Wow! We've had an absolutely insane week, with PSVR2 getting dated and a bunch of games being announced. We don't know about you, but we're hoping to unwind this weekend with some of the great games that have been coming out.
Sammy Barker, Editor
I'm chained to God of War Ragnarok, much in the way the Blades of Chaos are to Kratos' arm. Nevertheless, I'd really like to find time to unwind with some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Aaron Bayne, Video Editor
This week I am combing my way through all the excellent side content in God of War Ragnarok, which will no doubt put my skills with the Leviathan Axe to the test.
Annette Magaña, Reviewer
I'm dusting off my PS3 to play for the first time the God of War Saga Collection. Boyyyyy!
A short and sweet WAYP to round out an intensely busy week, then. Of course, we're always eager to hear from you, so let us know what you're playing in the comments section below.

Still playing Elden Ring ... it is so damn good! Just beat Starscourge Radahn!
However, I will mix things up with one of the best games ever made ... Faxanadu for the NES!
Happy gaming everyone!!!
Well i'm playing gotham knights at a leisurely pace (not in a rush to complete it) and i'm rather enjoying it. In between that i'm jumping in a few rounds of mw2 tdm and i'm also setting up the rather nice new bass guitar my wife bought me for my 50th..not enough hours..have a good one folks 👍
I’ve been playing a few smaller indies of late… trying to keep my powder dry for Ragnarok. So a bit of Pyre, Sea of Solitude and The Return of the Obra Dinn.
Just finished Ys 9 yesterday. Played a few races In Hot Wheels Unleashed too. I don’t want to start anything new because I know I won’t finish it before Ragnarok comes out. Plus I’m working overnights this weekend so I’ll be comatose/tired when I am home so no gaming for me this weekend! Told my girlfriend she won’t exist to me once God of War comes out but I doubt I’ll even get much time to play it with my crap work hours. 😭
I have an urge to play Fantavision but can't think why.
Ghost Song which is really cool, most likely Shattered Remastered and maybe I'll wrap up The Medium.
Finished the really fun MW2 campaign so will mess about getting slaughtered online and also a bit of NBA 2k. With Ragnarok coming I don’t want to start any type of lengthy single player story based game. Already got it preordered and downloaded, very excited.
Still hooked on my 2nd run in Monster Hunter World, 102hrs. Can't wait to get Iceborne. Just love hunting and crafting, hunting and crafting because there's so much artistic gear and amazing monsters!
Back to the legendary Red Dead Redemption 2, continuing my 4th run which primarily focuses on exploration this time round. I fackin found the Moccasin Orchid, found 12 Dreamcatchers etc, no I won't use guides, never rushing this once in a blue moon masterpiece. I sometimes just sit back and admire the scenery and question how a game like RDR2 exists. Rockstar are just on a different level!
Its been a bit of a mixed bag for me as I want to play Ragnarök as soon as I can on release and dont want to be stuck in another game I dont want to put on hold.
Bright Memory Infinite - was gonna wait for a sale but its cheap as it is. And Im glad I bought it, had a blast. Its short, platinumed it in 3-4 hours but it was an impressive couple of hours. Especially considering its basically developed by one person.
Inside - started playing after reading a comment on here, and its great. Really gets your hearth rate up at some points.
Tiny Tinas Assault on Dragon Keep - had this in the backlog for a long time, finally started playing it. Its a bit over the top but I really like it, and the humor in it. Might not finish it before Ragnarok but thats fine, its not the story thats important.
Signalis - started playing it around the same time as my son, and ended up playing it with him as the puzzles are a bit hard for him on his own. Awesome game, the tension is real!
@Zuljaras Can't count the number of OHs and WOWs Elden Ring kept making me say. It's just full of surprises, the sense of discovery is amazing! It just kept on giving and giving. I spent 326hrs or so, felt like I beat every boss in the game. Grinding is much better and fun in this because it's open world compared to the other From games, at least that's the edge ER has over them but they're all classics.
The target this weekend has to be to finish the story in Tales of Arise, so I am ready for Ragnarok. The platinum will have to wait!
I’m tangled up in fever dreams and wet sheets with Covid lite, damn you Bill - first Xbox, and now this.
