This has to be the Demon's Souls remake, right!? Buried near the bottom of Wired's latest unveiling of Sony's PlayStation 5, Bluepoint Games is quoted saying that it has a "big game" planned for the console.
The masters of the remake have become synonymous with putting out quality re-releases of past classics, and it looks like we'll be getting one more on the next-gen PS5. In an interview with Wired, Bluepoint Games president Marco Thrush said: "We're working on a big one right now. I'll let you figure out the rest."
Rumours of a Demon's Souls remake have been circling for a couple of years now, and if what we've heard in the past is true, then it looks like we'll get that incredible experience all over again on the PlayStation 5. It's by no means confirmed, but this just has to be Demon's Souls.

Demon Souls is a pretty smart move for Sony. Another exlusive that not that many people could play, again tied to PS brand to get people buying day one when the servers will be at their fullest.
It is that or a Knack 1 remaster.

My personal opinion , I think the ship has sailed for this alleged remake/remaster. At least for me I don't care anymore . But I would love a Legend of Dragoon remake as another user has said .
Not gonna lie, I couldn't really care less about a Demon Souls remake and it's not a game that is going to sell the PS5 to me

Fan outrage imminent when it's revealed to be an ICO remaster haha I too hope Demons Souls gets to shine again.
No saying Demon Souls is a bad game, but that would be pretty disappointing if them saying their working on a big game for the PS5 and it turns out to be that.

It won’t be enough to get me to upgrade sooner since I still have a PS3 with this game, but there are definitely some who will. A stronger stable of exclusives is only a positive.
Demon’s Souls still makes the most sense, mainly for all those who missed out on getting a PS3 and having the chance to play it.
I wish Sony would snatch up Bluepoint already. Their remakes/remasters match the quality that is to be expected from a Sony studio.
I wish they would stop teasing us and just announce whatever game they are making. I have a feeling we won't find out until the Feb event. Personally I hope it is Demon Souls or Metal Gear Solid 4, as those are the only ones in the series I've not played.

I hope it's something else. Souls games have passionate but kinda limited fanbase, not everyone is into that style. Personally I hope for a deeper cut, something we haven't seen in forever. Skies of Arcadia anyone? Something out of left field like that.

@leucocyte Same. I'm all for a Remastered Demon's Souls, but that wouldn't be really surprising. Whatever it is, I'm just hoping it's something I don't expect.

.. I reckon it's a "Lair" remake - using only the new dual-shock tilt / rumble feature to control the dragon... (yeah, I bought that too at the time.. they patched it fortunately). Either that or Tony Hawk: Ride (peripheral-tastic)
And Skies of Arcadia doesn't have a limited fanbase at all @tato ?
Demon's souls sold 2 million copies on PS3 alone and Bloodborne on PS4 has sold higher at 3 going on 4 million or so. If that's a small fanbase then I don't know what is.
Not to mention Bluepoint are rather chummy with Sony and If I'm remembering an article I read correctly the developers for Skies have no desire to even do a slight graphics bump remaster of that game... soooo... There's a better chance of hell freezing over unfortunately
I'd love a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 but you seem to confuse Konami with a company that gives a damn about anything other then it's fitness clubs anymore @DarthAmmii .
Plus as I said above to tato, Bluepoint seem incredibly chummy with Sony so unless Sony has miraculously bought the Metal Gear Solid rights I wouldn't get your hopes up!
