You're Telling Me There's Going To Be Two EyePets On The Screen At Once?

Admittedly the technology was a little bit fiddly in places, but the augmented reality worked great and it genuinely felt like a fresh and new experience. As such, we're pretty stoked to see the PlayStation Move-enabled series get a fresh new PS3 release.

The new game — due out later this year — doubles the trouble, allowing you to simultaneously raise two EyePets at once.

"Raise two on your own or together with a friend, let them hatch together or see first how you can handle one of the mischievous fur balls first – the choice is yours, but don’t forget that two EyePets born together may form a stronger bond with each other," reads the PlayStation Blog.

It sounds like a small addition, but having two AI characters on the screen will probably end up being a pretty big deal. Watching those creatures interact should be really fun.
