The website claims that the latest entry in the survival horror franchise will see Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield at the forefront of the plot.
It won't be an entirely male affair however, as Resident Evil 4's Ada Wong is also set to make a return. In what capacity the character will be involved is still unknown, but it looks set to be a big year for scarlet assassin — she was also spotted in today's Resident Evil: Retribution movie trailer.
According to VentureBeat, Capcom is looking to implement more of the horror aspects from Resident Evil 4 in Resident Evil 6, with the action aspects of its predecessor tossed out. The game's also being developed internally in Japan — unlike so many other of the Japanese publisher's current projects.
An announcement for Resident Evil 6 is expected imminently. We think so, anyway.
