13 More Games Coming to PS Plus Extra, Premium This Month

Think we can safely say from this that Outer Worlds 2 is coming to PS5.

AC Valhalla was on extra a few months ago? So now they're removing things from plus and then adding them back? Absolute joke of a selection again. The usual bargain bin ps4 games that nobody wants along with bang average ps5 games every month.

Been waiting on resistance retribution. Also really want to play the outer worlds and maybe jet moto 2. Not to bad of a month, but they really need to step up premium offerings, get a native ps2 emulator cause bend is out of games.

Also the outer worlds and NFS unbound. Good month for me, however now that I remember I have EA play sub anyway, really happy for the outer worlds and resistance!!!

I actually resubscribed to extra last week as Sony offered me a year for £46, less than half price.

@Grumblevolcano The Outer Worlds Spacers choice is published by Private Division, and nothing to do with MS, who are publishing the sequel.

But it is possible, maybe we will learn more tomorrow

I don't have Premium, but I will buy Resistance if it's available for purchase on the store. I love that game and wanted to play it in HD, but last I checked it was broken on ppsspp.

Get in, I held off need for speed as nearly everyone has come to plus at some point. AC Valhala saves me inserting disc when I start it and this is probably permanent addition now as its probably linked to ubisoft plus permanent titles.
Outer worlds was another ps4 boxed game I had so now I can just download the ps5 version and start that.
Have to say I feel more pressurised to play plus games before they are withdrawn rather than triple A games I purchased to play. Which is just wrong.

Fantastic month. My only complaint is that I won't have the time to play everything I want. But wow, The Outer Worlds, Resistance, NFS, AC Valhalla and Tales of Arise (the first in the series to pique my interest)! Hard to complain with those headliners.

Fantastic selection. I still have yet to play outer worlds. Looking forward to that. Ac Valhalla was fun, but a bit long foe my tastes. Lego Worlds is my favorite lego game. Spent hours with that game. Fun time when my daughter was younger as well. The 2 rogue games look fun too. Perfect amount of games to hold me over until Dragons Dogma 2

Not bad. I fancied Need for Speed and I replayed Underground for that itch. Outer Worlds was solid when I played it at launch and I still have a DLC or two left to play in Valhalla.

I am definitely very excited to try the Tales games. I never played them. Do they have to be played chronologically or can I just start with Tales of Arise?

Alright selection this month but as someone who's too busy with P3 Reload and got FF7 Rebirth soon I'm not too fussed

Oh Resistance Retribution. I wrote a few gamefaqs guides for that game back in the day. God, that was so long ago.

Looking forward to this, even though I bought NFS Unbound a while back. Got lucky with Evil West and Plague Tale Requiem last month though--almost bought those but held off. So I won't complain too much.

Edit: Just remembered that Resistance had a special feature where you could connect your PSP to your PS3 (with Resistance 2 on it) and unlock unique features in the game. Wonder how that will work (if at all) here.

This is an awesome selection of games. Tales of Arise is fantastic, and I really enjoyed The Outer Worlds but never played the subsequent DLC. And Resistance Retribution? Hell yeah.

First off. Praise to the objective commenters 🥂

Second, I'll always try a racer for a bit of random fun (especially as we move into spring/summer months, this kind of game suits me well for that time of year)

And I am currently playing a bit of Ratchet and Clank and this silly sci fi fun has made The Outer World's appeal to me once again (was kind of hoping High on Life would be added fairly soon, and it might in the next few months too judging by the deep sale price atm)

But no Final Fanatasy Rebirth day one, or the latest Call of Duty grrrrrrrrrr what a joke of a month 😅😅

Premium way out shining Extra again.

My Premium subscription ends on the 22nd and I'm cancelling PS+ completely. I'm genuinely wondering if I'll be tempted to go back because so far I've barely used it. I've played or bought most of the games that would ever interest me and I refuse to pay £60 a year for cloud saves on Essential.

I'll take some Tales of Arise, thank you very much. Unbound I've already played, but it's definitely worth checking out (and with better graphics as I've played on XSS - is there a save transfer?).
Valhalla is probably considered big hitter, but not for me.

