Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Gets January Release Date Alongside Gameplay, Story Trailers

An embarrassment of riches

Developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has announced that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will heroically launch on PS5 and PS4 on 26th January, 2024. Larger-than-life heroes Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu must join forces on an epic RPG adventure that spans the breadth of the Pacific, from Japan to Hawaii.

Physical copies of the game will be available, and digital preorders are already live. While we usually do our best to resist, the Special Job Set might be the price required to break that tradition prematurely; the Linebacker and Tennis Ace jobs sound too tempting! With a mesmerising array of minigames, new friends to make and returning foes to defeat, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth looks like a suitably absurd successor, and we can't wait.

Man that RGG direct was awesome. We got so much information about Infinite Wealth. It looks to be even more packed than Like a Dragon. More playable characters, more minigames, more locations. This game looks insane. And also a bit sooner than i expected.
A week before Persona and Granblue Fantasy and FF7 Rebirth also launches in feb. Going to have to make choices what to play there, so stacked for JRPG fans

Lol. Obviously buying this as Yakuza is one of my favourite franchises. But is 2024 the year of the Segway? Not seen one in years and here they are popping up in Final Fantasy 7 and Like a Dragon.

It's the new grappling hook, bow and arrow trend it seems and i am absolutely here for it

Have fully caught up on thrle trailers and wow, they keep on upping the stakes with these things. Game looks absolutely fantastic. Day 1 buy

I will be playing this but will probably wait a while. Currently playing starfield and baldurs gate and never finishes like a dragon, so will probably go back and do that before getting the sequel

January? Is SEGA having a laugh? It comes out on the same day as Tekken 8, Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a few days later, and then Persona 3 Reload is a day after that. What the hell is 2024's release schedule?

I can't handle early 2024's schedule. LAD Infinite Wealth, Granblue Fantasy Relink, Persona 3 Reload and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth all in a month. Where am I going to find the time for all of this 😭 gonna need to find a good excuse to get a long time off work

January is awesome because it's soon, but terrible because the start of next year is already jam packed. Good god.

The end of January? Good lord with all the RPGs dropping early next year I won't be able to play anything else until like June at this rate!

I'm sorry Tekken 8, I want to play you too but I can't skip on Yakuza!

Sooo looking forward to this! Played every single yakuza game apart from the zombie one! Going to be a fun end of jan to end of feb with the persona 3 remake and ff7 rebirth! I love with yakuza games you get value for your money because there is so much you can do and it’s incredibly fun!

Ugh, that trailer looked totally insane, in a good way.

I haven't been able to get into a Yakuza game since finishing 2. I played a fair amount of 3 and started Zero but always lose interest. Maybe I'll give Like a Dragon a shot.

Well, this looks amazing! But considering I have Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2, Yakuza 3-6, Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon: Ishin! still standing on my shelf unplayed it’s gonna be awhile before I get to this game…

So far I’ve only played Yakuza 0 which I really liked but, man, my backlog is killing me.

The most heartbreaking part of all we saw, after finding out about Kiryu, was Ichiban walking around Isezaki Ijincho. The interaction with the Hostess club workers and then saving the bar owner from the drunk by sharing his booze with him. He is such a great guy and people are genuinely attracted to him and want him around. He looks so content and happy. However, as the viewer, we know this is exactly what it looks like before the Sh*t hits the fan.
