Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for November 2022?

Nioh is cool, the others are not my thing

Only one I don’t already have is Heavenly Bodies, so I’m looking forward to giving that a try. The lego Harry Potter games are great and Nioh 2 is awesome.

I love Nioh however I'm not going to play it again. Already did Nioh 1 and 2 both on ps4 and ps5

I will probably give Nioh 2 a try but I haven't played 1 and can't recall it ever coming to the Service so that seems odd.

My subscription is up around Thanksgiving, may just let it go, don't think I play anything online besides Fortnite and if I needed paid online for that game I would just stop playing it.🤷

I'll check out heavenly bodies as a curio. Nioh 2 really is the big selling point, but I already have it! No interest in HP, but an otherwise objectively good month!

Honestly the win here for me is Lego Harry Potter. The kids love the Lego Jurassic game we have so getting to play around in a different world will be nice for once.

Would be a better month for me if Heavenly Bodies had online multiplayer. Nioh 2 will probably be too hard for me but I’m down to give it a shot eventually. Lego HP is the big dud for me but that’s alright

In a weird kinda way I'm sort of glad these 3 essential plus games ain't a must play for me, cause GoW Ragnarok in just a little over a week. Not that these games are bad, just not for me

@Beerheadgamer82 I'm having a hell of a time getting invested into any game with GOW right around the corner lol.

@Splat my backlog before Extra existed was already never ending huge and now extra and premium has made it even more huge. What I meant was If one of the 3 recent Essential plus games were a must play for me then it would make it bigger. With games on extra I do get worried about them leaving extra so I'm trying to put them as a slightly more priority

@rjejr Nioh was on Plus in Nov 2019.

Like in most cases, I already have the games or I'm not interested in em. In order to satisfy me is to put brand new games in there in scale of Stray or even Bugsnax. But generally spoken, Nioh 2 is amazing. Good for them who haven't played it

I voted very happy because of Nioh 2. I may own it on ps5, so it is useless to me, but I'm very happy more people will try it and hopefully enjoy it

Already have Nioh 2 and Heavenly Bodies but that’s not PlayStation+’s fault… and for those who didn’t have Nioh 2 that is one helluva ‘free’ title.

I haven’t played any Lego games but have a few in the backlog… depending on how I get on with those, maybe I’ll give LEGO Harry Potter Collection a go at some point.

Good games. Can’t play the Lego ones as there are too many bugs that can ruin the trophy campaign, and I haven’t even got to Nioh 1 yet, if I ever do, but having a CO-OP game to play with the wife is always a massive plus, so I’m OK with the month for that reason alone.

Only Nioh 2 stands out for me here. The others are just passable. Not bad, but if you seriously wanted them you'd probably just buy them instead.

I. Mean Nioh was OK combat wise, with a horrific level format, UI, and terribly story.

However my thing is this... This game has been discounted to like 10 buck before. If you haven't played it for that price yet....

So most that love these clones, have likely already played them especially with it having been steeply discounted. Those that haven't played this bad boy aside from those that potentially couldn't afford it, woukd never want to or avoid higher difficulty games anyways.

So for me this another throw away month. As well as it is for many others aside from the token Lego clone that may appeal to some for an hour or two.

Still I think if you by some chance haven't played nioh and are a souls clone lover, and can look past all the terrible design choices, then it's likely a decent month.

I'll checl out Heavenly Bodies and possibly Nioh 2. I liked what I played of the forst but never finished it. I'm also kind of fatigued from Souls-likes.

Maybe my wife would like Lego HP? I don't have much interest. I played a ton of Lego Star Wars a while back and had some fun.

Poor selection imo. Not a great fan of the original Nioh for 'diificulty' which basiclly relies on parrying and twitch responses. Miss a couple of parries and you dead soulslike. 😪 Not fun for me.

Lego? Harry Potter? Not 10yr old so no thanks.

The other one doesnt even count because i've never even heard of it lol.
Feel sorry for ppl on limited budgets that rely on psplus essential for gaming 😅

@C9906753 hmm, Nov 2019 you say. That means I probably should have it, but I may have skipped that year. I've been pretty consistent since day 1 but have missed a year or 2. Thanks.

In case you are wondering why I don't just go check, it's b/c the PS5 doesn't have themes, so when I redeemed my code last Nov. I didn't realize I was in my kids account so they have PS+ now and I don't have access to my many years worth of games. Wasn't worth it to me to pay another $60 for my backlog as I can still game online on theirs and still have access to all of the PS5 Game Collection.

Nioh 2 is a decent addition 👌 will be too busy with ragnarok thou. Wonder what the extra and premium titles will be😆

I'll give Heavenly Bodies a go, but Nioh isn't the sort of thing I generally get along with, and I'm not even claiming the Lego TERF game

I already got nioh 2 on my ps4 pro.i been playing it for a long time now.im on level 108.im almost at the end.i got all the dlcs.excellent game.and one of my favorite games ever.the other games im not interested.heavenly bodies.and lego harry potter.and my backlog of games is huge.i just bought scarlet nexus with the season pass and tales of arise.2 excellent jrpgs.word up son

Honestly, I hardly pay attention to the releases, I have PS Plus for the cloud saves, online, etc. If I want a game, I usually have already bought it before it comes out on PS Plus.

@teslliot, same here. If there is a game i want i generally buy it on release. Quite rare i even bother to dl psplus games. The ones that do interest me, i have already bought.
Prefer gamepass personally for day one releases 😀 Looking forward to Starfield, and if its as buggy as Skyrim, hell yeah 😉

It's somewhat a source of fascination at this point that Sony manages to release 3 games every month that I have absolutely no interest in. Like. Every. Single. Month. There's maybe one a year I look forward to.

And I've mostly enjoyed Extra thus far but if it ends up just becoming primarily an Ubisoft dump, and it's maybe kinda looking that way, then that may change.

Does anyone know exactly where to go to find the last chance to play section. I've been on these new tiers a couple months now already and have never come across it not once and even when I specifically go looking for it, nowhere to be seen. Where the heck is this thing

No idea what Nioh is but Lego Harry Potter certainly pleases me. That'll be my game to play over the Christmas period, along with Miles Morales.

I think you seriously overestimate the amount of spare time people have. There are so many games I would like to play but I don’t get to until years after their release. To say people who want to play these games would have done so because they have been on sale kind of misses that point.

@Beerheadgamer82 I haven't been on PS4 in a while, but on PS5 you go to the PS+ section (all the way left on the home screen), then keep scrolling down. It's like 3rd from the bottom or around there.

I bought that lego game a month or so ago. The other 2 I don't have, so to the library they go.

@Milktastrophe yh I've done that. Gone through every section on the entire PS plus section (on the far left next to the PS store) down left right up and all the other sections of plus on my PS5 but still can't for the life of me find where it is

If you haven't got and played Nioh 2 already, there's a 79% chance it's not for you

Decent enough just not for me which is fine as I am more than happy with what I have got so far this year!

@Splat I know the feeling. So far the only game that's captured me is Outer Wilds because I didn't finish it last time I played.

Well, it's been a long time since i wrote something like this, but I am very happy with this month plus games.
Let's see what comes out more for the premium plus. Maybe they can surprise me again, in a positive way.

Nioh 2 is an awesome game, and I love co-op games, so Heavenly Bodies is a game I had already considered getting. Both are great as far as I’m concerned. Normally I’d be happy about a lego game, but I refuse to support the awful TERF that is Rowling. This will be the first free game that I deliberately skip and don’t even add to my library.
