Ah, the weekend! There'll be no chocolate eggs this time — unless you were smart and saved some from last week — but there will be video games galore. At least, for all of us at Push Square Towers there will be.
Sammy Barker, Editor
I'm cheating on PlayStation this weekend to continue my playthrough of Earthbound, a game I knew next to nothing about besides it legendary status. I'm only about a quarter of the way through, but I can already see why it's held in such high esteem.
Stephen Tailby, Associate Editor
This weekend, I will be playing The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. I can't give you any more than that, but you can read my thoughts on the game when the review hits next week.
Liam Croft, Assistant Editor
I've finished Horizon Forbidden West (finally) so it's time to move on to something new. I started Lost in Random, so I think I'll continue playing that.
Jamie O'Neill, Reviewer
PS4 Slipstream has been recommended to me by three different people — with a Resort Islands track breezily recalling 1986's OutRun, skimming behind traffic to surf the slipstream and corner drifting like in OutRun 2, as well as a graphical comparison to the more advanced Super Scaler road effects in 1993 arcade gem OutRunners — there's no way I'd resist this retro-style racer.
What are you playing this weekend, then? It's definitely a slow period for new releases, so plenty of time to dig into your backlog or revisit an old favourite.

Gonna start on GTA V, I somehow never got around to it in the past decade, lol
Just started Arkham Knight. Runs so much smoother than the first two games. I’m having a blast dive bombing off every tall building 😎😎😎
COD Vanguard (PS5), Horizon (PS5) and just bought COD Cold War (PS5).
I'm Planning To Platinum Both Tales Of Berseria and Zestiria Back To Back
I've spent all morning trying to find my copy of "Fight Night Champion" to play as we wait for tonight's main event. I know it's around here somewhere. Other than that I'm going to be trying out "Divinity Original Sin".
Still playing the PS1 cult classic The Legend Of Dragoon via PS3.
I haven't made as much progress as I'd have liked though sadly and it'll be back to work teaching on Monday 😥
I'm on disc 2 now at least (having just reached the Valley Of Corrupted Gravity) and i'm still having a tonne of fun with the game.
Have a good weekend everyone!
@Ristar24 I just wanted to give you a shout-out here, and say cheers for recommending PS4 Slipstream to me, bud. I especially want to give a nod to your comparison to the impressive scaling effects in SEGA's 1993 arcade game OutRunners, as I mentioned the reference point you made in my WAYP above.
Also, cheers to Sammy for letting me know about this game, because he suggested it after I read his recent Push Square Mini Review.
It was chatting to my mate about the slipstream mechanics in PS3 OutRun Online Arcade — with gameplay as you know that was based on the OutRun 2 series of releases — which was another solid reference point.
It was cool to hear a retro themed racer like Slipstream being mentioned by three separate recommendations. I knew about Blitworks as a publisher already, because of PS4 Fight'N Rage, but I'd not heard of developer Ansdor before, so I've learned something new.
A little Bravely Deafult 2 😬🤷♂️
Finishing up Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise then, if I manage that, on to Tales of Arise.
Post game on Death's Door, which is excellent. Just finished Kiryu's part in Yakuza 5 the man is an absolute beast, so onto Saijima next. I also picked up OlliOlli World for something different and it sure is addictive.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Close to getting 100% in Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga (and the platinum). Then I’ll be starting either Ghostwire Tokyo or Demon’s Souls. And playing a bit of Fortnite in between 😁
Still Elden Ring, with a little break occasionally to play some GT7.
I see people who have completed ER and have done it in less than 100 hours. I just dont know how you do that and see all the game, im over 100 hours and only taken two of the major bosses! Took me 135 hours to do HFW, looks like this one will take me over 200 hours. I guess its value for money!
After 140 hours im closing in on the elden ring platinum, just need to find some of the legendary gear. I may continue past that because I'm sure there's bits hidden away I've still not seen and done and the game is so good I really want to see it all. But if i do move on after the platinum ive got death stranding directors cut waiting for me.
Horizon Forbidden West about 55 hours played and still playing through errands and Main Mission. Ordered Sifu Vengeance Edition so looking foward to that with the praise it's got. Im also playing 13 Sentinels and Muramasa on the Vita
@thefourfoldroot how is the fist of the Northstar? I see it's only £7 so I might grab it.
PS5: Outer Wilds and some Genshin Impact dailies.
XSX: Lost in Random as well as finishing up the last bits of The Division 1. After that I will resume my journey through Witcher 3.
