We're just about at the end of the busy release schedule, and on the cusp of the holidays, so it's time to unwind and catch up on all of the games that you've missed. With so many deals flying around, we're sure you've added to your backlog, and have an abundance of games to play.
Sammy Barker, Editor
After a couple of weeks of GTA all day, I'm taking a little bit of a break while Rockstar improves its remasters to review Farming Simulator 22. I'm under embargo right now, but I will say I'm enjoying the change of pace.
Liam Croft, Assistant Editor
With this year's big review season now over and done with, I'm catching up with my backlog and playing the games I missed. First up is Kena: Bridge of Spirits, which I'm really enjoying so far.
That's everything we're playing this weekend, but what about the rest of you? Hop into the comments section below, and let us know.

Genshin impact and moonlighter
So I bought The Pathless, Tails of iron and The Procession of calvary in the indie sale. I finished Procession of calvary today, great point and click game with renaissance art style and very funny humour, highly recommended (is on the short side though) I've played about an hour of The Pathless and am enjoying it so far, it's the last game I haven't played from the launch game period of the PS5 games I'm interested in and am delighted that its supposed to be around 10-15 hours worth of content. Happy gaming everyone😎
Tears of Avia just came out so I’ll be trying that out. Since it’s been awhile since I played a SRPG.
Might start my 2nd run of the immersive Metro Exodus or might just reinstall Skyrim or Genshin Impact. Meantime still thoroughly exploring the wilderness of New Hanover. Some laps in GT Sport, probably smack some enemies in Mafia 3 and anything else.
Final Fantasy VII Remake on Hard Mode. Trying to get all of the manuscripts as I go.
I'm enjoying it a lot more this time around. The bump in difficulty makes it feel much more strategic. It's reminding me a lot more of the original game now in that regard.
Going for the plat, so it should keep me busy until Christmas.
Could be Aggelos, Far Cry 6, Forgotton Anne, Hoa, It Takes Two, Olija, Sackboy, Speaking Simulator, The Missing, or the Ninja Saviors… the past few weeks, I’ve sort of taken it upon myself to stack a back catalog, I guess. Of course, that said, I may just play Halo Infinite, Animal Crossing, and Skyrim too.
Ah man I completely forgot it was my PS5’s first birthday yesterday and didn’t play on it at all 😔 I did buy it Demon’s Souls and Alan Wake Remastered in the sales 😃
Trying to gain some progress in Battlefield 2042 which I'm enjoying so far, despite its niggles
Halo 5 Guardians - trying to blitz campaign and multiplayer achievements before Infinite arrives
More Deathloop too - I love this game and trying to rerun and experiment for speed runs
Have a great weekend guys ❤
Tiny tina aod, got it free from epic games store, it's pretty good. I'm actually suprised that the music is great, it remind me of diablo 1 music, and it's making the game mood seems somber somewhat.
@Gloamin a game I'll never ever tire of playing !
Going to be Deaths Door when it drops next week!!!
I am tempted to start a dark souls 1-3 run ahead of Elden Ring. My PS4 backlog is massive however so I may end up taking advantage of less busy game release schedule and finish PS4 games that play better on the PS5. On PS5 side of things, I got the plat for Lost Judgement and Tales of Arise so thought I would maintain that momentum but the random nature of the survey trophies for Returnal which I completed recently are annoying. Might grab Outriders/Immortals Fenyx Rising but not sure those games would make me satisfied upon completion in terms of "epicness" even at that discount.
It's a JRPG weekend for me. Playing Tales of Arise on PS5 which has been really good so far. Also picked up Shining Pearl yesterday at Tesco for £20 (cheers clubcard vouchers).
Have a good one folks!
Bloodstained on One X, Trials of Mana on PS4 Pro and Waifu Discovered 2 on Switch. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Hopefully finish Guardians (just in time for the new ray tracing mode). Halo and Forza will be my chill/social games for the foreseeable future.