On the smaller side I'm playing Signalis - pitch perfect PS1 era survival horror, think I'm about half way through.
On the bigger side I've actually jumped into New World, it hasn't caused my PC to catch fire yet so that's a good and the game itself is scratching a certain itch
I'm thinking I might burn through a NG+ run of God of War 2018 before Ragnarok hits.
Gone back to trying to play one single player game at a time, so making my way through Control at the moment. Hopefully I’ll also get to play Gotham Knights co-op with my brother at some point too.
Finished the cod campaign on veteran yesterday, after loads of crashes while playing had to play a few missions again on veteran as it said i did it on regular which it definetaly wasnt. Then started plague tale 2, not liking it as much as the first tbh finding it a bit of a chore to play the stealth parts are really teadious on chapter 8 will finish it as the story is good, the graphics are amazing. But amicia and hugo are really getting on my nerves lol. Inbetween that will probably do a few online on cod. Just waiting for gow now although dont know if i will wait for that as im going to york next friday to watch the snooker for the weekend so might wait till im back to play gow.
The chant and asscreed Valhalla on the ps5, tell me why on the xsx and I’ll be trying to get past the first area in Ecco the dolphin after 28 years of half cheeked attempts on the sega genesis mini 2.
GOW 18, in preparation for Ragnarok. I am so ready for this sequel!
@colonelkilgore Return of the Obra Dinn, one of the best games ever made. Got it’s hooks so deep into to me and has never let go. Best detective game ever, no dumbing down. Would love to play it for the first time again.
Mostly Valkyrie Elysium with a bit of shattered.
@themightyant sounds great, looking forward to starting it… which’ lol probably be sometime tomorrow 👍
Nothing 😶 Death Stranding is on hold, as I'm away from my consoles. I'm almost tempted to re-download the Witcher AR game and mindlessly wander around saying "what now you piece of filth?" But I'm undecided as yet 😁
@RogerRoger thanks man, on the upswing I hope. Have a good weekend 👍🏻
Century: Age of Ashes and Valkyrie Elysium.
Just one trophy left for the plat on Valkyrie. It's a handy one to get too - Finish the game on Hard mode.
@TheArt Yes! This is open world done right!
The GotY award war will be between Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok!
I’m currently on leave for the next week so I’m going to head back into A plague Tale Requiem which I’m really enjoying. Apart from that, IRL I’m learning to drive so very terrified and excited.
Ninja gaiden sigma this weekend. Never played any of the sigma versions before as always had acess to the "better" ones. Ninja Gaiden is still better gameplay than most games after all these years
Continuing on, what I believe to be, one of the greatest adventure journeys in video game history in Final Fantasy XII. Just on my way to the Stilshrine of Miriam for the Sword Of Kings.
@kyleforrester87 I’ve got it too! Hang in there.
Yesterday, I finally got the chance to play Shadows of Rose and fell asleep about 15 minutes into it, which isn’t a fault of the game? Hopefully? I think I’ll try to get through it this weekend.
In my time of illness, between headaches, I’ve started Beacon Pines, Signalis, and Ghost Song (as well as finishing up on Plague Tale 2 because it felt ironic to play). I’ll be skipping Ghost Song for now because I don’t need any more headaches than I already have. Signalis and Beacon Pines though are both two of the biggest surprises of the year. Indies are still interesting!? Who knew? Just when you thought indies had turned into a stretch of C tier roguelikes, metroidvanias, and shmups, there’s finally something new!
But yeah, I need to clear out all these games quick though… I mean, we’ve got that huge title coming out next week. Everyone on Sony has just been waiting for Sonic for so long, it feels like…
After beating Forza Horizon 4 and its 2 expansions recently I’ve decided to start playing Forza Horizon 3. Sadly the expansions for 3 have been delisted.
Also beat Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3 and Kirby’s Dreamland 3 in the past week so I started playing Kirby 64 a few days ago.
And like always some Fortnite.
Im still playing nioh 2.im almost at the end.im at level 108.i cant wait to play all the dlcs.nioh 2 is a amazing game.and one of the best games ever made.a instant classic.and hollow knight voidheart edition.one of the best games ever made.a indie instant classic game.watching classic legendary tv 📺 sitcoms comedy in in living color.good times.saved by the bell.and martin.word life.word is bond.word to your mother.word to god.word up son
I’ve got 2 bosses to go on cuphead then I’ll have to decide if I’m going for platinum 😵
Trying to get god of war finished before Ragnarok possibly playing some more trials of mana and still need to finish plague tale on xbox. Probably play some mw 2 as well loving it so far except the buggy menus.
