Capcom's opened the official website for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD, confirming that the spruced up PlayStation 3 release of the PSP classic will include overhauled controls alongside 3D support, Ad-hoc Party and cross-compatible saves
Monster Hunter is famous for requiring players to master the "claw" grip, a position which allows camera and character control using both the PSP's analogue nub and d-pad. Ultimately, not a very comfortable set-up. But Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD will overcome that problem, allowing players to use the DualShock 3's right-analogue stick for more conventional camera control instead.