Just picked up Pikmin 3 deluxe on switch after enjoying the demo. Looking for other games on sale, thinking either hitman 3, Fenyx Rising, Divinity original sin 2, Tails of Iron or Maybe Tales of Arise if the demo is good.
Borderlands 3 Bounty of Blood DLC and an early night to get up at stupid o' clock for the Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter fight. Have a good weekend all!
I’ll be playing Lost Judgment for quite a few weekends I think.
Was hooked on Genshin Impact for about 6 hours yesterday! Made it to adventure rank 15.
At the end of the first Mass Effect in the Legendary Edition. It's alot clunkier than I remember. Can't wait to get started on the 2nd one. Completed Dead Space 2 on Game Pass. The FPS boost makes it feel like a new game. Onto the Severed DLC next. On ps5, I might continue with Deathloop but to be honest, I've kinda bounced off it a bit. Hasn't grabbed me as much as I thought it would.
I’ve been spending the morning traversing snowy mountains, delivering some medical supplies to a pregnant woman, and some photographs to someone else...yes, I’ve been playing Death Stranding (DC)! The game was a looker anyway on PS4, but on PS5 it’s absolutely stunning. I easily lose hours at a time walking and climbing this beautiful, desolate landscape.
Finishing final main story missions in AC:Origins. Didn’t enjoy it as much as Odyssey, story never really grabbed me until it was nearly done. After playing Ghosts of Tsushima I think Origins was always bound to disappoint. Excited to start Jedi Fallen Order and Sackboy which I picked up on sale. Xavi’s first game at the helm (Barca Derby as well) and Inter v Napoli also on the agenda. Have a great weekend everyone.
2nd playthrough of Guardians of the Galaxy, and went back to finishing Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. Also playing Pokemon Brilliant Diamond in the mornings and late at nights when in bed. I also plan on playing some Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl tomorrow.
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk Time has flown by so quickly. I can't believe it has been a year since i have had my ps5! I can still remember waiting for DPD to arrive with it. Checking the app to see how far he was from me. Good times.
Picked up ac oydessy’s gold edition for 20 quid - base game with season pass that also includes 3 and liberation remastered. Stupidly good deal.
COD Vanguard (PS5)
Genshin Impact (PS5)
Dirt 5 (PS5)
Metroid Dread (Switch)
Slowly recovering from a nasty ear infection which has made me feel as though a jackhammer has been in my left ear for several days. So I am staying in my comfort zone of ESO and taking in the sights.
Horizon zero dawn complete edition and days gone 2 of the best ps4 exclusives.2 of the best protagonist ever.2 great stories .gameplay.and both games have amazing graphics.watching martin.good times.the Jeffersons.saved by the bell. Krs one vs big daddy kane battle im almost done with this masterpiece performance by 2 of the best ever mcs.watching my 💛Pittsburgh Steelers🖤.win tomorrow night on Sunday night football 🏈.word up son
Started Guardians Of The Galaxy last night, 2 hours in at this point. The combat is OK (although I imagine it gets better once you unlock more skills) but the writing and performances are great.
I'm going to jump back in in a minute.
Other than that - some Guilty Gear as usual.
Picked up Tetris Effect on digital sale so I'll have tetriminos dancing in my mind day and night for the foreseeable future.
And I am to my surprise quite enjoying Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning. A traditional fantasy RPG with loads of charm and depth. Sort of like Witcher (without all the gore and sexual violence) meets Fable, with Darksiders-esque combat and loads of interesting weapons and magic. Bit rough around the edges as it is an older game with a new lick of paint, and can a guy get a jump button?? But I highly recommend to anybody inclined towards a good high fantasy RPG or novel. Writing and acting are above-average and its world is colorful and full of character. Happy weekend all and happy gaming!
I randomly started playing Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth and now I can't stop. I'm in the middle of grinding to get Wargreymon and Beelezemon.
