The game utilises the NGP's rear touch panel to manipulate the geometry of a lush environment. Putting your fingers behind the NGP has a similar effect to putting them beneath a blanket, their placement creates a bulge on the game's cutesy landscape. By moving your fingers around, you can control balls throughout the environment by pushing and poking them through the world. It looks delightful and extremely clever. Kotaku claims that the game's mechanic is what swayed Sony to include the rear touch panel in the first place. The front touchscreen can also be used to "sling" balls around the environment.
In a line-up that seems devoted to big console releases, Little Deviants stands out as something fresh and innovative. Hit the jump for a gameplay demonstration from this morning's event.