Will be playing a bit of WRC generations on ps5 and some Mario party 2 and 3 from the N64 library on the switch with the kids. May try and get a few rounds of COD in after the latest being my first franchise purchase sice the origional MW remaster. Im pretty crap at it tho.
Got the plat for Hyperdimension Neptunia VII last weekend and have just wanted a smaller game I can pick up and put down a bit (Plus anticipating PSVR2 is killing my motivation for standard flat games).
As such, I’ve been playing a bit of Graveyard Keeper via Extra. A nice enough little game. Bit of a more morbid Stardew Valley.
I’ll be out most of today and might remote play some 428 Shibuya Scramble given there’s no lag issues with that game really.
@TheArt do you play MHW solo or with friends? I was played with a friend who kind of stopped, and I haven’t been back since. Is it any good solo?
God of War Ragnarok... is already bought and pre-loaded, waiting for the 9th. This weekend I intend to wrap up Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island, explore more of Seiren Island in Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana and jump through Paris rooftops in Assassin's Creed Unity. The weather is a bit cold, perfect for playing.
Im on the final biome of returnal and im determined to get it finished before wednesday. My god its kicking my arse though.
@whitejessegpfc That piece of music in the menu from GOW Ragnarok is so beautiful...
Debating whether to continue Cyberpunk, continue God of War or begin Watch Dogs 2.
And after hours of contemplation I’ll end up playing F1 22 out of exhaustion 😂
Chipping away at Archvale until GoW Ragnarok comes out. Cant wait for it
Roughly halfway through TLOU Part I now. I hope to finish it in time for the GoW release next week, but that's probably wishful thinking.
Going old school with the Sega Genesis Mini 2.
This weekend is all about wrapping up Gotham Knights, and playing through Shattered. Then cleaning up Valkyrie Elysium so I can debate whether or not to rush out and get Ragnarok. I want to be hyped for it, but I know it’s just more God of War.
Switch I need to get Bayonetta 2 done so I can enjoy 3, and then slowly crawl through Triangle Strategy.
Last but not least I’ll find some GamePass games to fiddle with and in shamefully playing Marvel Snap on my phone. I love card games. I’m a simple man.
Metro 2033 & it’s kicking my a** even on normal difficulty.
I've been messing around in GTAV for the first time since the early PS4 days and having a blast amd inbetween ill be continuing with Turtles Shredders Revenge with my 5 year old
@MB81 I play all my games solo because I don't have Plus. And I sometimes find waiting in lobbies and all those connection issues annoying, so I prefer solo. Your palico, grimalkynes, small monsters make for great partners, it's crazy fun.
@ApostateMage I remember cool guy Balthier. Never finished it on PS2 back in the day because my cousin came to take it off my hands, thank goodness they've outgrown that borrowing nonsense. Is the Remastered good - graphics wise -because I feel it might look too dated.
Ive been replaying bioshock 1. Not much else I'm waiting for Ragnarok.
I unfortunately have several plates spinning right now, so I’m not sure which I’ll focus on. Got some reason I just keep dropping back into GT7. It’s just so easy to pick it up for a a quick race or two and then end up playing it for 3 hours.
Otherwise I’ll see if I can continue my playthrough of Resident Evil 4 and Avengers campaign
PS5
Horizon Forbidden West
Time to get into this one and wrap the firstparty backlog. Good lord is the world gorgeous, am enjoying. Really cant remember any of the side characters, but think the plot and sidequest have my attention better in this installment. Gameplay is still slick as ever.
Quest 2
Journey of the Gods
Cute adventure title, that plays a little like old school Zelda in vr (with Wind Waker artstyle). Fun so far, if abit repitive.
Doom (1993)
I set it up to play the orginal Doom nativly on the quest, with Dr Beefs incrediable mod. Also doing it with Map of Chaos and Brutal Doom mods, n it is ridculously fun...highly recommended, and not too hard to fix up.
