February 2023 is set to be another very busy month for PlayStation, coming off the back of a January that was already packed with goodies. Over the next 28 days, we're going to see the arrival of potential blockbuster Hogwarts Legacy on PS5, flanked by anticipated titles such as Like a Dragon: Ishin!, Octopath Traveler II, and Wild Hearts. There's also Destiny 2: Lightfall to consider, alongside Atomic Heart, Deliver Us Mars, and the mental looking Wanted: Dead. Jeez!
There should be something for just about everyone, then. And so we have to ask: what PS5 or PS4 game are you most looking forward to in February 2023? As always, vote in our poll, and then explain your plans in the comments section below.
Please note that this poll does not include games for PSVR2, which also launches in February. We'll be hosting a separate poll for Sony's new virtual reality system in the near future.

Got to be Ishin for me. Been waiting on this game for almost a decade!
For me Like a Dragon: Ishin is my most anticipated game this year along with Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, who has my most favourite gaming character ever
I went for Ishin once I read the bold disclaimer lol. Can’t go wrong with the Yakuza series and spin offs. Hogwarts would have been second (in fact I’ll probably play this first as I pre-ordered it for the wife).
Like A Dragon Ishin for sure. Got it pre-loaded on Series X.
I guess I'll have to wait for the other poll as this month is all about PSVR2 for me, so I hope you all enjoy your traditional screen gaming
Hogwarts legacy although I won’t be playing it till later (PS4).
I don’t know why, as I’ve been on media blackout & will continue to be so until I’m playing it, but I’m absolutely certain that this game will deliver.
@carlos82 Same. There are some good games on the list but I'm not getting any of them this month - gimme my headset in 3 weeks though!
Im curious to see how the cards turn out in Like a Dragon but I very much enjoyed the new turn-based route they went with to change things up.
It's pretty much a tie between Hogwarts Legacy and Ishin! You can't ask me to choose only one!
Hogwarts Legacy for sure.
The game looks quite interesting and even if it doesn't reach the heights that is promising, the Harry Potter world is a quite entertaining one to visit.
@Voltan I couldn't afford any of them if I wanted to, I might check out Ishin later though. For now I'm playing GT7 until I get my headset with Horizon
Currently impressed with Deliver Us the Moon on Extra so hoping Deliver Us Mars reviews well but being a Yakuza fan for over 15 years now I had to vote Ishin. Never been a Potter fan but Hogwarts does look a fun time
Hogwarts for sure.
Iike a dragon and atomic hearts it just depends if they're good enough.
I think I might be in the minority here, but each trailer that I see of Hogwarts Legacy makes a little less interested in the game. I keep circling back to how all of what they have shown will all be tied together with compelling characters and storytelling and I'm just not seeing it. I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong.
It's Theatrhythm FF but for some reason it's not on the list... again. Super hyped to play through any of the new songs it'll have especially for FFXIV
Honorable mentions are Hogwarts, Ishin, Wild Hearts, and Octopath 2
Hogwarts Legacy. It's a dream game for potter fans. Been wanting a game like it for a looooong time
Call of the Mountain
Ishin all the way.
Hogwarts for me, easily. Looks like it's going to be a great open world game set in a brilliantly constructed universe. Hoping that it reviews well but even so I've got it preordered and I'm sure we are going to all love it here in the render household.
Hogwarts for sure. 100%. Excited for the early access.
Atomic Heart, excited to read the reviews and see if I peruse it on Gamepass.
Octopath 2 is a yes too, but I’m not sure if I’ll jump right away or not.
Hogwarts all the way for me! I cant wait to relive a bit of my childhood playing this! So excited!!!!!
Wow, a pretty loaded month!
Hard to say , it's between hogwarts and lad: issen; depends how good hogwarts is, open world games are usually sparse in terms of story
the digital pre order bonus on Ishin is only 3 days not worth it , i could understand a 10 day or 15 day bonus i can wait already waited 10 years no importing
I voted for Ishin. Would put Hogwarts 2nd but I'm likely not playing that until December. In reality Ishin is probably "buy on June sale or November sale" because Feb is all about VR2 though. And I'm spending more than enough there!
Like A Dragon Ishin without a doubt
Excited to be playing as John Yakuza in the Samurai era.
Like a Dragon: Ishin for me, but Hogwarts Legacy is a very close second.
man, Hogwarts Legacy does look good but I'm just not a big Harry Potter guy. I'm going with Wild Hearts.
Like a dragon ishin.atomic heart. wild hearts. Hogwarts legacy.wanted dead.octopath traveler 2.all looks amazing.word up son
Surely Hogwarts Legacy will be epic, so of course I intend to play it eventually. But right now I'm more intrigued by Atomic Heart and Wild Hearts.
Guess I'm the only one wanting to try out running a restaurant with A Chef's Life then
Hogwarts Legacy definitely.