Finished Mass Effect 3 last night (well, around 2 in the morning!) and what a ride it was, the last few hours were a brilliant ending to a truly epic trilogy. I'm going to miss Garrus, Tali, Liara, Joker and the rest of MY crew.
Paragon, FemShep, Soldier.
Next time....
Paragon, FemShep, Soldier lol.
What next? I have AC Valhalla but it's still not clicked with me, maybe it's time I made it my 'main'. I suspect though that despite owning a PS5 since early July, I'm set to start my first proper PS5 title in the shape of R&C Rift Apart. Keeps the sci-fi vibe going but obviously with something a lot lighter but just as fun.
Have a good one, folks!
I think I give Demon Souls a go on my shiny new PS5.
@MortalKombat2007 Cheers and enjoy!
@RiceC03 even better now there’s been a 60fps patch! Let’s hope they do the same for Origins.
Returnal going for the secret ending but keep dying on biome 3 from endless flying drones. Waiting on Demon souls and Kena in the post but postman seems to be awol. Tempted by ratchet and clank on the black friday deals might get that
I've completed Halo 1 Anniversary. Started on Halo 2 Anniversary. On the PlayStation front been playing a Little Nightmares 2 and TLOU2.
I’ve ordered myself the physical edition of Kena: Bridge of Spirits, which is due to arrive today. So I’ll be playing that and continuing my playthrough of the excellent Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, where I’m around halfway through.
[EDIT] Kena arrived today, so I’ll be getting around to that tomorrow with any luck!
Got the Platinum in Far Cry 6 and contemplated buying the Heisenberg skins because I’ve just rewatched the entire series of Breaking Bad for the first time in years (amazing show). I’ve started watching Better Call Saul too for the first time and I’m completely hooked.
I didn’t get the Heisenberg skins in the end but it was weird that they showed up in the store just as I finished re-watching the series.
Also, started playing Kena Bridge of Spirits but I’ve only played about 30 minutes. Good so far.
Oh boy, a busy weekend for me. Currently replaying Tomb Raider (2013), and later I'll jump into Necromunda: Hired Gun. Fantastic shooter, and the Mastiff is super cute.
Sunday however, I reserved some time for Digimon Next: World Order 😎
Probably finish off Mafia 3, trying to decide whether to go for the platinum. That would probably involve one or more speedrun playthroughs and I'm not sure I can be arsed.
Cyberpunk arrived in the mail this week, but I'm hoping to save that until the native PS5 version releases. Tempted to give Amalur a go seeing as I missed it first time around, but also Islanders and John Wick Hex are both on by wishlist, and I could buy them both for less than £10...
@The_Pixel_King
Waiting on Kena also if it ever arrives. Also the other game ur playing Im a big fan of as u can tell
I finished Far Cry 6 this week along with the Vaas dlc. Really enjoyed it probably my second favorite behind Far Cry 4! I'm shocked how much I enjoyed the Vaas dlc too considering its Rogue-like. Honestly the first Rogue-like I think I ever actually...liked.
Probably going to be giving my Playstation a rest for the foreseeable future though as I play Trails in the Sky 3 and Halo on PC. I'll be back after I finish Trails though.
Diablo 2 and I started playing a bit of Xenoblade Chronicles 1 on Switch 💅🏻
a local retailer f€cked up the price discounts and I managed to get 10 games for just 60€ before they restored them. Some of them are dragon quest XIS for 5€, watchdogs legion for 10€, total war warhammer 2 limited edition for 2€. I won't be playing any tho cause midterm exams :/
Nearly finished Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Great game and I've thoroughly enjoyed it, but part of me will be relieved when it's over!
Also hoping to finish A Way Out this weekend. Good game, if a little daft, plot-wise.
@kyleforrester87 The Christmas hat is out! Is it that time already?