The wait for God Of Ragnarok my most anticipated game is almost up so in the meantime Im finishing Plague Rale Requiem, Continuing RE Rose DLC and throwing in some Monkey Island on my laptop
Mass Effect 3
I never finished this back in the day (I don't think I played much of it for whatever reason), but roughly 22 hours in I'm having a great time with it. I will definitely be finishing it this time around.
While waiting for GOWR, this weekend it's Gran turismo 7, Splatoon 3, and Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.
Monster Train, the best deckbuilder I've played since StS
and Tower Hunter: Erza's Trial, another roguelike metroidvania (it was OK).
I finished the campaign for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (2022) for Xbox Series X and it was stellar. I got all of the main story achievements except for two so I might replay the game and mop those up. I haven’t touched multiplayer just yet, but I might try it out for the first time in over twelve years.
Other than that, I started The Legend of Tianding (Xbox Series X). It’s apparently not that long of a game, and considering I work full time, this might be the perfect palate cleanser as I await God of War Ragnarok for the PS5. So far, the story is forgettable, but everything else is solid and pretty darn cool. It’s also challenging, even on the easiest difficulty. I’m looking forward to completing it.
With that said, a part of me wants to start Persona 5 Royal although I don’t want to play two heavily narrative driven games at the same time (GOWR). Who knows—I’m really craving a JRPG at the moment.
Gonna continue playing Telling Lies on PS Plus. Interesting experience so far. I hope the plot holds up to the end.
Also gonna play some Yoku’s Island Express with my daughter. Great recommendation from someone on this site.
Another weekend of 12 hour shifts so... nothing.
A little bit of Raji: an ancient epic, Eldest Souls and continuing my Star Ocean: The Divine Force playthrough. Happy gaming!
@BrotherFilmriss oh wow your pic! Keen! That was a good time. Are you german because if your nickname?
Playing GOW from the ps plus collection. Only an hour or so in but loving it. Outside of that probably a bit of driving in some form. Like Asseto Corsa Competizone (excuse the spelling). Waiting for GT7 to price drop. Loved the online league in GT Sport but hearing GT7 online nowhere near as popular. Is it worth the cash?
@Weebleman congrats on getting that far, thats a tough one. Good news though, the final boss is not that complex to beat. Best of luck, the lights at the end of the tunnel...
I'm playing 007 From Russia With Love on Gamecube. Never played it back in the day, so far its quite fun. Having Sean Connery voicing Bond adds so much to the experience. EA had a good thing going on with the 007 licence in the early 2000's shame it had to end.
I’m getting near the end of the MW2 campaign (which is quite good!) so I’m starting to dabble around w the Spec Ops missions (also quite fun!) once I’m done w the trophies for all that I’ll likely start diving into the MP.
I was trying to platinum Plague Tale Requiem but unfortunately I failed and will need to do another playthrough probably mostly because I just can't seem to find enough knives to unlock the secret chests! Oh well though, still enjoying the story again anyway.
I'm also back into Cyberpunk again. It's become my fallback game in-between releases. I always have a good time on it every time I fire it up! Then I round it out with a little MultiVersus and Tiger Woods although I got a bit of a bone to pick with Tiger as the shot system has caused terrible drift upward on the right analog stick!
Granted I've had the same dualsense controllers since around launch of PS5 so maybe it was about time.
@ThorsHammer cheers. Its getting to the bugger thats the problem 😂
Not looking to start anything new with Ragnarok just around the corner. So I’ll continue playing marvel ultimate alliance 3 on the switch oled.
The Quarry, will start 4th playthough, should get infect everyone and evidence trophies using a guide. Picked up Back to the Future Telltale game so will be starting that. Maybe be some GT7 and F1 with the wheel, really depends on how tired I am.
Pokémon Yellow Version (GB) - Made it to Mt. Moon, fighting Brock with a Pikachu was brutal.
World At Arms (Windows Phone) - Still playing again.
Angry Birds Star Wars (Windows Phone) - Getting three stars on every level finally.
Just Finished The Medium Loved It Start To Finish Especially With Headphones Wow lol
Fantavision of course. Will hopefully finish Limbo this weekend too.
