Update: Rockstar has released a new teaser trailer for its upcoming major GTA Online update which is due out in December. Fans think they've already spotted a new island, which will expand upon Los Santos' map.
We're looking forward to learning more.
Original Story: GTA Online is going hard with its weekly updates, as it attempts to lure fans back from the gloss of their new consoles, ahead of its long-awaited December update. Rockstar has been teasing its latest Heists experience for some time, promising the game’s “biggest ever” content drop. And while we wait to see what that entails, the firm has promised more information is coming soon.
In fact, because the community collectively completed last week’s Heist Challenge, you’ll all get a brand new vehicle for free when the December update drops. Rockstar is actually going a bit mad this week, offering Triple Rewards in Land Races and A Superyacht Life missions, as well as Double Rewards in Gerald’s Last Play Missions, the Diamond Adversary Series, and Running Back Remix.
If you logged in last week, you’ll also earn a cool GTA$1 million just for playing over the next seven days, and you’ll get a free Blue Dot Tech Mask for winning a Business Battle event this week. Meanwhile, the Överflöd Autarch is up for grabs as part of the Lucky Wheel promotion at the Diamond Casino & Resort.

GTAO is crazy fun but like all online or live service games, they need all your time, attention and dedication, which is hard to give. It's like "don't play any other game except me!". All the same it's only GTAO and RDO I usually give online time.
John Doe.....where have I heard that before?
Im so ready for GTA6.
That's a teaser rather than a trailer lol
Yawn! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
@TheArt Yeah, the sad reality is that there's just not enough time to follow all of these service games. You have to pick and choose your favourites.
I spent many years in GTA Online and had some great times but in my ageing years I much prefer the tranquil life of a cowboy in Red Dead Online.
@get2sammyb Yeah, with all these 30hr+ superfun SP games, it's hard making time for online especially when you're going to spend half the time waiting in lobbies.
I had a lot of fun playing GTA Online but overtime I got tired of it so I deleted it and even RDR2 I deleted as well. Confusing thing about RDR2 and gta v is that I don't feel like I want to do the story over again(Although I've done it a second time when I bought GTA V on ps4). I dunno what holds me back from wanting to do another playthrough.
The coordinates on the visual at 3 seconds come back as west virginia
I thought that Rockstar and Playstation were doing something special with Grand theft Auto v online where would be free to play for PS plus members but since that announcement I haven't seen or heard anything about it.
@JoshuaTChandler yeah I was thinking the same. I was sure they said GTAV would be free for ps+ users on PS5. Did Rockstar just back out and hope that nobody would remember?
GTA Online was a superb place to waste away the Hours. Especially with friends. Sadly they ruined it for me as soon as they introduced the flying cars. That broke the enjoyable realism component for me. If I wanted Saint's Row, I'd just play Saint's Row.
@Old-Red That's what I was thinking too so I went and looked it up. https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/grand-theft-auto-v/#:~:text=Rockstar%20Games'%20Grand%20Theft%20Auto,the%20game's%20launch%20in%202021.
GTA 5 will have a next gen version available in 2021, and for 3 months PS5 owners will get to add the online standalone to their library for free. This article, unlike others, makes it clear that PS5 owners will keep the online standalone. You have to scroll down to the "Coming to PS5" section.
