Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Games for January 2022?

I bought Persona 5 Strikers in the black friday sale on last week of november so im feeling a little bit clowny since i could have bought anything else, but im happy for my friends who didnt have the game until now lol

One of the best months in a good long while. Tempted to download Dirt 5 until GT7 comes out.

Stoked to play and plat Dirt 5 on PS5. Not quite sure what to make of Deep Rock Galactic but probably not my cup of tea. Meh to Persona but I'm glad people are pumped for it.

Excellent month, good start to the year and what a result for new PS owners. The Collection plus this!

This is a good month in terms of calibre of game however nothing that interests me unfortunately

This is the first time in about a year that the a PS Plus poll is mostly positive!

For about $5 a month (or less), people have some outrageous expectations. This is a very good month.

Pretty decent selection all-around! P5 Strikers is definitely the highlight, though.

Its not a bad month for sure but from a Personal perspective, its not a 'great' month for me. As someone with Game Pass Ultimate and a Series X as well as PS+ and a PS5, both Dirt 5 and Deep Rock Galactic have been available to play for months. I have no interest in Persona either so from a personal perspective, there is 'nothing' here that I want.

Its the same as if they gave us Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War and Spider-Man - some of the best first party games of the PS4 era and would be a fantastic month - but having all of those would mean that I personally don't get anything from it.

That affects the 'enthusiasm' for the games. It doesn't matter if they are 'great' titles, if you don't enjoy certain games or already have them, its not a 'great' month to them individually. It doesn't necessarily mean that trolls/fanboys are voting. I voted with 'Meh' because I am not 'happy' with the selection because I already had access to 2 of 3 and the 3rd doesn't interest me at all!!

Looking at it objectively, yes its a 'good' selection but the question was am I happy with the selection and the answer is 'meh'

Just for Persona alone is great to me.

Good list, however I don't plan on playing any, as I already own the Persona 5 Strikers platinum and Dirt 5 platinum.

Didn't even bother adding any of the December games to my library, though I already owned DC Super Villains - the other two were guff.

This looks like at least two of interest and I may well give Persona a go too.

I was shocked to see Persona so high. I planned on buying Deep Rock Galactic, works out well for me.

Great month for Persona alone, looking forward to it.

This is the strongest selection of games in months. If someone isn't happy with this selection, then PS Plus probably isn't for you and you should most likely just unsubscribe.

@ShogunRok Hey I was thinking maybe you should hold an end of month poll regarding the Plus releases. Be curious to see how people feel about that month's selection after they've had a chance to try them.

Isn't really my month but still a bit better than the previous months so that's for that.
I'm looking for Dirt 5 the most.

Happy enough, love a good Musou so even though P5S is a sequel I'll have no idea about story wise, I'll happily take it for the gameplay.

I paid 30$ for the whole year. Made my money back on the first month! Love trying games I would never buy like persona striker. A lot of people expect way to much . I just hope psplus and ps now don’t have a lot of cross over this year

I've been interested in the Dirt series since the first game, but have never played one because yet, so happy to get this one for free. Not sure what to make of Strikers, but Persona 5 was OK, so I'll check that one out too.

Probably the best month for me since 2020.

This is the best ps+ month in a long long time for me. I'm planning to download and play all three of these. Usually I don't download any!

Dirt 5 is good, but already in my library. The rest are meh. If you haven’t played Dirt 5, I can definitely recommend the download.

I will give Dirt 5 a go as I want to try out the 120Hz option on my newish TV.

Yes, this is a really good month, I want to try them all, especially persona 5 strikers 😃

@FatalBubbles Sure, you might have no interest in them, but you can at that it's objectively not "crap", right? Just not to your tastes. There's a difference, no?

@theheadofabroom I guess it depends how you look at it. To me it’s a crap selection because I don’t want anything they have to offer. If you’re looking at it from the perspective of what “critics” think then you’d probably say it’s not crap.

@FatalBubbles I'd look at it from the perspective of "is this a good offering considering the audience for the service" in which case, unquestionably yes. It covers a broad spectrum with games that are either beloved by their target demographic, or hotly anticipated in the case of DRG.

I don't like Apple products, they don't appeal to me, but I don't think I can call them crap. Overpriced? Maybe. Overmarketed? Definitely. Crap? Nah, I'm just not their target audience.

@theheadofabroom Nothing wrong with that of course. But seeing as how I’m paying for PS+ for me, whether it’s crap or not is based on whether it’s good for me. There have been a couple months this year where people thought it was crap but I liked them, so it’s all just a matter of opinion.

Glad to have a racing game to try. I don’t enjoy them enough to buy (except Mario Kart) but I’ll def download this and give it a go.

@FatalBubbles Eh, for me that's "Nah, not very happy". "No, it's a crap selection" is reserved for when they're palming off demos and f2p titles, and horrendously buggy shovelware, or when all the games are for some small niche, leaving the majority of subscribers underserved.

It's interesting to see how people read the same prompts differently, and I guess I can now see your perspective, which maybe makes the results make more sense.

@Happychocobo Persona 5 Strikers and Deep Rock Galactic basically takes care of the year for me as far as me finding the subscription worthwhile.

Everything after the fact is a bonus.

But does seem like a way to get some subs to start off 2k22.

Looking forward to try out Deep Rock Galactic. Good games for the month. I see a lot o people having the same problem (as do I) of a very large backlog of games in their library. Maybe it is a sign that PS Plus should become something more than just a selection of free games every month, and become a more alive and interactive gaming service. Like a club or something.. with new things added as the month goes. For example the community challenges that award players with new profile images and themes. Just some random thoughts..

Loved all persona games but couldnt get into strikers. The combat was too button mashy for my taste

P5S and Dirt 5 were two of my favourite games last year so it's a great month, even though I have them already. Not too interested in DRG but it seems like something a lot of folks will "dig" (not sorry).