Started destiny 2 again I did the first mission of the witch queen (I thought that was supposed to be a paid expansion lol) then logged out & when I logged back in I was on a mission with someone called spider & drifter I'm so confused lol
I'm not playing God of War Ragnarok this weekend.
I was playing Deathloop but it was consistently crashing causing me to lose progress so instead I have moved on to Death Stranding until it is fixed.
Really enjoying delivering packages on my trike, it is almost the kind of game I always wanted and while it may not click for everyone, it certainly does for me.
I started playing No More Heroes 3 last night. It's a fun time and I love Travis's VA.
I’m just starting the 5th dungeon in Persona 4 Golden and the 5th chapter of Bayonetta 3.
I like how most people here (including me) are either trying to finish whatever game they're playing or just not playing anything, for Ragnarok.
I want to blitz through HFW, but man, is the game gorgeous.
Really want to like GoW, but I can't get past the Stranger at the beginning of the first game. On EASY. That's ok though, since my default tends to be "bash things with a keyblade," I think I will enjoy the sequel vicariously through all of you.
Heading to Skyrim, picked up the VR version for $17. So I have it on PS3, PS4, PS5 and VR. It has almost beat my San Andreas purchases (PS2 Disc, PS2 Classics (PS3, PS4), PS3 (lazy port), PC (original 1.0). Sadly.
But it is a lot like No Man's Sky - while it looks a little dated, the immersion is amazeballs.
RE7 on PS5. Made it into the second house, so still relatively early on, but I'm glad I pushed myself through the first section. It always feels like the scariest part of the RE games is the first part. Perhaps you get more used to it as you play, and of course you get better weapons, but they beginning sections always seem to be so dark and terrifying.
On Series X I started a second play through of the Halo Infinite campaign the other day. That game feels so good to play. I’ll also probably get in a few matches online. On PS5 im working my way through Gotham Knights. Its a fun game to dip in and out of and i find it a nice relaxing game thats not too complicated or systems heavy. Have a great weekend!
Trying to finish Little Hope with the wife. More Sleeping Dogs (still such a shame we will never get a sequel) and probably some shredders revenge with the boy. Basically nothing new til GOWR
Been off work most of the week with a bug, but got God of War finished.
Playing Tales of Arise and reading Norse mythology until Ragnarok.
Have a great weekend everyone!
1. Finishing Valkyrie Elysium (PS5)
2. F1 (SteamDeck)
3. Destiny 2 (PC)
Basically waiting for GOW… not starting anything new.
@colonelkilgore @Dr_Luigi I have the Platinum and Honestly don’t remember that at all.
EDIT: just looked at a trophy guide and you can entirely sidestep that by copying the save file to another slot just before the ending (this point is obvious, it’s when you choose to leave the boat). I suspect that’s what I did but don’t remember
@themightyant good to know 👍
@JudgeDredd Yes, the less you know, the better. I will say that some plates spin better than others though. 😄
@themightyant well you have me intrigued about the return of obra dinn. Might pick it up after i finsh plague tale. Which will probably be tonight.
I've been playing some more Forbidden West and really finding a groove with the main quest. Going to check out some of the relics and explore some more thoug. I played some vampire survivor this morning with a cup of decent coffee listening to a podcast. It was sheer bliss! Have a good one folks
@ORO_ERICIUS
Guten Tag, m8 xD Yes I'm from Germany and have a "keen" love for oldschool games. Wouldn't mind some kind of remaster for Commander Keen and Duke Nukem 2.
@kyleforrester87
Get well soon, bro!
@BrotherFilmriss @somnambulance thanks! And hope you had a good bike ride @ @JudgeDredd, have not made it out properly myself for a couple of weeks
While PS5 is still occupied by Disney+ and Netflix, I've put to rest Elden Ring couple weeks ago and focus on Witcher 3 on Switch. Now I understand, why it is praised by RPG fans, and why new Assassin's Creed horribly failed to mimic it.
Platinum’ed Death’s Door (great game) so I might either play God of War (2018) for the first time, play more Persona 5 Royal, or just chill and play MLB The Show ‘20 since the World Series is coming to an end.
@BrotherFilmriss so geht es mir auch. Good ol times.