Unbound is actually really great. Brings back the feeling of Burnout and is the best NFS since Rivals easily; it's a lot of fun.

Nothing in it for me once again. Unless the older Tales games are still a recommendation to play (by today’s standards). I really liked Tales of Arise, but finished it a long time ago already.

@TheCollector316 Almost all of the tales games have an unique setting/world so mix it up as you see fit.

@atthegates 3rd party game it would be their deal with ubisoft , its not sony taking these games they don't own off and on just to mess with people.

Pretty decent month in my opinion, some decent games there that people shouldn't pass on. Also finally some games that have persuaded me to upgrade to premium.

Great month , glad they bringing back valhalla since they removed it when i was 60% done with the game , and three awesome tale games

@Shepherd_Tallon Haha 😆 Sorry to sound like a downer. When it comes to ps plus i am definitely an unhappy dub taxi driver. Just disappointed tbh. So much great stuff they could be adding. Nfs and the outer worlds are decent but that's about it. Will cancel plus when it expires and just buy what i want. Can't complain then 😉

Pay more for less games, only 9 for PS4/PS5.

Actually I'm happy there is nothing for me because I only subbing for 1-1 months when something is up and I want to play. So the next important is what games leaving, but that list is coming next week.

I'll try NFS unbound for sure. A good mix of games here aside from Tales of Arise (the most overrated "RPG" I've ever played). Still hardly justifies their reasoning for asking such an absurd sub price. Definitely give Outer Worlds a try if you haven't already.

I wouldn't say NFS Unbound was overlooked as much as it was looked at and passed over after people saw the garish cell-shading special effects they chose to add, trying to make the game seem edgy and cool. Either make the entire game cell-shaded, or leave it alone out.

Is outer worlds spacers choice edition fixed on ps5 yet?

Much weaker than the newer and day 1 selection of games that Gamepass offers (P5 Tactica,P3R, Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred heroes) but a good back catalogue for those like myself who didn't play any of the PS4 exclusives like Death Stranding, FF7 Remake, Detroit Become Human, Days Gone and much more. Rachet and Clank Rift Apart for PS5 is also a great add. The Only PS4 games I ever played excusive were Ghost of Tsushima and Spider-Man.

Tales of Arise is one of the best JRPG's of this generation so that is a big add, although I feel like those who would really have enjoyed it like myself would have brought and played it already.

Nice selection I’d say. Resistance retribution is a fine addition also Outer Worlds 2 and Valhalla(tricky one considering it only left plus a bit a go) but I never got time to get around to it so that’ll be nice. Meanwhile I’m absolutely besotted with Helldivers 2! Multiplayer game done right!

I missed Valhalla the first time around. Maybe I’ll get to it this time. Probably not.

I very nearly bought tales of arise seeing as I'm really enjoying granblue fantasy at the moment so I'm glad I didn't. Need for speed unbound is really good although the cell shaded effects took some getting used to and you can't turn them off and the characters are really f***ing annoying but overall its a damn fine racer. Not much else really for me but a solid month for everybody else.

I came really close to buying The Spacers Choice edition recently as it piqued my interest so that will be a day 1 download for me when it drops. I would recommend Tales of Arise. It's just a really good time and I loved the art style. Performance is solid on PS5 and you don't need to have played the other games to enjoy it. I'm sure doing so would enrich your experience, but I loved it going in blind.

Nearly bought Tales of Arise a few times, so worth it for that alone for me..

Great for anyone who hasn’t played the Tales games, but annoying as I’ve played them all apart from Berseria and I’m still waiting for that one to hit plus!

Might give the Outer Worlds a go.

Would have tried Rogue Book but apparently it’s currently broken with a certain challenge bugged and the devs don’t care about fixing it, so they can screw themselves.

Happy with this. Have been thinking about restarting Outer Worlds but had PS4 version. Also happy to try Arise.

I was expecting Tales of Arise for ages now. One of my most wanted games. Must clear my backlog to add it to my rotation haha.

And I fully recommend Tales of Vesperia DE for any JRPG fan!! It's a gem of a game!!