@Gremio108 I’m afraid so buddy, and I’m here to spread some seasonal cheer
Got a PS5 during the week, completed Astrobot during the week for my first PS5 platinum, now playing Returnal and Demon Souls.
Just got my first PlayStation console (PS4) last weekend after being a Nintendo fanboy all my life. Playing through TLoU2 right now and loving every second of it.
I might also make a start on Resi Village.
I’ll be jumping back into The Persistence, maybe trying to get some more online wins in Wreckfest and progressing Control. Alongside that I’ll be deciding what to buy from the PS store sale 🤔
I’m nearing the end of Alan Wake Remastered. I always found Alan Wake character model weird but couldn’t place why but I think I figured it out he has a ostrich neck.
Having cleaned up Far Cry 6 for the platinum I picked up Deathloop on black Friday, great game so far, it is just all starting to click. So tense trying to get back with good gear and residium! I can now see why it is a GoY contender.
@dBackLash Welcome to the dark side Great game to start out on and I loved Resi but do make God Of War a priority, absolutely awesome!
Started Guardians of the Galaxy last night. Enjoying the heck out of it so far!
I'm going for the platinum trophy in Tales of Arise this weekend. I'll miss Alphen and his silly bunch!
Halo and forza
@meistergeister but what about this weekend!?!
@CynicalGamer I loved Immortals. It’s very satisfying in the classic Ubisoft, clear the map fashion
@Nf157 I was tempted to play the demo first! Seems smart, even though everybody is my gaming circles recommends it 🙃
@BertMan666 how come, I’m got it in my basket, due to the Black Friday sale! I thought deathloop was a sure thing
Was gonna wrap up AC Valhalla, 135 hours and level 469, but now I am into power levels and I realized I did not do the Siege of Paris DLC so started that. Great villain and more classic AC with stealth and assassinations, pretty fun so far. Also having fun with the current Oskoreia Festival. Probably keep playing for a while. Very interested in many of the Black Friday deals, so deciding on what to dive into next.
@Tsushima R&C is amazing, but you can platinum it without 100% completing.. and personally I haven’t found any replay value.
I paid £70 for it, but maybe your thoughts will differ if you getting a discount
@render I tried to play the enhanced version… but it really felt like it’s designed for VR only, feels low budget on a screen without a headset..
I don’t have PSVR, so can’t compare the 2 versions
Despite me mouthing off about there not being a physical copy upon its release, I succumbed and bought Psychonauts 2 in the end and started playing properly last night. Wow ! even better than the 1st one.
I'll give it another go after the football today.
Wadda great game !
im still recovering from a broken (dominant) right hand so gaming is limited but possible with RTS and point and click games.
Just finished The Banner Saga - wow, what a story and i got a bleak as hell ending that haunts me.
Also just started first couple hours of House of Ash and am enjoying. it feels like SuperMassive coming close back to the quality of Until Dawn finally.
More Far Cry 6, moving on to the final missions. Curry's waiting list came up trumps this week, so I have a PS5 on its way to me. I'll be browsing the black Friday sales for bargain PS5 games, at last
@NateGoesLive I don't really know. Like, I know it's a good game. Just seems like it's missing something. Maybe it's because I came onto it straight after finishing Returnal. Who knows. I'm gonna have a break from it and come back to it. I'm sure it'll click!
@NateGoesLive You can definitely tell it’s made for VR first but there’s still a good game underneath. What makes it slightly frustrating is the walking speed and not being able to run!
There’s that King of Fighters 15 beta. I should try that.
@Mostik thanks for the recommendation, was looking forward to God of War already.
Just fooling around with Deathhoop. Trying to get to grips its confusing enough; for now nicely optimised for PS5 though right down to DS features the design is great too looks incredible. You can't beat Arcane studios.
@NateGoesLive @NateGoesLive
Best offer I can find is £35 for Ratchet, good deal?
Still playing Persona 3 Portable, and I was planning on getting started with Yakuza Kiwami 1. Might find another game to get started on as well.
