It feels like the release schedule is showing no signs of slowing down, so if you've got a backlog building up, it might be time to panic. Here's what's keeping us busy this merry weekend.
Jamie O'Neill
I'm fascinated about retro release dates, and the anniversaries of old games, so I'm playing Street Fighter Alpha 2 courtesy of the PS4's Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, because it's been a whopping 27 years since it was first released in arcades in February 1996.
Khayl Adam
I'm wrapping up a game for review before diving into Persona 3 Portable and slowly working towards the Platinum. Tartarus might be a little samey, but the addictive metagame of Persona fusion has me completely in its thrall!
Liam Croft
With Hi-Fi Rush done and dusted (amazing game), I’ve started Chained Echoes. I’m enjoying it so far and looking forward to getting stuck in properly this weekend.
Sammy Barker
In the name of research, I'm playing Cosmic Smash, a Dreamcast classic I concede had largely passed me by. I'm also reviewing approximately 10 billion PSVR2 games.
Scott McCrae
I'm still investigating the Snatcher menace in Neo Kobe City this weekend.
Simon Fitzgerald
With it being the last weekend before I leave to permanently live in another world — PSVR2 — I’ll be spending it checking out Season 2 in Modern Warfare 2. Also, I may squeeze in a few more runs of Dicey Dungeons before being pulled back into reviewing duties.
Stephen Tailby
I'm still scouting out collectibles for our big Hogwarts Legacy guide, so I'll probably put a bit more time into that this weekend. If I need to unwind, there's also plenty of cleaning to do in PowerWash Simulator.
That's what we're playing this weekend, but we want to hear from the rest of you. What's keeping you busy this weekend? What's occupying your gaming time? Let us know in the comments section below.

Hogwarts what else lol
I'll be wrapping up "Hogwarts" and then trying to resist the temptation to buy "Metroid Prime Remastered" before the physical edition drops.
Hogwarts Legacy. I feel more like a random weirdo who wanders around fields all day looking for houses to break into, and sometimes pops into Hogwarts, rather than a student there, but it's still a great game. Also, Kakarot. I thought it would be crap but I love it. Finally, I downloaded Spiritfarer due to that PS Stars thing, whatever it's called, and I went from not even having heard of it to absolutely loving it. So atmospheric and comfy.
Finished 𝐘𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐳𝐚 𝐊𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐦𝐢, good story although I felt that the substories were weaker than 0. Also the lack of a business mini game was sad.
I must say that I prefer the turn based combat of 7. Mainly because I'm....not that great at combo based action games. Get a bit button mashy. That's my failing though, not the game.
However still had a great time, so good in fact that I've decided to go straight into 𝐘𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐳𝐚 𝐊𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐦𝐢 𝟐!
Couple of chapters in and I'm loving it! The Dragon Engine upgrade makes things look great.
The lack of 60 fps is a tad unfortunate, especially for an action game however it's not too egregious.
Enjoy both your weekend and your gaming!
I played PS4 games in the morning. 🙂
1. LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER
2. The Sims 4
Then I played Switch games in the afternoon.
3. Penguin Wars
4. Pokemon Sword
My finger is finally up to controller use (if a little painful) so I'm playing through God of War (2018) in preparation for my first run through Ragnarok.
I'm a little worried that I'm not enjoying it as much this time around, and wondering what that means for the sequel, but that could just be because I'm on my 4th play through and I'm in pain whenever I press L1
For those wishing me well the other week, some gross details: The wound has finally, after 3 weeks, fully closed and mostly shed its scab, and I have an impressive looking scar - the top edge is perfectly straight while the bottom edge is ragged where the chisel wedged the wound open as it went. I'm also completely lacking any touch sensation in any of the tissue on a segment from the scar up to my finger tip
Elden Ring 100 hours played and currently working through Mountaintops of the Giants. Looking foward to Like A Dragon Ishin! and Atomic Heart next week
Spinning chakrams as I dance around foes in FFXIV Stormblood. The music, as ever, is superb.
Ghost of Tsushima started out slow for me but after getting to ACT 2, I can't stop playing. Still on AC Valhalla too which is brilliant but my gripe with these games is why can't they just have a perfect navigation guide like Rockstar's or Horizon...hate it when you end up at dead ends and constantly have to bring up the map. That's why Elden Ring is just something else, it has no guides yet the map is easy to navigate, speaking of which, still can't stop admiring ER's art but that's for all FromSoft games. Will be gallivanting in the Eternal City, Nokron.
Hogwarts of course.
I’m rotating between Like a Dragon: Ishin! and Hogwarts Legacy. Looking forward to getting home from work and cracking on with both of them. Also be dipping in and out of The Elder Scrolls Online.
overwatch 2
(no i cant think of anything else to say)
Uhhmm let me think..