Then Atomic heart.
Followed up closely by Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty even though it launches March 3rd : )
I’m a huge Yakuza fan, but it isn’t even close, it’s Hogwarts!
To be honest… I won’t be buying any of these right now.
Once it goes on sale, Ishin will be a definite pickup.
Hogwarts Legacy and Like a Dragon: Ishin are the two games I'm looking forward to the most this month
This month I am only looking forward to play call of the mountain.
I suspect that atomic heart may look ok, albeit seriously downgraded on PS5, yet turn out to have some gameplay mechanics, design issues, and rough edges that may make it just ok at launch if that.
In terms of the Potter game, I suspect glowing reviews, AND mediocre to poor reviews that will all be so hard to discern authenticity from amongst all the potter fans and reviewers in that rank and file that will overlook fact. Along with those that will be unable to separate JK Rowling form this project and review with any biases that may produce (which is a completely understandable position as well considering she does profit from the IP use).
I think overall, Hogwarts looks like PS4 game borrowing a lot of mechanics from what's been done but will be a must have for those still fawning over their childhood memories of the potter franchise.
I am genuinely looking forward to Wanted Dead. Looks like a good old-fashioned videogame with some challenge. also interested in redemption reapers and scars above.
Wow, hogwarts running away with it. My pick as well, but also looking forward to atomic heart
Ishin and Hogwarts are the two major ones for me. Probably won't get Like A Dragon: Ishin straight away though as I'm in the middle of Yakuza Kiwami 2. Likewise, I've got to wait until April for Hogwarts Legacy on PS4, assuming there's no major problems with that version.
Atomic Heart 💯 🤯
Deliver us Mars and PSVR2 for me. There's something for everyone this month though eh?! More to add to the dreaded backlog.
wild hearts looks good but if mh rise had released physical with sunbreak included it wouldn't have got a look in anytime soon.
i quite fancy hogwarts legacy but looks like it will need a couple of ironing out patches after release before it is ship shape.
I'll be buying Wanted:Dead and Like a Dragon: Ishin for sure! Atomic Heart I'll just try it on Game Pass because still skeptical of it's quality!
I'll wait until April to pick the physical version of Redemption Reapers!
Hogwarts legacy if I can get the money to buy it
Really should have Horizon Call of the Mountain as an option. Pretty sure I won't be the only one with my sole focus on VR2 in Feb.
Can't wait for Octopath II!
Yakuza: Ishin for me, though its a busy month all around with theater rhythm, octopath 2, and labyrinth of galleria.
@OMG_Waffles @render @Beeeee-AHH-eer @Pat_trick Same here! I'll be pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition tomorrow morning, just waiting for my Best Buy gift cards to arrive in my email.
It's a good list for sure, and no doubt will be picking up a few of those titles at some point, but it's all about PSVR2 for me this month.
Atomic Heart for me, been keen on this one for quite some time now. Once PSVR2 hits the shops and not PS direct I will pick one of those up too but I must admit I am a bit disappointed that there won't be many physical games available as they push digital only.
Heavily into destiny at the mo so gotta be lightfall for me. Got a couple of friends into it and now we tackling dungeons and hoping we will be able to do raids soon enough. So much lore packed in. Enjoying it much more than I did warframe which I played for about 7 years.
Hogwarts Legacy. I hope its as good as it looks. I haven't pre-ordered yet as physical deluxe went quick so will wait on reviews to be absolutely sure and then grab on 6th. I have this slight worry that it just looks too good to be true despite all the gameplay trailers and reveals and previews backing up the fact it looks fantastic...
Hogwart legacy (of course), tales of symphonia, atomic heart, and octopath traveler 2
Hogwarts Legacy by a country mile, as like many others it's been around 15-20 year wait to get a game like this. Looks like this game is going to sell an insane amount of copies. Poll results were what I was expecting with LADI and Atomic Heart in 2nd and 3rd.
Wanted Dead looks very interesting but the difficulty spike could prove too much. Octopath Traveller 2 is very much a Switch type of game for me.
Like a Dragon Ishin is also one i'm very much looking forward to and in any other month it would be my no1 choice (Apart from maybe if Persona 6 or GTA 6 came out).
Unpopular opinion: Scars Above
Maybe Fashion Police. That's about it.
Wanted: Dead is the game I'm most looking forward to this year in general but I'm getting that on Xbox so for the purpose of this poll I voted Like a Dragon: Ishin since it's a very close second and I'm it on PS5. The poll results are what I expected but it's cool to see Ishin get a little love. The Yakuza/Like a Dragon series has come quite a ways in the West since 0 revived it in the middle of the PS4 era.
I am definitely looking forward to Hogwarts Legacy. Backlash or not, I want to support those who put in so much work to make the game possible. Also, I love open world games and magic, but not sure what else on the list I may like to play or not. I am taking suggestions.