@SystemAddict - Gotta love accidental typos! Deathhoop sounds like a wild night with Dennis Rodman.
Playing tales of arise this weekend. I am really enjoying it so far.
@render fantastic, i love The Persistance, such an underrated game and tough but addictive. Are you playing in VR or flatscreen?
@ThorsHammer Unfortunately only on a flat screen so I’m definitely missing out on some of the experience. The confined spaces and small FOV already create that feeling of dread and claustrophobia and I can imagine it would be even better in VR. Did you play in VR?
Stealing hearts as a phantom thief and razzing around an empty but pretty Hawaii.
Mainly Disciples: Liberation (such a good game), but hoping to get a chance to play a bit of Forza Horizon 5 too...
1 The last of us (ps5) ! 2 some more Demons souls (ps5) 3 cod vanguard not that trash warzone (ps5) 4 maybe some more Halo infinite on (PC) not the best Halo !
Nearing the end of Sherlock Chapter One which has been great fun despite its flaws. The open world, whilst visually alluring, is rather empty and has led to rather too much random wandering, the combat isn’t bad but it’s also rather pointless and the cloned inhabitants of Córdona show the games limitations but the writing is solid, the cases erratic but fun and it’s a huge improvement over the decidedly tepid Devil’s Daughter.
Other than that I’m enjoying the double surprise gems that are Epic Chef and The Wild at Heart both of which are delightfully charming and a nice change of pace after Platinuming Returnal, Deathloop, Kena and Guardians.
Nothing overly enticing on the horizon so it’ll probably be a huge movie bonanza over Christmas with some great boutique label releases incoming
I was playing The Last Stand Aftermath until my save corrupted. Waiting on a patch before starting again. I was enjoying it up until that point 🙂
Finished off my playthrough of Resident Evil 3 Remake and thought it was fantastic. Now I’m jumping back into 13 Sentinels which I had abandoned, so I’m going to see if it clicks this time. Might also do a new PS5 game, maybe Rift Apart.
I've played some control today and have been really enjoying it! Performance mode on ps5 looks great and haptics are subtle but nice. Played some of the halo infinite multiplayer yesterday. Online shooters are not normally my jam but it's a hell of a lot of fun!! The grappling hook in that game is tight. Finally got back into Luigis mansion 3 on switch. I still find the movement is off in that game but really enjoying the puzzles and variety of environments. Controversial but may be the best looking switch game ive played. Have a good weekend folks!
@Tsushima if your UK based and have a club card, it's £25 from tesco. Not played it so can't speak to the quality of it but seems like a decent deal.
@hypnotoad it's a hell of a game mate, fun gameplay, interesting art style and surprisingly decent writing. Enjoy!
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy
@fR_eeBritney I loved Breaking Bad, but I enjoyed Better Call Saul even more!
Still working my way through Dark Souls 2, still loving every second. Also showing my trusty PSP some love and playing R&C Size Matters. It's hamstrung somewhat by the PSP's limitations, but still good, clean fun 😁
Outriders..thought i'd give it a play after the update and the loot drops are so much better..cant say what the end game content is like as i'm not quite there but i'm enjoying it a lot more..bit of back 4 blood too..
@kyleforrester87 I'm all for it. Better find myself a festive avatar then
Series S: Halo Infinite (of course), Forza Horizon 5, Flight Simulator GOTY. I said it a while ago and Ill say it again. Xbox releasing these three titles the first year of the next gen is pure genious as these IPs are games I can play for the whole generation.
Nintendo Switch: Metroid Dread (unless my gf decides to kidnap my Switch to play the Pokémon Shield DLCs).
Ps5: Death Stranding DC.
With the black Friday sale going on on all platforms I'm considering buying Ghost of Tsushima DC, Tales of Arise and Monster Hunter Rise. R.I.P. Wallet.
Happy gaming everybody!