Theatrhythm Final Bar Line on Switch, Like A Dragon Ishin on Xbox, Castlevania SOTN on PS5 in anticipation for Dead Cells DLC.
Started Hogwarts Legacy two days ago.
Even though I don't like the Harry Potter films, I'm enjoying this game a lot.
Will be playing all evening
On Playstation 5 I will be playing some Hogwarts Legacy and Wild Hearts which I'm having a blast with so far.
On switch I've finally completed Bayonetta 3 so now I can focus on getting Fire Emblem Engage and Pokémon Violet done, I've also started up Wind Waker HD on the WiiU as i never actually got round to completing it.
I'll be finishing up Persona 4 Golden on PS5 this weekend and then trying out the Octopath Traveler II demo, along with some more The Legend of Heroes Trails from Zero while I wait for Like A Dragon Ishin to come out Tuesday. I can't keep up with all the releases this year
Will continue my playthrough of life is strange true colours. Not long hopefully before I receive my psvr2 so don’t want to start anything long
It's all about Hogwarts for me atm.
Syphon Filter might get some attention, but once I jump in to Hogwarts I cant see myself switching to anything else.
Hogwarts Legacy.
I dusted off my Vita from 2015 and I’m playing Tomb Raider Chronicles (that OLED screen!) Also Dead Space on PS5 and Diablo on Switch.
Got a rare spare 4 hours later, so continuing Ghost of Tsushima. Enjoying it in drips and drabs as it is basically go here, kill this group and repeat, but the views as I am GETTING to the guys I have to mash up are incredible (minus some sh! tty water effects). Long game so far, think I'm on act 2.
Finally plucked up the courage to start Elden Ring earlier this week so will be continuing with that.
This reminds me that I really must pick up PowerWash Simulator on PS5. Loved it on Game Pass and I want to replay on PlayStation to enjoy it again and grab some trophies while I’m at it.
I'm finishing Assassin's Creed Syndicate, there are some DLC missions and few trophies remaining. Do some sidequests in The Continent too, as I didn't played The Witcher 3 this week. Played some Dragon Quest XI S yesterday, maybe another play session too. I wish a happy weekend to you all!!
Running around Hogwarts currently and then I’ll be starting Like a Dragon: Ishin for some good old chaos with my favourite boys. ❤️
I was going to play more Hogwarts Legacy but I ran into a bug whilst going for collectibles where the game thinks I’m missing 1 field guide for an area even though I’m 100% sure I got it, looked at 2 separate guides, completely following the steps, then I looked it up and it seems that this is happening to other people and will be getting fixed in the games next patch. Supposedly the patch was meant to be out already but got pushed back because of this collectible bug, so I’ll be benching the game until I can continue without worrying about not getting 100% required for the platinum trophy.
So now I’m finally playing OG Final Fantasy 7 which has been on my backlog for a very long time, I remember playing to the end of the Midgar section when I first played it and that was years ago, so this is pretty much a new experience for me minus the one spoiler that everyone and their mother knows about. Turns out it’s pretty easy to avoid spoilers if you don’t use social media😂 My only takeaway so far is the phenomenal music which I’ve actually heard quite a lot of before experiencing the game, the soundtrack truly is inspirational and well known even if you’ve never played the game before. That battle music though🤩
Hogwarts Legacy and what a brilliant game it is. I heard someone say that Hogwarts is to HP fans what the Arkham games were to Batman fans and I totally agree. It’s so much better than I hoped it would be.
Zero Dawn, as part of a Horizon PS Plus run so I can try to understand the story of Forbidden West this time.
Deathloop, a bit more Thymesia and some Division 2. Any lapsed Div2 players out there make sure to sign into your account before Feb 27th.
There's a compensation cache in your inbox with tens of thousands of crafting materials in it including 55 exotic components. Don't miss out on it. Have a good weekend all!
Hogwarts, its worth my sole attention!
Finishing off the seasonal story in Destiny 2 ready for Lightfall in a week or so, and then cracking on with Hogwarts.
Just finished the main story in Hogwarts Legacy, but I’m not leveled up to actually complete the game, which is totally fine because I want to play the game more anyway. I’ll likely be playing the game at least through this weekend and a little bit more into the future before shifting on to the next new release.
Gonna finish Mafia definitive edition so I can start forbidden west on Tue. Cannot wait. Surprised how good Mafia is.
As for most people ' Hogwarts Legacy
Also going for the final trophy for the Stray Platinum. What a superb game
And playing one of the finest games ever made - Metroid Prime Remastered on Switch
What a time to be a gamer eh ?
