Capcom Confirms Development Of Four PlayStation Vita Titles, One To Be Available At Launch

Capcom has hinted that a new Monster Hunter title is in development for the PlayStation Vita, in addition to revealing that it has four titles on the horizon for Sony's new handheld -- one of which is set to be a launch title

Capcom's Got Four Titles In Development For PlayStation Vita.

In an interview with MEGamers, Capcom Europe boss (and former SCEE gaffer) David Reeves suggested that the company has lots to announce for the Vita.

"There will be one launch title for Vita. I am not actually sure if its been mentioned, so I am not going to, but there will be a launch title for the platform. And then we will do Street Fighter X Tekken, and at least two others. I am sure you can guess what one of them has to be, considering the success in Japan."

A new iteration in the Monster Hunter series would be an enormous coup for the PlayStation Vita in Japan, especially if it was exclusive to Sony's platform. Reeves wouldn't be drawn on any specifics, but we're sure we'll start hearing firm announcements soon.
