Update: As promised, WRC 10 has been officially announced with a flashy reveal trailer. As you can see, the game will feature all the cars and courses from the 2021 season, as well as a larger focus on historic vehicles and events. This is to help celebrate the motorsport's 50th anniversary. It's coming to both PlayStation 5 and PS4 on 2nd September 2021.
Original Story: It shouldn't come as much of a shock to anybody, but publisher Nacon and developer KT Racing are working on the next instalment in the WRC series. These officially licensed rally racing games have been steadily getting better; WRC 9 is a seriously good rally sim, and it's especially good on PS5, where it makes fantastic use of the DualSense controller's capabilities. Hopefully the team carries forward this success with WRC 10.
This new game is set to be officially revealed later today with its debut trailer. This news comes from a recent social post:
Elsewhere, Nacon has also confirmed news of its other racing games are incoming over the next 10 days — that includes Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown. We're looking forward to seeing these racers in action over the next week or so.

So you make an article about a teaser for an official announcement which will follow later this day?
@Max_the_German What is the problem with that? It is an article informing users of the time the World Premier Trailer is going to be aired. For people who like this franchise that is newsworthy.
Is this next generation exclusive or still tied to cross gen?
@thefourfoldroot Guess we'll find out at 3pm CET
YAY! Definitely day one on this.
More driving games, MORE!
Glad I held off picking up WRC9 - I've read the haptics are great but it still looks a little last-gen to me. Fingers crossed this will be a full-fat PS5 experience (though I somehow doubt it).
Enjoyed wrc9, but will probably wait a bit for this one as they do seem to go on sale pretty quickly. I also bought dirt for ps5 and was pretty disappointed with it tbh, much preferred wrc 9.
Updated!
Wow cross generation even as late as September? I thought for sure games will Ps5 only by then. Anyways great i'm really enjoying WRC 9 and i will be sure to grab WRC 10
Wrc 9 is by far the best Rally game on PS5. Dirt 5 was a disappointment for me, and I don't even like simulation that much cause I suck at it, so I should prefer Dirt's arcadey style. But everything in WRC is vastly superior, starting by the dualsense support.
Nice!! WRC 9 was my first experience in the franchise and now I’m hooked
PS5’s haptics, audio, and graphics/performance are stellar and should only get better in 2021
WRC 9 was great, got it in the sale there. Now playing through WRC 8 on PS now. WRC 5 is also on PS now, but there's a few online trophies. So don't think I'll be able to plat it. 🙁
WRC 9 was superb on PS5 for me... will pick this up as soon as it has a discount £60-£70? No thanks
Racing sims aren't my thing but the visuals in the trailer are pretty impressive
@Nexozi i completed the campaign for wrc7 when 8 came out, then found there were no players online. There's either hardly any online players, reduced servers or servers are turned off for the older titles so no chance of those trophies.
