Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for May 2024?

If the service gives me one game a month that I want to play I see it as worthwhile. This month I get Tunic so I'm happy enough with that.

Nope. Crap month after crap month. I feel scammed after having been lured in with AAA games such as Returnal and Demon’s Souls. (Yes, I know Essential and Extra/Premium aren’t the same thing but I judge the service as a whole.)

As someone who only plays Fifa for Seasons mode, this is a good month.

Stopped bothering to buy it full price when I know it will come to subscription services within the year.

Yep, I am happy with Tunic and Fifa, might give the Destiny expansion a try at some point too.

Regarding the line-up, if it means I can recruit more randos for clubs that's a w. Wanted to play ghostrunner 2 some day as well so it's great.

@Netret0120 clubs is pretty neat, as broke as the other game modes ofcourse but at least you can suffer with other people 🙏

its a good month, i dont care about fifa but peaple love it, i want to try ghostrunner 2 and definitely Tunic.

Pro Clubs is fun but I rarely get the chance to play with the lads at the same time. Back in my uni days, it was damn near daily. Now we lucky to play at all.

I’ll probably get Ghostrunner 2 I haven’t played the first yet though.
I already have Tunic, need to carry on with it when I get the chance to.

I'll definitely be playing Tunic. Been wanting to play it for a while.

Also, FIFA means my mate and I have a new game to play each Euro 2024 fixture on before it happens, to get a Mystic Meg-style premonition of the near future, and then rush to the bookies and lose a quid betting on it coming true. It's become a tradition at international tournaments.

Bought tunic on sale so of course it came to ps plus XD
Tried the first ghostrunner, i enjoyed what i played but i suck at not dying
No intrest in football and destiny 2 (not enough time or a squad for the latter)

I'm happy with Ghostrunner 2 and I'll give Tunic a shot.

You see, this would of been a pretty great month for me, but I am already playing through Tunic on Switch with the physical copy I got and loving it, and I don't yet have a PS5 to play Ghostrunner 2 even though I really want to. I'm not into sports or Destiny so the stuff I don't have or can't play are ones that would be great if not for my circumstances, and everything else is not to my taking.

V poor I only keep paying for my son online play. Deamon souls was the only game I really wanted and reternal.
I will continue to pay. But I think you should get access to all ps games when you subscribe in my opinion

Destiny cod halo are all free online games you pay to play games I don't want these as subscribed games when I can play them for free is poor give me games that everyone else pays for that's why I subscribe ps you greedy rats.

Ps plus subscription is an online paying service with a dollar sale bucket bin of free games that are occasionally interesting. End rant.

You don't want games included in PS Essentials that are free to play. Let me just check... Yeah Destiny 2 Lightfall is a paid expansion of the core F2P game. You can't play Lightfall without paying for it otherwise.

I'm really only interested in Tunic this month, but that's perfect. I only need 1 game a month to have Essential be worth the price!

GhostRunner 2 and Tunic are great. There is just no pleasing people. They like to login here and keep their sub so they can call it a crap month every month.

Tunic and FC24 make it a good selection

Really good month in my opinion, looking forward to Ghostrunner 2 and Tunic the most. Also tempted to jump back into Destiny 2 and try the Lightfall DLC.

Also bored of the copy and paste "it's a crap month" and "Ps plus" is crap comments, and it's usually from the same people. Surely if it's that crap every month you just wouldn't subscribe, at the end of the day you're mainly paying for the online play and cloud saves whilst the games are a extra freebie. For the 10.99 I pay a month I can't moan at the 3-4 free games per month, huge catalog of games on Extra, online play and cloud saves.

Tunic saves the day!

One of the better months I've seen in the last year or so. FIFA (or whatever the hell they call it now) is always good for some casual fun, and Tunic was an absolute gem and worth playing at full price, let alone for free.

Tunic is exceptional. I beat it on gamepass and am very happy to now own it

Honestly it's a decent month. FIFA will please soccer fans, Tunic looks like a cool little indie game, and Ghostrunner 2 gathered very good reviews from medias and gamers (once again a good game snobbed by Push Square). Compared to previous months that had only crap games, this one is good.

People love to be miserable. Those vote results are sad. It's a good selection.

Already have FC 24 on ps ..ghost runner 2 and tunic on Xbox ..and not bothered about destiny 2 as last time i tried to jump in as a new player it was horrible lol

I was waiting for an offer for Ghostrunner 2 and Tunic, now I will be able to play them thanks to ps plus.

I already had EA Sports FC 24, best FIFA game in 10 years.

I don't actually think it's a bad selection, I'm just not personally interested. Tunic is awesome, but I bought that at launch. I never finished the original Ghostrunner, and the sequel definitely got worse reviews. And Destiny and FC aren't for me.

I didn't renew this Christmas. Haven't missed it at all. Almost all games are not for me. Don't do a lot of online gaming so the only thing I miss is the online saves. Thumb stick solved that.

Judging by the reactions on this place month after month, I can only conclude most gamers are a miserable lot of moaners that are never happy.

Meh. Normally there's something I'll make a note of to give a go, but this month nothing jumps out at me.

Interested in Tunic.

I play Football Manager on console so I am interested to see how EA Sports spectator mode compares. Not enough to pay money to find out but will look at it as part of my PS Plus.

So 2 games for me this month.
