Sony's Set To Stream This Year's GamesCom Press Conference In PlayStation Home.

Despite housing announcements on par with E3 — the PlayStation 3 Slim for example — SCEE's never quite got round to setting up a reasonable live stream for the event. Perhaps finally realising that its fans do genuinely care about press conferences, the company has announced that its GamesCom presser will be streamed live in PlayStation Home this year. According to European PlayStation Blog manager, James Gallagher, the conference will be streamed on the PlayStation Blog too.

The conference is set to kick off at 18:00PM BST on August 16th. The GamesCom space itself will be available to download from the PlayStation Home navigator shortly before the event itself starts. Sony's promised to loop the hour-long press conference once it's finished, so there's no need to worry if you miss the action.
