Host Geoff Keighley poured some water on that fire by telling us to manage our expectations, so if you decided not to bother tuning in after hearing that, we've gathered together all the PS5, PS4 reveals in this here article.

Such a bad showcase.
Geoff said to lower expectations last night, but jesus this was shocking.
…..have I become the very thing I swore to destory…
A bunch of meh
TMNT Shredder’s Revenge release date was also announced: 6/16.
@awp69 As well as the fact that Casey Jones is playable.
Dude that Factions 2 concept looks insane. I get DayZ vibes, but with actual good gameplay.
One thing I'm worried about is the potential lack of a 4v4 in incredibly good and classic maps like in the original factions (minus the tiny DLC maps that resembled Nuketown).
Hope they keep the original modes in there as well, because the tactical, stealthy and brutal gameplay (that literally no one else does, let alone this good) is too good to be left behind
Ps. This was just a huge advertisement show, just like TGA's with games that absolutely did not belong in the spotlight and it dragged on in parts
Damn, really glad I didn't stay up for this at all.
I figured this would be a stinker, so I didn't even bother watching it. Will probably do the same with TGA this year.
Keighley's events are always disappointing.
Glad I didn't watch it lol
@Jacko11 agreed, and why is he still hosting them? why not have the trailers speak for themselves or a short interview with the devs.
It was really hard to follow Sony's event, especially when that kicked off with two top tier resident evil announcements
I didn't even know this was happening but glad I skipped it lol
I am not trying to be an ass, but TLOU1 looks exactly the same as the PS4 version I played to me. I’m sure the improvements are there, I just need to see it side by side. I guess I am remembering the original differently as I can see people commenting on how much better this version looks. I dunno man.
New Alien game could be cool though. Probably won’t.
@kyleforrester87 So, if you look at side-by-sides between this version and the PS4 remaster, you can see some pretty big differences in terms of the character designs.
But I agree this isn't nearly impressive enough to be worth releasing as a separate remake, let alone one priced at $70. It strikes me as a PS4 game, frankly. It doesn't have the next-gen pop that Rift Apart and Demon's Souls had.
I'm officially de-boarding the Sony train. Charging £70 for a remake of a game that doesn't need it is really taking the mick.
Ahead of the rumours I was thinking they'd package in the LoU2 factions multiplayer alongside the LoU1 remake and maybe charge £50ish for it. To charge £70 for that remake is genuinely beyond a joke. Game doesn't need it, price is too high and their behaviour is setting a trend of bad developer exploitation that is worthy of the EA Ultimate Team slur.
Wake me up when PlayStation comes back as I remember it.
The last of us is a remaster not a remake. The difference is so small. A remake is resident evil 4 something that looks totally different not this
@pip_muzz same here I've had enough always had playstations but with everything going up apart from wages I can't afford these games now.
@pip_muzz
I would blame all the people that keep crying out for these remakes. Calling for TLOU and Bloodborne etc, games from last gen that look great already that don't need a remake. Miniscule differences that can be achieved with an update.
Coupled with Sony's stupid decisions, complacency, watering down the platform by pimping their games and Jim 'the accountant' Ryan PlayStation will never be the same again.
They've lost their Japanese legacy thanks to commiefornia and just chase money now.
Fortunately for me, when, not if, gaming goes completely down the toilet by next gen. Live services, no exclusives, constant 'remasters' MTX, NFT's, broken and incomplete games. I'll be going back to my PS1/2/3 and enjoying the glory days of great diversive games that had passion and imagination. I've got enough games to last a lifetime.
I hope all of you do too because gaming as we knew it is very nearly over. Cynical? Yes. But also true.
TLOU remake clearly looks different but of course certain people were going to moan about one of playstations best games. But don't seem to mind Bethesda releasing skyrim (ps3 game) 16 times for full price since its release
The Last of Us in development for PC. Biggest announcement for me.
@Ryany who says you have to buy them at launch? I don't get it.
@GADG3Tx87 couldn't be further from the truth, but you do you.
@UltimateOtaku91 Heh bet it would blow your mind if these ‘certain people’ also carried the same issues with games like skyrim huh
This, and concept art, was an odd choice to end the show with.
It definitely looks different in screen shots of character models. I think it is telling though they had to use side by side to point out it does look different.
Last of us is probably my favourite PlayStation game ever. And in my top 5 of all time for sure. I still don’t think game direction has been matched. But they asked me to buy it again for ps4 to run at (an almost solid) 60fps. I played it again just before last of us 2 hit…so I’ve fairly recent memory of it. Probably won’t be picking it up again.
I am interested to learn what they’ve changed with the gameplay though…as I actually preferred the crafting in the first one
Well! Someone please pass me an energy drink, I’m falling asleep just reviewing these announcements.
Callisto Protocol looks to be in serious danger of copyright infringement.
Oops, guess I’m the only one who thought TLOU Part 1 looked impressive, like TLOU Part 2 (including gameplay mechanics). I get that it’s the 3rd time this game launches & a full price will not persuade me to buy it again but I love to revisit it someday. The reason they did this is because they know it will sell like crazy when the TV show launches (first footage I saw was quite authentic to the game). I’m dying to know what ND new project is about!
It'll be interesting to see what TLoU Part 1 releasing in September means for GoW Ragnarok.
Comes to something when TMNT is the most interesting title in the list...
Do people here even like video games? It doesn't seem like it because it's just always complaints.
@pip_muzz So if u don’t want to play it, don’t! Get that weak kind of thinking off a PlayStation site. I don’t want to play it either but there is entire group of people that haven’t played or will want it for the upgrades. Play what u enjoy. U could go to XB where they don’t release games or to Nintendo where they don’t release adult games. Bye!