@LittleToyTitan Im considering buying Tales. Is it any good? Ive heard some of the trophies might be broken (which means Ill probably get it for xbox instead as I use my ps5 for platting).
WWE's Smackdown vs Raw.
WWE's Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth.
WWE's Smackdown vs Raw: 2011.
&
Mortal Kombat X.
Psychonauts 2 after getting the black Friday deal. Superb so far!
@thenewguy It's a really good JRPG, so if you like the genre, you're probably in for a treat. No broken trophies whatsoever. To be honest, I never had an issue with any trophy in any game ever, even the so called 'broken' ones. Most of the times it's just a misunderstanding of the unlock conditions.
@render i started it before i sold off the PSVR, so played the first half within that mode. its defintely more intense and imersive (espcially crawling through the dark vents at the end of level one), but i switched to flat screen at the midpoint - i need snapturning to avoid nausea but it really hampered reaction times in tough situations - tbh i enjoyed it just as much in flat, plus it helps approach the combat in a stragetic manner. your pretty much just missing out a little on scare factor but thats it. hav fun with it, one of last gens most overlooked for sure
Forza Horizon 5 (PC)
COD Vanguard (PS5)
Shin Megami Tensei 5 (Switch)
Sword and Fairy 7 (PC)
But in reality, it is just a lot of Forza 5 😅
Also, SMTV shows how much hardware can limit enjoying the Art in a game. Scarlet Nexus post-apocalyptic sections and Tales really made you feel like being in an Anime. There is so much shimmering and jaggy on my 50TV it is just killing what the Digital Artist created for SMTV. Last night I had cables that were just dashes... that is how low the resolutuion got.
@Nf157
Divinity id an absolute banger of a game - can’t go wrong with it.
@NateGoesLive busy busy busy so this weekend playing a real boring game called ‘ the game of life’ hehe
@R1spam Luigi's Mansion 3... canNOT get into aiming that bloody vacuum, and I want to like that game so much. My progress has been halting because of that ridiculous control scheme. Not sure there's a better one, but that ain't it!
@The_Pixel_King yeah I think I agree with you. I tried getting into BCS when the first season originally aired but I thought it was too slow. Gave up after 2-3 episodes until now. Being able to binge watch all 5 seasons back to back makes all the difference. It is a bit slower than BB but the payoffs are huge and definitely worth the wait. Just started watching season 4 and it seems to go from strength to strength. Great series.
@thenewguy There were some collectibles believed to be locked into certain areas you only get one chance to play through. It's not true, those collectibles show up later, even if you miss them in the one shot dungeons.
Ni No Kuni. I need to craft like 8 recipes and it is a GRIND.
Hi there fellow gamers.
So yesterday I celebrated my PS5 first year, since November 19 was the launch date in Portugal, by playing some PS5 games, like Demon´s Souls, Returnal, Sackboy A Big Adventure, Devil May Cry 5 Special edition and Rachet and Clank Rift Apart.
Man, do I love Returnal. And my PS5. And the Dualsense.
Anyway, this weekend I´m going to play on PS5:
Maybe @Voltan and @shonenjump86 would like to join for friendly bouts 👍
On PC, more Forza Horizon 5. Such a beautiful and fun game.
And on Switch the fantastic Metroid Dread.
I got the game on a Black Friday sale along two other games Switch games. Wich are still wraped in the plastic because I can´t seem to stop playing Metroid Dread. That game is GOOD!
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
Shin Megami Tensei V 🤫
@lolwhatno Hi there friend.
Days Gone. The PS4 exclusive that some people like to disdain, but secret love. Or at least I hope, since the game is great.
And on PS5, in glory 60 fps? Even better.
Really enjoyed the game on my base PS4 and will eventualy do a new game plus playtrough on PS5 and nab the Platinum trophy. Glad your enjoying it as well.
