Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree PS5 PS4 PlayStation

As the final days of our pre-Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree world draw to a close, publisher Bandai Namco is spinning up the hype machine, offering all willing Tarnished (located in North America) a place in the Return to Grace video contest. The first prize is a 10-foot tall statue of Shadow of the Erdtree boss, Messmer the Impaler, himself, but there are plenty of Malenia arms and Messmer helms for other contestants to chase.

The rules of Return to Grace are so simple that we'd be tempted to pull out some of our clips and give them a try, although sadly, as competition is only open to residents of the United States, we would not be eligible. Submissions are open now, and you have until 2nd June to get your own in.

To enter one of the following applicable categories, Tarnished will need to upload mod-free clips of no more than five minutes in length to Twitter, YouTube, or Vimeo. The imposing Messmer statue will go to the winner of Best Trailer, Malenia arms will go to the winners of Best Narrative, Best Action, and Best Direction, and finally, additional Messmer helms will be awarded for Best Comedy, Best Use of Sound, Best Armour Design, and Most Original Use of Elden Ring.

What do you think of the Return to Grace video competition? What would you do with a 10-foot, "life-sized" statue of an Elden Ring boss? Let us know in the comments section below.