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
Dead space is the game I hope to wrap up so I can start Hogwarts Legacy.
Otherwise it’s a weekend of the occasional dip into Bayonetta 2 and Triangle Strategy. Two kids doesn’t leave much time for games haha.
I got Hogwarts legacy, played it for about 8 hours, and for some reason dont feel any draw to go back to it. So im back to playing MW2 multiplayer collecting gum camos. Im sure i will go back to HL, just wasnt as fun as i was hoping.
@Shigurui Thymesia was a nice souls like that once’s I cracked the combat it became even more enjoyable.
Finished off the platinum on Dante's Inferno, this morning and will probably continue to chip away at Deathloop here and there over the rest of the weekend. After around 4 hours in, I don't know how I feel about it (apart from the fact that it definitely isn't a 10!).
Hogwarts Legacy, have downloaded update, glitched collectables trophy has popped, will need to play the beginning 3 more time choosing deferent houses, about 2 hours each for platinum. Also another play though of Devil in me and I plan to get back to Dragon Quest 11.
@GorosBat Download the update, has now been fixed.

Have my niece staying over and she is all about Undertale and Deltarune at the moment 🤷🏻♂️. Must be watching folk streaming it or something.
As for myself I'll be finishing off Hyperion today, amazing book so far. I picked up Nier Automata: short story long. Looking forward to reading that and replaying both Nier games at some point. Otherwise I can't really be bothered with gaming just now!
Have a great weekend everyone.
I will be spending time trying to finish some PSVR games before my preorder of the PSVR 2 will arrive. Fracked, Star Wars Squadrons, Resident Evil 7 and Skyrim VR all still need some love..
After an epic labor since Wednesday, i just welcomed my second child this morning. Tonight will get some game time as mummy and baby rest in hospitol:
PC Game Pass
Plagues Tale: Requiem
Very enjoyable. Loved the first game, this one intially felt very same-y, yet now a few chapters in it feels like a satisfying step up in terms of gameplay n story. These triple-a linear experiences are rare nowadays so really enjoying this as it goes along.
QUEST 2
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Over the halfway line on this one. Very old school, but a blast to play via VR mod, even if some design is frustrating.
In Death: Unchained
This game used to be my addtiction, felt like picking up again to beat the third world (tough as nails) boss. Have a feeling once the PSVR2 arrives with Light Bridgade, im gonna leave this title in the rearview...better tackle it now then never.
I'll be doing some more side content with Yakuza 2 Kiwami, and progressing further with Beyond: 2 Souls and Wario Land: The Shake Dimension.
Just Hogwarts for me. 17 hours in and loving it. I’ve only got to the first season change so think I’ve still go a long way to go.
@TheArt slow is good for games like this ⛩️🙏 although it is a game that I distinctly remember gets better and better the more you play. I should definitely do the Iki Island expansion soon, it's been a while 😬
Might be putting Elden Ring down for a while, Like A Dragon Ishin! just dropped through my letter box 😀
Witcher 3 I finally decided to leave Skellige and do Ugly Baby at level 26/27, leaving what must be over half of the Skellige contracts and quests behind. I'd forgotten just how big this game is. I want to do everything, but I just don't think I'm going to be able to, when there's more games I want to buy and try this year haha 😬
Judgement I'm going to start this and see what it's like at some point too
My copy of like a dragon:ishin has arrived early so I'm looking forward to digging into that. Have a good one folks
Returnal. Trying my best when the kids are sleeping to get to the 3rd ending.
@GorosBat where are you up to now in FF7? For sure, the rest of the game can age and lose some of what made it an essential experience when it launched but the soundtrack is timeless!
Finished Evil West in the week which is a great game a bit short but good fun. Hanging on for Atomic Heart so don't want to start too much so probably pop back into Destiny 2 now we have a bit of DLC from PS+.
Happy gaming folks.
@Anti-Matter is Pokemon Sword any good?
@KingPev
Yup.
It was pretty good.
Every Pokemon from Gen 1 - 8 are playable on Pokemon Sword / Shield.
But I think the gameplay and the storyline are better on Scarlet / Violet version despite they are suffered on graphic issues for the environment and NPC animation from far away.
@kyleforrester87 I just got past the part where Cloud and Aeris escape the Turks in the church, so very early on. I remember getting stuck right after Midgar where I needed to cross some forest on a chocobo and could never seem to actually get one. I was much younger then so I expect this time I’ll quickly understand what to do.