And yes, give Prey a try.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
@RaZieLDaNtE I haven't downloaded the KOF beta yet but I watched some people playing it on Twitch and to be honest I'm not a big fan so far.
I could be persuaded into playing a few matches tomorrow though.
@Col_McCafferty Hi there friend.
Didn´t I told you how awesome the Mass Effect trilogy is?
And now you know why so many people, like your´s truly, love this series so much. And why, even after Andromeda, wich is still a good game, I´m quite excited for a new Mass Effect game. Love this franchise way to much 😜
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
@fR_eeBritney @The_Pixel_King Hi there friends.
I know it´s not the topic, but is Better Call Saul really that good?
Breaking Bad is one of the best series I saw, even if the first season was not that great.
But that season finale though.... The pay off was great. The El Camino movie is pretty good to.
That´s why I´m asking if BCS is worth it or not.
Cheers, stay safe you two and thanks in advance.
@Voltan What didn´t grab you? The gameplay? Characters?
I´m not very good at KOF, even tough I´ve been a fan since KOF99, but I´ve always enjoyed it.
We´ll do some matches, see if your going to like this one.
Cheers, stay safe and all the best
@RaZieLDaNtE I think it just doesn’t look as fun as Guilty Gear. Reminds me of SFV which I didn’t get into either.
I also think the last KOF I played was ‘98
@RaZieLDaNtE Hey buddy! Have you not watch BCS yet? As far as I’m concerned, yes, it really is worth it. It’s a bit slower than Breaking Bad, but the story is so good and you’ll learn to hate Chuck as much as you’ll love Jimmy (Saul). Seriously, watch a couple episodes and give it a chance.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend 🙂
@RaZieLDaNtE Yes definitely. It takes its time with its characters and plot (it isn’t just hanging on the coattails of BB). It feels confident in being its own series, even though the two do begin to overlap. I struggled a bit with the first season but stick with it if you can. It will be worth it. One thing I really like is how all the characters are multi-dimensional. You’ll hate certain characters one minute but also feel sorry for them. Bob Odenkirk is great as Jimmy/Saul. His transition from Jimmy to Saul is fun to watch and very natural/believable. There are a lot of BB characters with recurring roles. I’m honestly just enjoying seeing how things worked pre-Heisenberg. And how certain partnerships came to be. It’s crazy to think how much Heisenberg messed things up for everyone in BB. So yes, definitely give it a chance and enjoy the rest of your weekend 🥳
Still Dark Souls 3. Closing in on the platinum. Then onto Sekiro for a second playthrough and platinum wrap up. Then I'll have all the Souls platinums ready for when Elden Ring comes out in February.
@RaZieLDaNtE sounds fun, but I currently don’t own a PS5 at the moment for KOF. 😞 had to get the demo on PS4.
Halo all the way
hittin up Kena finally out on disc yesterday and loving it so far
On PlayStation Im just about finished with the second play through of Jedi Fallen Order. Just as fun the second time. On Xbox a bit if Forza Horizon 5 and a bit of Halo Infinite Multiplayer. Good to have some comfort food gaming.
Hunt Showdown, Persona 5 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint!
@RaZieLDaNtE Oh better call Saul is brilliant mate, I couldn't get into it when it first came out, but gave it another go a year or so. I think the first season is a bit slow but once you get through it it's brilliant so yes I would highly recommend it.
I see Shantae SS and Pathless are on sale. Usually I wait til at least 50% off but I don't think I can resist this one! So that may be my weekend.
@Daleaf I started watching BCS BEFORE BB and maybe this is why I love it. There's a lot more humour in the first two seasons of Saul than the latter seasons of BB. It also helps that I pretty much love Kim Wexler. 😍
Started R&C Rift Apart, what an incredibly fun and pretty game. Perfect game to follow-up the epic ME 3.
Death Stranding Director’s Cut on PS5, I bought last week and have really been enjoying it. I’m not much of a Kojima fan, but I’ll give him the credit on this one, it’s one of the most unique games I’ve ever played.