PS5 - Resident Evil Village Shadows of Rose DLC
Switch - Bayonetta 3, NieR Automata: The End of Yorha Edition
Also been playing a lot of games on the Sega Genesis Mini 2. Mostly Sega CD stuff but also some Streets of Rage 3, Super Street Fighter II and Golden Axe 2.
Still chipping away at GOTHAM KNIGHTS...
Because of ongoing floods over here in Australia, I suddenly got a large influx of games delivered to me all of once through EB Games & ebay:
A Plagues Tale Requiem
Gotham Knights
Resident Evil Village Gold Edition
Persona 5 Royal (PS5)
New Tales from the Borderlands
Nickolodeon Kart Racers 3
Valkyria Elysium
Star Ocean: The Divine Force
AI the Somnium Files Nirvana Initiative
Nexomon & Nexomon Extinction
Dead Island Definitive Edition
Little Nightmares 1 & 2 Double Pack
Them's Fighting Herds
Arcadegedon
The Ascent
Severed Steel
The Lord of the Rings: War to the North (PS3)
I'll probably just play Resident Evil Village's Shadow of Rose DLC since it's a short experience and don't want to jump into a big game right before God of War Ragnarok's release.
I'm playing my copy of Ragnarok that arrived early in the mail
Finished Signalis and loved it. Now playing Tunic - what a brilliant little game. Just sticking with smaller games until GOWR releases.
@NeThZOR
I’m not jealous at all…really I’m not.
It’s Deathloop and Dying Light 2 for me in between stints of No Man’s Sky…and a little bit of Shatter Re-mastered to mix things up a bit…but then work tomorrow, boooooo!…
@Northern_munkey congrats on the birthday, hope its a nice bass, have one myself! Also have an electric drum kit and electric and accoustic guitars. Im terrible with all of them, but I do like to try 😂
As for games this weekend, I feel like im treading water waiting for GOW. Ive gone back to Forza Horizon 2... was playing Plauge Tale Requiem, but got annoyed with characters and story making so little sense. I thought I might be the only person in the world who just wants to repeatedly punch Hugo in the face almost from the opening, but having now watched yahtzee and his latest 'zero punctuation', I know there are at least two of us!
Cant wait for GOW!
@Titntin cheers bud 👍.my wife bought me 2 basses lol..The first one she presented me with is a vintage bass i was eyeing up so i was surprised to actually have it in my possession..The 2nd bass she has stripped down to the bare wood so she can engrave a custom design of my choosing into it and then stain it and re laquer it..So i have 3 bass guitars lol..currently learning to play forty six and 2 by tool..
@Zuljaras What a fantastic combination!
I'm playing Trails the 3rd on PC. I'm about 66 hours in, and I think I'm nearing the end. It's definitely a much darker experience than the first two games, but still highly recommended. Looking forward to getting back to my PS4 though, it's just easier.
@Northern_munkey very nice mate. Love Tool, but good luck getting them time signatures, Id not have any luck with that! Its all I can do to play 'pyscho killer' lol. I was in bands in my youth, but kinda dropped it all to do game dev, so now the instruments are mainly cause I like instruments! My wife can play violin well though, and I have a friend who plays flute/ney and percussion, so theres a rare jam in the house.
Even when I play guitar hero (and we still do), I still cant manage above medium!
I'm giving God of War a second chance. It seems I didn't make it past the prologue on my first attempt. Difficulty is turned right down, at least until I start to get it.
On PS3 I've been playing Blades of Time, X Blades and Alice Madness Returns. Usually on PS 4 it's FIFA as well as Grid Legends. On PS5 I've been playing Shatter and Vampire The Masquerade: Swansong.
I try and have one single player and one multiplayer game on the go at any one time. So I'm playing Horizon Forbidden West before God of War comes out and also Gotham Knights co op with my brother.
After seeing the Digital Foundry review (which was weirdly spoilery tbh) I am now super torn between the 40fps mode and 120fps mode for God of War. It's a hard choice D:
This weekend I'm trying to end the plat to Pumpkin Jack and play a bit of League. The wait for Ragnarok is killing me.
Just got a ps5 as an early birthday present ! So I'm going to finish off the weekend with astros playroom
I’m on my first play of AC:Origins…I’m ~30 hours in about about 48% complete on my perfectionist run. Will I get to 100%? It’s going to be tough. I was only able to get to 89% on RDR2 and that’s my favorite game. I’ll do my best with another 6 hours this weekend.
