Halloween is almost upon us, and that makes it the perfect time to dig into some PS5 horror. It’s never been a better time to be a fan of spooky gaming, with Sony’s console host to dozens of highly recommended fright-fests, as detailed in our definitive list of the Best Horror Games on PS5.

With so many options to choose from, though, we’ve put together this curated list on the Push Square YouTube channel. Whether it’s Dredge, Dead Space, or Silent Hill 2, you can practically guarantee a eerie evening with virtually any of these.

I do like a horror game not gonna lie 🪓

Hopefully be playing the console version of Phasmaphobia. Hopefully it’s a decent port, I really enjoyed it on pc! I’ve also got A Quiet Place and Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit to play. FNAF has some really good sprite animations and gives me OG Clock Tower vibes.

Doing another playthrough of Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus for platinum and completely forgot it had some horror elements to it like the nightmare box.

I'll hopefully be playing Clock Tower Rewind this Halloween. I have fond memories of playing the PS1 Clock Tower with my brothers growing up, so I'm looking forward to finally playing the first game in the series. Hopefully if it sells well we'll see a remaster of the PS1 game.

Still getting no love but Visage and Darkwood should be on this list. Play them!!

Dead Island 2 for me as the new update dropped last week. Might also get on and finish Silent Hills 2 as well.

Unpatched LOTR: Gollum. Where is it in the list? Again Push Square with the agenda?

Silent Hill 2, since I still haven’t finished it. On the other hand, my buddy and I decided to find something short, scary and totally messed up that we can blast through in one night with a few beers.

Honestly got too scared to finish the original Dead Space. Will try to get through the remake!

I’ll be playing the Legend of Santa this Halloween.

Seriously though, Silent Hill was messing me up on Saturday, so I decided to finally start Banishers and I was really happy with it early on. I preordered this game, for crying out loud. But I’m glad I waited, I guess. Perfect game for this time of year.