I recently completed Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. PushSquare's review was spot on in my opinion, 6/10. It was okay, but I was honestly expecting some else from this "new" IP. In the end it was just a fat-trimmed Tiny Tina-skinned version of Borderlands 3. Not necessarily a bad thing but I was just under the impression it was going to be different.
Some might remember I recently got 100% completion on AC Odyssey which I did on Series X. Well, Stockholm syndrome has kicked in and I miss Kassandra so I've decided to do it all over again on the PS5 and earn my 100th platinum trophy. Have a good weekend all!
Not much this weekend,maybe bit of gt7 and snooker 2019 and that's about it as I'm off to the btcc racing tomorrow at donnington Park ,have great weekend everyone
Managed to clean up the Platinum on Elden Ring, and also get all the new trophies from the DLC-release on Returnal… been a stressful week!
Having a break from PS, in lieu of starting Horizon Zero Dawn, so have moved to Switch for this week coming (am travelling, so this is my only means of gaming)
Trying out Dead Cells, which I hear is a nice mix of Hades/Returnal… both of which I loved!
I will play these games tonight. 😄
1. Dance Dance Revolution 5th Mix PS1
2. Epic Chef PS4
These are my games order that have been arrived just now.
Long time no play DDR 5th Mix.
First time i will try Epic Chef on PS4.
I'm grinding some levels for Yakuza:Like a Dragon before finishing the final level. Apart from that I may go back to HFW.
Rest of Far Cry 6... boring tbh... and then chernobylite enhanced in Performance Mode.
Unfortunately, this weekend I'm all about saving money since I spent a lot with my boyfriend lmao! However, I'm planning on getting Horizon: FW soon and Digimon Survive at launch.
@Shigurui Bro, that's mental. I loved Kassandra too, but doing it all over again so quickly is crazy. You're looking at like 70 hours something for the platinum.
I completed Odyssey on XSX quite recently as well and I am now patiently waiting for that sweet 60 fps patch for Origins that Ubisoft promised us.
Ys 8 : lacrimosa of Dana on Ps. Very good action rpg. Don't think I will go for the platinum though since you need to finish it on the hardest difficulty and I'm usually not good enough for that, but that's fine. On Xbox I'm playing Lost in random, dun Tim Burton style game. The combat is a bit different and I need to get used to it, but it's fun.
Bit of Assetto corsa competizione id imagine. Frustrates the hell out of me tho. Maybe sole lego starwars and some judgment to de-stress afterwards.
@Shigurui I've been debating that as well with some games I finished on my Xbox to replay them again for the platinum. Ac Odyssey is certainly one of them, by far my favorite ac game.
@MightyDemon82
Fantastic. If you like Yakuza games you’ll like it. Combat can be a bit tedious but items can reduce that. Fun plat.
Still Elden Ring and GT7.
Moss II and Stranger of Paradise are waiting, Salt and Sacrifice is on the way. I need to look for a few more lore collectibles in Horizon Forbidden West...
Haven't had this many great games on the go at once since the PS1 days.
After 154hrs(still only defeated 3 main bosses but finished a lot of side bosses) I'm just amazed at the world From has managed to craft in Elden Ring faaaccckk! Bloodborne feels like 1/10th the size of ER. And if you beat this game in less than 150hrs, chances are you've skipped like 80% of the game, using guides and online summons which to me would kill the whole purpose or enjoyment. If you're an open world fan you must play ER no excuses.
Plus of course the lovely Horizon Forbidden West which is also an absolute joy to play. Just love how the bows and weapons in general have been designed this time around. I'm amazed at the size of HFW's world but it's just shocking what ER went and did with world design.
Nioh 2 with all the dlcs.wow what a game.extremely fun and addictive.the odachi sword is the way to go on nioh 2.got a fire sword.paralyzed sword.and also a water and lighting sword.graphics looks really good on my ps4 pro.story is cool also.and got myself a brand new ps4 red controller. Looks amazing.so i will be having fun with my red ps4 controller.watching the nba playoffs.its been fun. Watching the movie the night house watching whats happening.good times.sanford and sons.the Jeffersons.saved by the bell.and martin.word up son
Elden Ring and Genshin
@thefourfoldroot Ok you've convinced me. Playing Yakuza 5 at the moment I love these games.
@MightyDemon82
Yakuza 5 is my favourite! Enjoy.
