Update: It looks like Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr won't be the only celebrity designing suits for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, as popstar – and John Wick 4 actress – Rina Sawayama has also been tapped to bring her exclusive flair to the release in a future update. Given the London-based singer’s occasionally outlandish fashion style, we’re expecting something eye-catching to come out of this collaboration.
Original Article: As far as unlikely collaborations go, this one is up there: Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr is partnering with apparel designer KidSuper to create an exclusive suit for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Confirmed as part of a social media blitz earlier this weekend, the Brazilian footballer promises something “very, very extraordinary for you”.
In a social media post, he added: “If I had [a suit] with Brazil’s colours, it would be cool. And the people of Brazil will love it.” It’s unclear whether he’s just teasing here, or if that’s the design direction he intends to follow, but we’re fairly confident there will be a Brazilian flavour to the final design.

@AndroidBango Listen, I admire anyone who stands up to racism, and most footballers grow up poor, especially those from South America. But my point is, what has that got to do with a Spider-Man video game? Good on the guy, just keep the suits to the comics, movies, etc.

Not a Soccer fan as im an American but why are they named the Real Madrid? Should our NFL teams be named the Real Cowboys or the Real Steelers? Was there a fake Madrid?
@Yaycandy “Real” in spanish is the same as “Royal” in english. The equivalent name to the NFL franchises you mentioned would be “Dallas Royals”.

@Yaycandy @ygorapBFR The Royal/Real part of Madrid was given to the club by King Alphonso in the 1920s along with their crown emblem. It is yet another reason for the animosity between them and some other clubs like the Catalan club Barcelona, who are politically opposed.
That said they've both had tax breaks from the Spanish government that gives them an unfair advantage vs other Spanish clubs and other European clubs, stoking even more rivalry. Sport can be a mess of politics at times.

Worst case scenario you're getting an optional suit you simply won't use.
Will buy the game the day the Rina costume is out to show my support. Love herrrrr. Of all the popstars to get this kind of PlayStation promo there's so many bigger names out there, but I love that they chose her bc it feels tailored exactly to me specifically.
