Star Wars: Eclipse won it for me.
Well that and the Dokev song.
Such an absurd amount of announcements. I love it! Like 3 hours of trailers, 25 minutes of awards, and 5 minutes of Imagine Dragons torture (so torn since Supergiant Games music is amazing, as is the show Arcane).
I only really cared for Star Wars Eclipse, tbh. There was other neat stuff in there, but it all kinda blended together for me.
Alan Wake Looks amazing good ole remedy!
You guys forgot the cuphead dlc
Slitterhead, Sonic and Saints Row then topped it off with Star Wars!
In terms of new announcements, Alan Wake II was pretty much the only one I'm really looking forward to.
Really disappointed there was no announcement of Chrono Cross remaster as rumored.
Glad I didn't stay up until 6am for this!
Is that it? Glad I didn't stay up lol
Hellblade 2!was all I needed out of this. I adore Star Wars and was really excited until I realized it was a Quantic Dreams game, they have fantastic narratives but their games aren’t for me. I’ll stay reluctantly optimistic for it though.
Aaaargggh still no word on Factions...
@velio84 lol More than likely. I was just wishing for a nice Christmas surprise.
ngl an open-world Sonic game would be something I'll be looking forward to and I'll be keeping my eyes on that Slitterhead game
LOL - which ones of those are the 5 'Elden Ring scale announcements'.
I'd heard that Keith was full of it but this is the first time I've fact checked him. What a idiot.
Where is Evil West? looks amazing!
I thought forspoken looked really impressive, looking forward to that. And since I like a good coop game with my mate, I will keep an eye on that arc raiders.
SquEnix… where is Persona 4 Golden for PS5? It’s on PC can’t be much to move it over!
A resurrected Telltale Games releasing a game based on The Expanse is something I'll definitely show up for. Good trailer.
I'm so glad I didn't stay up from 2-5am to watch this since no game was announced (or even shown) that interests me
Some great reveals but I'm sick of seeing CG trailers, if you don't have gameplay don't show it!!
@meistergeister Atlus, not Square Enix
Evil West finally has a gameplay trailer and boy it looks incredible! A spiritual sequel to Darkwatch for sure.
As for the rest of the announcements, I'm most excited about Plague Tale Requiem, Space Marine 2, Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad and of course, Star Wars Eclipse.
God I'm dying for a new Quantic Dream game..
@Jayslow I'm sorry that you don't like imagine dragons. A lot of people do though
@Tidus_g Xbox exclusive i think?
I'm very dubious about quantic dreams star wars game, their back catalogues been very hit and miss for me. It has the potential to be amazing though
I wish you guys would show all announcements, cause then I have to go to some sketch third party site
@Bagwag82 a lot of people enjoy cannibalism, doesn't make it right..
@Radbot42 We're catching up on stuff we missed today! Hang in there
@Serialsid Agreed. Forespoken and Arc Raiders. I'll keep an eye On Eclipse too.
A lot better than Spike TV's "VGAs" show, that was pure rubbish. (2004 era)
Genuinely excited for many of these titles and hope many can fulfill their potential.
Not many people have said much about the new plague tale game, but given how much I enjoyed the last one, and how impressive their own engine was at delivering a sublime looking title, I can see this being a real stand out title once its ready for launch.
Quite the meh list. A couple games to look forward to (Horizon, and Alan Wake II) and then just filler (Maybe the Expanse game too, maybe)
Star Trek I guess but I'm not convinced it'll be good yet... it just has potential... and that's only because I'm a fan of the era shown.
That Star Wars trailer was excellent.
Slitterhead and Alan Wake 2 got my interest. Elden Ring already got me long ago.
@Johnnycide lol 🤣
@lindos
There were 4-5 announcements as big as Elden Ring.
Wonder Woman Reveal
Suicide Squad Gameplay Reveal
Alan Wake 2 Reveal
Hellblade 2 Gameplay Reveal
Quantic's Dream Star Wars Game
Sonic Game
Plus Forspoken, Plague Tale, Horizon and Elden Ring were nice to see again.
I don't think he was reaching at all. I think you expected that those 4-5 games would have been something you be iterested in.
I liked the show, but it can be cut to 2 hours and a half. In terms of amount of announcements, I think it was better than any e3 conference this year (Xbox being the only one being good so it's not saying much)
alan wake 2 im all in been playing it since xbox360 days cracking game!
more star wars yes please!
Very meh, and no big games for Xmas this year as well. Very disappointed with gaming in general on both consoles this year. I'm having to revisit old games I have got over already because there is nothing new worth playing.
@Denni5m you don't have a backlog of games at all? maybe you can catch up on some shows/movies...that's what i'm gonna do.
@middyone because of covid I was home a lot I got through all of them, I have nothing I want to play at the moment. First world problems I know... I need a good epic 100 hour rpg or something to come out.
I get that this costs a lot of money to make but the amount of advertising took down the classy show too much for me.
@velio84 these day I like to have more context in my game trailers than a bunch of admittedly sexy looking graphics, though If they ultimately play and feel as good they look then I’m game.
@lindos he's a idiot because they showed 5 announcements equal or better imo than elden ring that you wasn't interested in? that's a you problem dude
This was an amazing event for me! I love anything Star Wars related, been a fan of Alan Wake since I beat the first game, and have been wanting a Wonder Woman video game.
Nice to finally see more of Sonic Frontiers and A Plague Tale: Requiem.
Also looking forward to Horizon: Forbidden West, Forspoken, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
I'll also eventually check out Saints Row, Star Trek: Resurgence, Babylon's Fall, The Expanse: A Telltale Series, Evil West, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, and finally Tiny Tina's Wonderland.
I find it strange that people are getting excited over otherwise well done cinematics that don’t really give much insight into how they’ll play yet, especially since E3 got tons of flack for having too many trailers of this type. It could be I’m missing something here.
@velio84 Elden ring and Horizon are two of my main takeaways as well. I need a bit more convincing for some of others though the aesthetics of things like Eclipse, Slitterhead, Sonic: Froniters and even Arc Riders seem to bode well.
@Blackjay he didn't say the reveals were going to be all gameplay tho.
I like the look of the Star Wars game but as long as I don't have to wash the dishes or make the dinner like the pointless stuff you have to do in past QD games I will polish R2-D2 tho Man, I'd polish him big time And Horizon 2 was the best thing shown that is 'real' gameplay at the show by a mile
@RevGaming who said that exactley?
@Blackjay no. He didn't say that.
@Denni5m oh I see. be careful looking though...there are alot of 100hr rpg that are more quantity over quality.
It's a huge achievement but from 2022 the Xbox One as PS4 has to be dropped. No point in selling next gen consoles but with games built on restrictions of last gen hardware .... Time to move on and accept progress. Those SSD's and huge boosts in GPU and especially CPU need to be exploited and used fully...the sooner the better.
