If you have a fear of heights, look away right now. Richie's Plank Experience is a title coming to PlayStation VR that simulates the experience of walking the plank at a great height atop an office building. Check out the announcement trailer above, it's something that needs to be seen to be believed.
Originally released on PC for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, the game does exactly what it says on the tin. Will you maintain balance or fall to your death? Thankfully, there is a bit more to the game than this one gimmick. A handful of bonus modes will have you flying about the city, completing courses and putting out fires on rooftops. There's even an option to play the Santa Simulator that lets you drop presents into chimneys from Santa's sleigh.
The game currently retails for £11.39 on Steam, so expect a similar price once it hits PS4. Do you dare to walk the plank? Brush off your fears in the comments below.

I think it's exactly for people scared of heights. Makes it exciting.
It’s been on PSVR since December last year. It’s £10. They recently updated it to include more modes.
I'm curious who this guy Richie is.
This was released for PSVR in December. The developers themselves describe this an an experience (to be rolled out at parties / with guests) rather than a fully-fledged game - hence the price (and perhaps explains the mediocre review scores on PS Store). Just so peeps know what they're getting into before splashing the cash.
I used to fear falling in the first Mirror's Edge. The impact noise when hitting the ground was horrible. Brrrr.
I'm scared of heights and want to play this game. Should I buy psvr now or wait for the inevitable version 2?
@EVIL-C He used to sell salads, but after his dog moved to Peru he sold the business and wrote a book called "Salamander's Can Drive Too", it was about a talking lathe, that could peel melted cheese from the edge of ashtrays. After that, he moved back to his first love. Planks. The rest is history.
Don't forget to push the 6 button three times.
@Cutmastavictory No word on when PSVR 2 will be coming out. But they have stated that PSVR will be compatible with PS5 so you won't have any issues there.
@Zanao yeah I know it will be compatible, but I also don't want to buy one and then a year from now a better version comes out lol. Im always apprehensive like this. Fun story...its because of the original x box lol.
