Three people wait for a good PlayStation 4 snooker game, and then two come along at once. Meanwhile, we’re still waiting for a decent tennis title, but we’re not bitter or anything. Anyway, hot on the heels of Snooker 19’s release date announcement, Birmingham-based developer VooFoo has announced This Is Snooker – complete with endorsement from Stephen Hendry.
The former World Number One will appear as a mentor throughout the campaign, giving you tips to help you make the most of your time at the baize. You’ll also be able to play through a number of scenarios, recreating some of Hendry’s most famous matches. He’ll be accompanied by referee Michaela Tabb, who’s done some voice work for the game.
Perhaps most interestingly of all, This Is Snooker will be sold as part of a bundle also including the previously announced This Is Pool – although you will be able to buy them separately if you prefer. “Play every major type of cue sport in six painstakingly-detailed locations with full pool and snooker career modes, mini games, trick shots, and extensive local and online multiplayer,” reads the blurb.
Both titles are “coming soon”, apparently.

Played This Is Pool at EGX - same people that brought us Hustle Kings - it was pretty good, but with Hustle Kings still with such a sizeable active player base I think TIP is a little premature.
VR support or no buy.
Seeing as you mentioned tennis - I would love Top Spin 5.
@Dange They made Hustle Kings VR, a better version of Sports Bar pool VR so I'd imagine VR support will come a later on
I'll pass on this. I've already got Hustle Kings and Pure Pool from the same people, so this seems... redundant.
@BearsEatBeets Wouldn't we all.
We're still waiting for ANY boxing title as well fwiw!
@Paranoimia Pure pool is way too hard, especially with no speed up button when the AI is in play.
Give me a speed up button and we are in business.
Top Spin in VR now id get that day 1 nqa
