Dragon's Dogma 2 is creeping up, out on the 22nd of March, and will likely arrive while we still have our hands full with other all-consuming RPGs, like Persona 3 Reload and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. We'll cross that bridge when we get there, but in the meantime, IGN's exclusive First coverage continues, giving us a detailed look at the Trickster Vocation.
Kind of a pacifist, the Trickster wields a smoke-producing censor in place of a weapon and supports the players by pulling a massive amount of aggro. Using clones made out of smoke, clever Tricksters will be able to group enemies up, wasting their efforts and allowing other party members to pummel them all the while.

They can even conjure walls and other environmental obstacles to confound and frustrate in what looks like a really creative class, but one that will take a lot of teamwork to get the most out of. If you missed it, IGN kicked off their coverage off with 18 minutes of gameplay, looking at the Fighter, Thief, Warrior, and Sorcerer.
What do you think of the Trickster Vocation? Does it look like something you'd like to try? Remain sceptical of everything in the comments section below.

Yeah watching the video, that play style would put me to sleep so quick. There are cool ideas implemented like the illusive walls and ground, and being able to float around in soul form but overall nah, never gonna use it.
@Dom_31 as in, it supports us players by getting enemies to group up, allowing our party members to kill them easily
Be prepared, wolves hunt in packs!
Probably a second playthrough of this class for me.
Interesting class and a bold move to not have any damage abilities. I think I would need at least one big damage ability even if it's only against a certain type of enemy or at least a small DoT. I do think this will make for good twitch or youtube videos though.
N.i.c.e. dragon dogma 2 is going to be amazing.trickster looks cool.but im always going to play as a sorcerer.the magic in Dragon dogma dark arisen is excellent.word up son
Making the pawns do all the work? Nothing new there for me.
I find this very intriguing, but it feels like an odd choice in a single player game where I'm gonna want to be the super cool hero kicking all the buttocks. It would be really cool if the game had coop. Then I would be a lot more interesting in trying the class out for more than just a quick look.
Interesting, but I don’t think I’ll use the trickster.
Sounds interesting but I don’t think I’ll be using it.
I love using mage classes so I’ll stick to those
Stop hitting yourself!
