Onrush Director Joins Project CARS Dev Slightly Mad Studios

Following a bout of layoffs at the Codemasters studio responsible for Onrush, the ill-fated game's director, Paul Rustchynsky, has revealed where he's heading next. In short, he's sticking to what he knows, as he begins work on a new game at Slightly Mad Studios, the team behind the Project CARS series.

Rustchynsky was game director on DriveClub as well as Onrush, and of course worked on the MotorStorm series at Evolution Studios. It's not made clear whether the new Slightly Mad game will be a racer, but it's almost a certainty given his and the studio's history. After working on such an arcade-like experience, will his new game be more grounded? We'll have to wait and see.