@b1ackjack Astral Chain is awesome, hard to believe that the same company made Babaylon"s Fall. They should just stick to Bayonetta, Astral Chain or finish Scalebound
Continuing with Horizon. It's gotten better after the very slooooow beginning. Honestly I don't think I have seen a slower start to a game since Kingdom Hearts 2! Thankfully though it's clicking a bit more for me now where I'm at and while some of my issues remain the combat at the very least has kept me going.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Web slinging feels great again.
The last of Kirby, gt7 and everybody’s golf
Pushing on with GT7, it might be the last week of the Tomahawk tuning glitch...besides grinding that, i'll be trying to beat the last two human comedy missions
I’m currently making my way through Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age. Really enjoying it and the graphical downgrade is barely even noticeable. Gotta be one of my favourite game worlds to explore too. It’s just so bright and colourful.
On the PlayStation side... Horizon: Forbidden West (PS5).
I finally got the Rivers of Blood in Elden Ring and it really lives up to the hype. My bleed build isn't even that good and it shreds bosses. Plus it makes me feel like I'm playing Bloodborne and that's always great.
Replaying The Last of Us to prepare for the upcoming HBO show! Happy gaming everyone!
@Adol_Xin
I literally picked this up for the first time when it got it's ps5 patch a little while ago. Came here to say I'd probably be finishing GTAV off this weekend. Its a blast mate not sure how I didn't get round to it earlier
PS5
Returnal
Moved back to this one and was able to wrap the fourth biome without much stress. Now the fifth enviroment is really kicking my ass. At least theres no boss in it, but yh...tough. The light is at the the end of tunnel, I'm in the last quarter, hopefully I can finish this week, as naive as that sounds.
PC Game Pass
Outriders
Convinced a mate to co op this with me and what a blast. Love the mechanics and the tough but fair action thats like Gears of War mixed with Infamous. Really enjoying the grind so far, although at the halfway point i worry the campaign will get repetitive, for now, im having a ton fun.
Quest 2
Tetris Effect
Gave this one a random spin and its a really addictive twist on an age old formula. Its really cool how theyve taken the aesthetics of a rhythem game and combined it with tetris without comprimising its core appeal...in fact it adds to it more then anything.
@Relygon - Hah, I know it sounds mad but I actually started Odyssey on PS4 and gave up on it because the horrific load times completely ruined the game for me, I have a save file from 2019 that's 40% done trophy wise (main game, excluding dlc) so it won't take too long for the platinum.
My Xbox run clocked in at exactly 190 hours but I went all the way to level 99 and cleaned up every single thing in the game, this time it'll just be 100% trophy completion.
@Lavalera - Go for it, I don't replay many games on both systems but I have a few that I've done, short stuff like Bayonetta and Mark of the Ninja. Rarely would I play a 100+ hour game again. Right with you on Odyssey, AC Brotherhood and Unity were my favourites until ACO came along.
Playing Elden Ring, unsurprisingly. I say 'playing' but I've just spent this morning glitch farming the sleeping dragon next to Fort Faroth - went from level 48 to 73 in an hour!
Nobody Saves the World primarily. Phenomenal game so far. Also may jump into undertale. Trying to play ps now games more since there's no guarantee what will remain in on the platform in 2 months.
Well shoot guess Undertale was taken off PS Now back in January.
@gingerfrog Thats great to hear! Really looking forward to it!
After playing the first season of The walking dead it has rekindled my love for the series so I've started to marathon the show rewatching all season, which I haven't done before. Apart from that I might play some Monster Hunter Rise here and there, still collecting monster crowns, I've completed 18/43 so far, it takes an amount of time that tests my patience but the dopamine I get when I find the largest or smallest version of a monster is insurmountable. Wish me luck, next monster on the list is Barioth!
My other game which has been on permanent rotation ever since it was in early access is Slay the Spire, specifically the Downfall mod which is a fan made expansion which adds a new character, "The Hermitt" which I've been trying out and also a the "Downfall Mode" which allows you to play as EVERY boss in the base game. All I can say is this mod has more content than the actual game itself which is incredible, so anyone on pc should really check this out, it is a separate download so you don't need to worry about it screwing with the game, the only prerequisite is owning the base game. Wish there was some way this mod could come to consoles as it is the definitive way to experience Slay the Spire (400+ hours played).
Thanks for reading and have a good week next week😊😊😊
Horizon Forbidden West. This will probably be the final weekend as I'm ready to do the final story quest. I don't remember how many hours I'm at, but probably somewhere around 115. I'm not worried about getting 100% or getting the platinum, so I'll likely hang it up until there's DLC after I finish the story.