@Col_McCafferty I would definitely put BCS an BB on par both equally great in different ways. When I first started to watch BCS I still had BB fresh in mind so couldn't quite get into it but, when I started it again once 4 season was out I binged it and couldn't get enough lol. Oh and Kim wexler also helped lol.
Hope you enjoy the rest of r&c I really enjoyed it, really great graphics, and the plat was pretty straight forward.
@Daleaf @fR_eeBritney @The_Pixel_King Hey there friends!
Thank you for your feedback. I apreciate it 👍
Acording to you all, BCS is, in a way, just like BB. Kinda slow at the start, but then it gets better and better. Cool.
I know wich show I´m going to watch as soon as I finish the sixth season of Mad men. I usualy don´t gravitate much to prequels and maybe that´s why I wasn´t interested before.
But you guys convinced me.
Cheers, stay safe y'all and all the best
@shonenjump86 Hey friend.
If I´m not mistaken the KOF XV Oped Beta is Cross Play on PS4/PS5. Wich means we can get some matches.
My PSN is RaZieLDaNtE_1984.
As for the PS5, you will get one eventualy. Maybe even this Christmas.
Then you´ll see the beatiful visuals, feel the power of the DualSense and the speed of the SSD, while playing Astro´s Playroom as your first PS5 experience. Absolutely worth it.
Cheers, stay safe and see you on KOF online. Have a good one
Not much time to play this WE.
But if i game it will be on Assassin's Creed Valhalla, The Siege of Paris DLC, it's the only one that remains to be finished in this title.
I'm preparing for next week to change the cooling on my GPU and CPU in my PC (moving from air cooling to liquid AIO on both of them + some RGB). I ordered all the parts and now i'm gathering as much know-how as i can before the big day.
Also looking into adding some RGB stripes behind my monitor/TV (LG CX 48"). Found some cool Phanteks Neon stipes of 1m and 55cm, that have a very nice price/quality ratio, and seem to fit very nicely behind the sides of the screen without the need to cut them.
Anyway, those will take up the rest of my free time this WE.
@Hootnoodle - Damn, hope it doesn't have a negative impact on your hearing, I had a really bad ear infection back in February 2019, and since then my hearing has been on a massive decline, the hearing in my right ear fluctuates between near deaf or just okay all the time, I also have tinnitus now (Constant humming, clicking or ringing in one or sometimes both ears), and have developed vertigo as a result of the hearing loss & tinnitus. All because of one ear infection as a result of going swimming at my local swimming pool, haven't gone swimming since.
@JustPlainLoco wow that some mighty fine bad luck. I'm on the mend now thankfully, and hearing has been restored. I'm sorry about the tinnitus.
@Col_McCafferty Great minds, and all that 😄 — I also started Rift Apart this weekend. Enjoying it too, although it’s a little overwhelming at first. I can definitely appreciate the PS5 tech while playing it!
GTA definitive edition trilogy. starting out with GTA 3, loving it, and playing Dark Souls 3 as well.
@RaZieLDaNtE I appreciate that, I’ll have to add you.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, Kena - Bridge of Spirits
Jumped back into Ni No Kuni 1 after never finishing it years ago. Had to start over since I got the PS4 version and originally started it on PS3.
Also, trying to wrap up Golf Story on the Switch and finish the last episode of The Walking Dead: Season 1. Similar to Ni No Kuni, played it on PS3 but I got the later seasons on PS4 so had to replay the first one before jumping back in.
Might take a few rounds through in New Pokemon Snap too.
Still playing thru Kena: Bridge of Spirits, made it to the Shrine Guardian on Master Spirit difficulty.
Trying demons souls remake first time and trying not to rage quit lol. Watching ton of YouTube videos to help. Tales of arise, Mafia 2, Scarlett Nexus, Odinsphere.