@KundaliniRising333 The max price of PS premium is £13.50 a month. The top 6 games alone on that list currently retail for around £70 combined on Amazon and at least 4 of them are actually pretty good games. We have also got foamstars, steelrising and rollerdrome to keep for the duration of the subscription. And we get online play (yeh I wish it was free like pc but we are unfortunately not the master race). I will absolutely accept when people say they are crap additions or they are disappointed that they have already played the games but I cannot understand when people think this is an overpriced service. I spent nearly the full price of a monthly sub on my lunch today. What are you expecting PlayStation to give you for £13.50?!?

Ubisoft likes to scare you into buying games by threatening to take them off the service only to bring them back later. Honestly, you should just never buy a Ubi game because that's what usually happens. A shame because I considered them one of the kings of the PS3 era.

Sweet! The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition has been on my wishlist for quite a while now, need for speed unbound is also something that I'm interested playing, not sure what the other games are 🤷‍♀️

A Taleslicious lineup indeed, almost making up for NFS Unbound's Gen 9 exclusivity. I have Zestiria on Deck and the older ones on Switch but I might just give Arise an advance toe dip even if I'm still games and games behind in the respective franchise binge queue. The same may apply to AC Valhalla and would apply to Outer Worlds if the latter didn't already boast a Switch port for years anyway.

THERE IT IS!!!!!!!! Been waiting for RESISTANCE: Retribution to show up on Premium! If it shows up with trophies Sony will get my $$ for the remainder of my yearly subscription. And Jet Moto 2 as well?? BONUS!!!

I wish we got more PS1-PS2 games.
Premium just isn't worth it, for me.

I ended up getting FreeMcBoot and a HDD for my old PS2, instead of waiting for the classics to come to the service.

@Americansamurai1 Bend has two more games actually. One on PS2 and one on Vita. Sony really needs to add Vita to PS Plus. It would finally be a way to play Uncharted Golden Abyss outside of Vita.

@theSpectre thats why I noted a need for native ps2 emulator and premium doesn't include vita games sadly. Sony really needs to step up their past catalog on premium so many games left behind. I wonder who is porting these other 1st party non bend games?

Lego Jurrasic Park...Sweet. I always use Lego games as a kind of palate cleanser after more involved and time-consuming games, and I have never played this one.

dude if i wanted to play a legos game id just play conan exiles again, other than that not to bad, i was on the fence about the tales games cause jrpgs can be so hit or miss, AC can blow me all those games are the same ive had enough of buggy controls, carefully standing on the ledge when suddenly i decide im going to hang from the ledge in front of my target like a damn flag instead of running forward and leaping off the edge to assassinate them

Some people will never be happy.
They are throwing some great games here with the tales games, outer wilds, ac valhalla and nfs unbound.
Most of these games are highly praised, outer wilds even has a 98% approval rating om steam. Yet i see in the comments here people have the audacity to call these 'garbage bin' games.

Ofcourse you're going to have played some of the games on this service already, or not like some of them. That doesn't make them crap games. It's just the nature of a service like this, it doesn't cater exactly to you, every single time.

Didn't like Outer Worlds or Valhalla but I'm willing to give both a second try if I find the time. Especially since spacers choice edition comes with DLC for the former which I hear is better than the main game.

Really hyped for the Tales games. Symphonia was the game that made me fall in love with the genre and I haven't played Arise or Vesperia yet.

I own the majority of these so not good for me , but there's some great games in there , need for speed would better if they got rid of the atrocious music and anoying characters, do people actually like that sort of thing

Having just platinumed Killzone Liberation (hilariously before completing the game), I can't wait to platinum Resistance Retribution.

Will they stop putting remasters/re-releases/retro collections in premium?! It's a joke. The whole premium thing was getting classic games so we all hopes for stuff like legacy or Kain, the resi games, silent hill, twisted metal, maybe vigilante 8, Dino Crisis, wipeout (although the soundtrack would probably halt that) even something like Pandemonium or Destruction Derby. What about some PsP titles or some new PS2 games. Sorry, drives me a teeny bit nutty.