Once again, I'm working all weekend. I might be able to get a bit of Horizon FW in but it won't be till late.
@Shigurui Regardless, that’s some serious commitment. I applaud you, sir. Although, most Ubisoft open-world games tend to eat away your time.
Ubi gets a lot of crap for their open-world formula but for me it’s like hitting McDonald’s. You know exactly what you’re gonna get and even so you’re still likely to come back again for more at some point!
Watching the snooker, and playing some poker. With some elden ring when i get a chance love the game got a bit further this week but since the snooker is on i haven't played much so will be another week and a bit b4 i get back properly to it.
@KilloWertz Enjoy the finale. Let us know what you think over in the forum!
@Shigurui I did 100% in Odyssey a while back, and I miss Kassandra to this day. I'm playing the entire series (what is possible in PS4/5), on III now, and Kassandra is still my favorite protagonist, and game!!
I will continue Horizon FW, Assassin's Creed III, maybe more of Cyberpunk 2077. Started Crash Bandicoot 2 yesterday, already beaten the 2nd boss.
I'm still playing Kirby and the Forgotten Land, going to take me an entire weekend just to max out all my copy abilities...and I still need to finish the post-game worlds.
PS4-WWE 2K22, King of Fighters 15, and Persona 4 Arena.
Switch- Kirby and the Forgotten World, Atelier Ryza 2, and Mario Party Superstars.
I’m still playing Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands on the PS5. This might make people roll their eyes, but it could low-key be my GOTY (over Elden Ring, which I consider to be one of the greatest games ever made). The gun play and magic is fun; the side quests and characters you meet along the way are goofy and memorable; and the game is just funny as hell to me. Overall, everything just clicks for me and I don’t want the journey to end. Other than that, yesterday was my birthday so I’ll be celebrating with my fiancé, and some good friends and food this weekend.
Twisted Metal 2 (PS) - Still clearing all the characters endings, onto Warthog this weekend.
CarneyVale: Showtime (Windows Phone) - Just starting on this one.
ExZeus 2 (Windows Phone) - Still doing high speed runs.
GT7: PS5
F1 2021: SteamDeck
F1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix weekend 🏁 so all about racing 😁
Plan on finishing, and platinuming, Forbidden West. All I have to do is run through the final mission and I'll be all done.
Continuing my Ghostwire Tokyo play through, good game so far a bit mental at times!
Also blasting through my Amiga back catalogue, side loading on the A500 mini, IK+ is just brilliant, never noticed the spiders crawling on the tori gates in the back ground! Chase HQ is another classic I keep coming back to you!
@JamieO Hey, no worries, I'm still playing Slipstream! I did pick it up on PS4, but its become my go to game on the Switch Lite. There is a lot of OutRun 2 about it (even subtle things, like the way the screen slightly tilts when drifing through corners), and OutRun 2 is one of my favouite games of all time. Sadly I missed OutRun 2 online on PS3 before it was delisted, but I have the Xbox, PSP and PC versions. Slipstream passed me by until this console release, but I think its the best arcade racer I have played in a long time. I also really appreciate the SEGA references. Hope youre also enjoying the A500 mini, I'm waiting for them to add ADF files compatibility, then hopefully get the Lotus Turbo Challenge games working.
Finally picked up Little Nightmares on Switch this weekend, as was waiting for a sale. Also might play some C64 classics, one day I will beat the final level of Ocean's Platoon.
Ratchet and Clank (PS5) Just Cause 4 Moss Book 2 and if I'm in the mood more Kirby. I had to stop with Kirby for a little while as admittedly I was beginning to find some of the missions in the game needlessly annoying.
@thefourfoldroot
Tales of Arise is great. Combat is super smooth and story is pretty good. Ran a bit long in my opinion but fun overall.
>ENJOY!
Finishing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 this weekend, on the final chapter and having my mind blown away by the twists that are slowly being revealed to me.
Borrowed gran turismo 7 but can't get into it don't like sim racers but thought I'd give it a try. The gameplay is tedious so I'll be playing forza 5 & elden ring.
@MightyDemon82 No, you don't tell me what to do!
I definitely will. Maybe someday I'll go back and try to get the Platinum since I'll only be a few away after I finish the story, but I think I want to move onto something else rather than try to grind through the hunting grounds.
