Russell</a> was in-line to take the helm of Nate's big-screen debut. However, according to the LA Times, talks between Russell and the Sony-owned Columbia Pictures have broken down. The report notes that both parties were unable to reach satisfactory terms, and as such, Columbia are once again on the look-out for directing talent.
The Times speculate that any chance of the movie dropping in 2011 have now been scuttled. At this rate, we're amazed movies actually get released; particularly Sony ones. That's Bond, Uncharted and Spider-Man all pushed back now. What's going on at Columbia?
