well, all except New Gundam Breaker which was thankfully showns very briefly.
So why does he speak mostly Japanese, but then says some things in English? I've noticed this in other Japanese videos I've watched, just wondering.
What did i just watch 😂 absolutely amazing.
This ad confirmed what we already know: Japan is the best place on earth!
Yet you all think PS5 is round the corner... ay ay ay
I loved it. Ads here are too safe. This is whacky but still enticing. I rate it. 10/10
Absolutely bonkers, and totally brilliant 😆
Japan has great ads love them.
@ellsworth004 Jason thinks English is cool. They often have English words scattered across their songs.
@NomNom Agreed always love japan's wacky ads XD.
Wow, didn't know Takayuki Yamada was a singer as well.lol