@strawhatcrew
Well, not as wacky (apart from it being a bit more fantasy genre focused I guess). It’s more over the top cartoon. Lots of blood. Not so much of the seedier stuff as in the earlier Yakuza games though, so a different tone. Overall the world and characters are fun for a one off game, but I don’t think the characterisation was strong enough to support a 6 game franchise for example.
The platinum trophy is not a completionist trophy in the western version, which is a bit disappointing.
Combat is probably more varied and fun, yet at the same time repetitive due to all the animations slowing things down.
I actually liked the racing, coliseum, cabaret, and other side tasks, but there is s bit of grinding to do.
If you like Yakuza you’ll like this ultimately. There is no weak point in my opinion.
Lego Star Wars. Quality entertainment.
Think I’m going to dive back into HFW….probably play WWE2k22 with my son.
Elden Ring is taunting me tho
@Nerdfather1 same for me…loving Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and it’s also in GOTY territory. Just plain FUN at every turn and so much to do, find, side quest and explore outside of the campaign. Plus the art direction of the many colorful worlds in just stunning. Reminds me a lot of Horizon Forbidden West, where yes you could zip through the campaign and it would be a fine game, but you miss like 80% of the fun of the world with the tons of side stuff. Also love the new T (for Tina) rating, a welcome change after the gore and edginess of the previous games. Very fun (and very funny) game that I don’t want to end
It seems i enjoy Battlefield 2042 again after checking out the latest update, the game slowly crawls towards a better place. At least on PS5. According to the increasing playercount lately i'm not the only one, so BF this weekend and probably the inevitable session of Skyrim VR as always..
@Fragile how far are you into elden ring? I found it really boring in the start, think it took about 15hrs for things to finally click for me, so id say if you are releativly early keep at it.
Gonna try Chernobylite for the ps5! Hope it’s good
@Fragile haha, yea keep going m8, i was literally same as you and nearly gave up, what i did was to givr it a good session, then after tgat i was hooked last friday played it for 10hrs couldnt put it down lol. The first area is kind of boring then i think it might be after the 2nd boss everything seemed to open up. Think im about 40hrs in now, znooker is holding me bavk atm but once ghats fone im bavk on it lol.
Finished Ghostwire: Tokyo and yeah, pretty much agree with this site's review, so much wasted potential.
I'm loving the Final fantasy 7 new threat mod. Any fans of the original game I would highly recommend trying it out. So many changes to the gameplay and story.
@Korgon My impressions of Horizon Forbidden West was the same, such a slow start the first 15 hours but then it really picked up and surpassed Zero Dawn. Everything a sequel should be, improved on a solid base but does its own thing aswell
127 hours into Elden Ring. The further in I get, the more hilarious it becomes that reviewers were essentially given a week to review this thing. It’s one meaty game.
@Lenny0521 Looks quite good, wonder if it has Metro or Stalker vibes. Might check it out aswell
I got my PS Vita two days ago. It's hacked to all hell, came preloaded with all sorts of stuff and I'm already enjoying it a lot! So:
On PS5: Mafia 2 (great game)
On Switch: Mario Bros Deluxe U (loving it)
On Vita: Darkest Dungeon (early into the game, but I can already tell it's going to kick my butt).
Enjoy your weekend guys!
Not playing anything this weekend..whilst playing golf yesterday afternoon after work i jolted my thumb and my elbow and both are a bit sore thus i am unable to move my right thumb stick properly..wont be out golfing for the next week or so..self inflicted for being stupid enough to try and make the shot so i dont warrant any sympathy..have a good weekend everybody..
I’ve been living in Fallout 4 GOTY for the past few weeks and this weekend is no exception.
Enjoy your 48 hour leave, and peace!
@PenguinL couldn’t either until I mainlined the campaign. It pulled me in after the first 5-7 hours.
At the beach till Sunday, so maybe some of House in Fata Morgana on my Switch, then when we return I’ll squeeze in some GT7 and tackle more Elden Ring. I’m also almost halfway through Shadow Warrior 3, having never finished the other 2.
Some Elden Ring on Xbox and Nobody Saves the World on Switch… Sorry PlayStation
@ORO_ERICIUS Yeah I put about 40 hours in Far Cry 6 but after 15 hour it was a total slug fest. I don’t know if I have the strength to platinum it
GT7, Ghostwire Tokyo, GRID: Legends and Saints Row The Third Remastered
@PenguinL Hang in there! The Horizon FW prologue/tutorial is super boring, but the rest of the game is great.