@CWill97 GOW is great. Played it for the first time about 4 months ago. I need to do P5
@nyXhc420 P5 is fantastic! I suggest playing P5 Royal and not the original P5. If you need any tips that arent spoilers- hit me up any time! I’ve played the game more times than I have fingers haha
Actually, I just started GoW last night. Couldn’t agree more with you. I kinda delayed it for really no reason. But I caved in last night after a long day. No regrets.
When I had my PS4 I would play sports games and GTA… with a sprinkle of Batman, etc.
The PS5 opened up my eyes to not be so closed minded with video games was my reason not to play GOW, AC, RDR2,etc.
I’ve been playing a lot of MW2 this weekend. Outside of that Mostly fooling with my new iPad mini.
This weekend just chillin', keeping myself busy game wise until
God of War Ragnarok's launch on the 9'th.
Finished Rose's side story in Resident Evil Village - it's a good DLC but... in the end it was just more of the same. Don't know why but the RE formula is starting to get old, for me at least.
After that, I started the campaign in Gears of War 4 for the first time (never played it). I recently found Gears 4 and 5 at a discount so... why not give it a go? It takes about 10-11h to finish the story i found around the internet, hopefully I'll be done with it until Wednesday comes around.
Only 3 days left 'till Ragnarok!
Ii completed MW2 - forgettable Hollywood video game action.
Went back to Gotham Knights which I really really like.
Also progressed Plague Tale: Innocence - can't wait to play the sequel.
Only just got a PS5 so working my way through GoW 2018. First Playstation I've owned since the PS1. Very exciting.
@Daleaf 100% Do! While I'll admit it's not for everyone it has an 89 on Meta/Open critic, 8.5 user score, and won many awards including:
Genuinely one of the most unique games ever made, more people need to play Return of the Obra Dinn... Feel I need to champion it!
@themightyant well i just finished plagues tale on saturday, then decided to give the medium a shot finished that earlier too wasnt too bad actually got a bit tedious towards the end but overall decent it was on ps extra or premium for free. I am currently downloading obra dinn now so will give it a try once its finished 😁
@themightyant well i have started playing it now it seems a good game so far, bit hard to get to grasp with everything, not too sure what to do sometimes lot of back and forth and repeating stuff. Will get there but enjoying it so far.
Since I lasted talked in one of these articles (Early Sept), I platinumed Destroy All Humans 2 remake, beat the story for both Mirror's Edge 1 and Outlast 1, and attempted to platinum Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
I also started playing Assassin's Creed III, Syphon Filter 2, Outlast's Whistleblower DLC, and the LEGO Harry Potter Collection.
@freddquadros I heard you plat'd both AC4 and Rogue, proud of you! Also glad you had a fun time with Ghost of Tsushima and the Uncharted games, they're truly amazing games and very beautiful.
One of these days I'll go back for Tsushima's New Game+...maybe even attempt the multiplayer trophies.
What do you think of Cyberpunk 2077, Deathloop, Nioh and Assassin's Creed Unity so far?
Finally did you ever watch my other Netflix recommendations, like Locke & Key?
@KidBoruto Yeah!! I finished Ghost of Tsushima on monday, got the remaining Iki trophies and 2 in multiplayer, very good mode. But I ended the game for now, must carry on to others.
Cyberpunk 2077 is amazing, very engrossing world, quite detailed. There is one ending remaining that I will tackle soon, and the other trophies I will wait the expansion in 2023, as the level cap will rise for sure, and it's needed.
Deathloop is quite intriguing and chalenging, it tests our detective skills a lot, but I'm advancing and making more and more strides to the final plan.
Nioh is a very good soulsborne game. I got the grasp of it faster than Bloodborne. But I couldn't play recently because i didn't had time. But I will.
Assassin's Creed unity is technicaly impressive. the jump from the Kenway era is visilble graphicaly. The transversal is largely improved. The stealth suffer a bit because the guards have an almost superhuman vision. But the game is good, full of content, lots of sidequests.
I didn't forgot the Locke & Key show, I'm just finishing some others 1st.
Today is God of War Ragnarok day, and I won't do any other thing tonight haha
