Studio head Martyn Brown had the following words of "comfort" for disappointed Playstation 3 owners. "I appreciate PS3 owners getting pissed off because it's not on their platform immediately, but that's up to Sony I guess to address that."
Call us old fashioned but we'd imagine Team 17 should be more thankful towards their Playstation owning fans who are interested enough in Alien Breed Evolution to kick up a fuss. Still, Martyn goes on to claim that the "Playstation 3 has PAIN" (a Sony developed title as far as we're aware) and that timed exclusivity is "just the way the world works".
Addressing the idea that Microsoft had paid for the timed exclusivity, Martyn claimed such an idea was "bollocks" and credited the publisher's early support for the project as a reason for the timed exclusivity.
So, let me get this straight - just because Sony didn't pat Team 17 on the back early into Alien Breed Evolution's development, Playstation 3 owning fans have totally been shafted and told "that's life".
Hmmm ok. Still, the written word never does come across quite the same as the spoken word. We'll give Team 17 the benefit of the doubt.