I am loving Nobody Saves the world! Great game by Drinkbox!
@thefourfoldroot wow thanks for the thorough feedback. maybe when I feel the itch to play another Yakuza type game, I'll do FotNS first to get it out of the backlog, then purchase Judgement afterwards.
PS4 = Ni No Kuni II
VITA = Persona 4 Dancing All Night
@strawhatcrew
I think it’s better than judgment (the story and stealth elements of which I thought were tedious) but I think I preferred Lost Judgment. You can’t really go wrong with these games though in all honesty.
@Kidfunkadelic83
Can I ask why AC frustrates you?
I keep toying with buying it but it might be too hardcore for me tbh
I’m really enjoying GT7 but that’s more if a “simcade” as they call it
@Hurblyburbly hey man. Dont get me wrong, ACC is a really good game and in some ways more forgiving than other racers as you have the position sensors telling you where the other cars are around you. I just make silly mistakes. The AI seems to be really well matched too making races pretty tight. As im only running 25 minute races if i spin out it usually means i will finish last. Id imagine its a tough game to play with a controller tho as they are more geared towards a wheel. Just something to bare in mind if you dont have one.
@Ristar24 Yep, I'm still enjoying playing my A500 Mini, thanks. Most recently I've been focussing on Alien Breed: Special Edition '92, Project-X and The Chaos Engine.
Apart from PS4 Slipstream — I refer to it as the PS4's Slipstream, because Capcom also had a SEGA System 32 arcade racer called Slip Stream/Slipstream in 1995 — I've been putting most of my spare gaming time into Alien Breed.
This is following last weekend's WAYP, where I've been really appreciating the work of Team17 and Bloober Team on the 2013 PS3 and PS Vita versions of Alien Breed, so I've been focussing on Classic Mode, but it's good to see an Enhanced Mode included, as well.
I think that programmer Steve Monks did great work on this PS3/PS Vita package of the 2D top-down Alien Breed games.
Good luck with your mission to one day beat the final level of Ocean's C64 Platoon, too!
@Kidfunkadelic83
Ok cheers for the insight. I’m not great either so sounds like the sort of thing I’ll do. Spin out once and come last! Lol
I’ll most likely buy it when it’s back on sale again as I bought a G29 wheel for GT7 so I’m looking for more racers to use it with.
@Hurblyburbly you could certainly do alot worse than Competizione although car classes are pretty limited yo G3 and G4.
F12021 should be pretty cheap by now with the new one announced. Thats a solid racer too.
@lets_do-this_1999 great thing the BTCC....I would love to see it. I enjoy myself with ETCC when I manage to steal some free time and the weather is ok for a motorcycle....
I played The Sinking City (again) this weekend.
Sekiro. Sold it 3 years ago because I sucked. Bought it last wednesday, already have 38 hours in it, and loving it.
@Kidfunkadelic83
Yeah I bought F1 2021 a couple of weeks back for like £12 or something. Haven’t played it yet tbh.
Just got Platinum 101 Elden Ring on PS4 my 3rd Fromsoft platinum to go with bloodborne and sekiro. Loved the game now to do it all again on PS5 when they unlock VRR
Assassins Creed Valhalla. Again. And probably next weekend as well. In fact, I’ll call you when I’m done, that makes things easier…
@gollumb82 I played a lot of Darkest Dungeon on my Vita. Hang in there. It gets better. And worse. I have mixed feelings for that game…
@JamieO Chaos Engine I've found quite difficult, 3 lives no continues, I've resorted to a few passwords online! Alien Breed, I have the Vita version too, used to like playing the enhanced version as worked well with twin sticks. Will spend some more time with the Mini, I really want them to update the Joystick controls though, having fire mapped to the right button means I can't use my 'The C64' Joystick. I do like the control pad included though. Still not beaten Platoon, but I did only finally finish 'The Great Escape' on the C64 in the last year or so, having never completed it back at the time!
@Martin_C
Yeah, I get the feeling that once I get to later levels it's going to be tough. So far I've made it through the Ruins and haven't lost anyone yet. I don't know why but I sense that when some characters die on me I'll be upset/sad which I didn't expect coming in. Overall, I really like the game, art style and oppressive atmosphere.
I’ve been working most of it, but I never got round to finishing God of War, so starting that again tonight.
Im jealous of Liam. It would be nice to experience Lost in Random all over again. I really enjoyed it.
Elden ring one of the best games I've ever played
