Monster Hunter Finally Comes To The PlayStation 3, With HD/3D Support & Cross-Compatible Saves.

That was the sound of jubilation coming out of Japan as Sony announced Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD as part of its PSP Remaster Series. The new product-line — due to release in Japan first — will bring spruced up PlayStation Portable titles to the PS3 with cross-compatible save support and other unique features.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD is will not only offer full integration with the PlayStation Portable version of the game, but will also bring HD visuals, 3D support and online play via Ad-hoc Party. The game's due out in Japan during the summer.