@GorosBat ahha, early days then! Yes it’s not too tough, 3-6 hours and you should be there really
@gamiller1978 Weird, I’ve been on my ps5 all afternoon and never got an update notification and after reading your message I checked and low and behold it’s there. Cheers👍
@kyleforrester87 I remember it taking me 5 hours the first time but now it’s going to take longer because I need to semi follow a guide for certain missable trophies for the plat, namely for one trophy that requires you to go on a date with Barret at the golden saucer which is supposedly easy to fail.
Metroid Prime Remastered and Fashion Police Squad.
Just finished Hi Fi Rush last night. Amazing game, probably in my top 5 of all time.
So it's time to move onto something new. Next up is going to be TLOU 1. Never played before and gonna play it before I watch the TV show. Looking forward to jumping in.
Continuing my playthrough of the PS5 version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. After reaching a point where I was struggling to progress for a few hours and finally breaking through (especially after finding the Dina character), I'm excited to continue on again with the remainder of Chapter 2 and beyond. It was getting frustrating, but not anymore obviously.
Still just Hogwarts Legacy. Gotta finish it up before I start Ishin hopefully next week but I'm taking my time with it. It's been an absolute joy to play!
Currently playing Persona 3 Portable (PS4/PS5) and plan on starting up The Last of Us and Tales of Symphonia Remastered up next!
I finally beat Metroid Prime (Remastered) for the very first time. It’s such a fantastic game. That said, I do have a love/hate relationship with one aspect of the game: Obscure artifacts. I appreciate that the game makes you utilize every single ability, weapon, and visor at your disposal, but some of the items you need to collect are vague, primarily the artifact located at Phendara’s Edge. There is no way my 12-year-old self could have beaten this game when it originally released on the Nintendo GameCube.
One thing I absolutely adore about the game, however, is the tone it sets. It really makes you feel that Samus is essentially a stranger on an alien world; and I found it really special that you’re learning about the world at the same time as your character. It made me feel like a scientist in a sense — scanning artifacts, computers, enemies, and the environment to understand what’s transpiring on this planet. It was masterfully done.
Now that I’ve completed Prime, a part of me wants to do another run in Metroid Dread, but I also want to jump back in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I put roughly sixty hours into the game when it first released, and got near the end of the game (late chapter five), but I haven’t touched the game since late September. I got real busy with life and wedding planning, so I put it aside. I’ll more than likely start a fresh playthrough.
I just found out if you pre-order (Yakuza) Like a Dragon: Ishin! you can play the game early. Considering reviews being favorable, and Yakuza 0 being one of my all time favorite games, I think this is what I’ll be delving into over the weekend. I’m only an hour into it, but so far it’s great.
Hogwarts Legacy - bloody brilliant game, love it!
Apex Legends - new season, new game mode. Really fun!
Wanted: Dead (PS5) will be the main focus but I'll also probably work in Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which I also recently started, as well as Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion.
@Ravix Yeah it's definitely getting better and better as I play. I might start the Iki Island soon cause it just appeared in Act 2. Haha you can't do everything in The Witcher 3 with all these equally huge games out. I think I did like 95% back in 2016 or something. I must say I like how almost every game is huge these days and giving money's worth.
Since there's a free online weekend going on. I'm gonna try to take advantage of it and play some Monster Hunter Rise online with some randoms. Hopefully some people are around lol. I've also been meaning to try Elden Rings PvP update so now's as good a time as any to try it out for a bit
And along side that, still more Hogwarts. I've finally got that charm to unlock stuff. I feel like I can finally start exploring more freely but man is it so daunting
Trying to get in Final Fantasy VII Remake as nd Sonic Frontiers for PS5.
Trying to reach HR100 in MH Rise, excellent game👌 can't wait for the Sunbreak DLC!
I think I'm on Chapter 6 or 7 in the Dead Space Remake. I'm taking my sweet time with it.
Also will be playing a lot of Salmon Run in Splatoon 3 since it's a All Grizzco Weapon rotation.
Nearly polished off Sniper Elite 5 platinum which has one of the best levels in a game that I have played in years. The Spy Mission (3) is incredible. Up there with the Hitman 3 English mansion level for me. Probably get the dlc season pass being on sale at the moment just to keep me ticking along.
Not sure about getting the VR2 next week. I’m excited and I can afford it but I really need to buy a laptop or a Mac Mini. Probably just hold back until after RE4 remake.
Playing through The Last Of Us Part II for the first time to see what all the fuss was about and since I’m watching the TV show as well. Besides, $9.59 is a darn good deal 😉💪🏽 So far it’s pretty good and I like the ‘big shocker’ towards the beginning of the story. Makes sense for the world the characters live in and I know why they did it as I already know the broad strokes of the plot. I’ll be interested to see how the rest of the game shapes up…..
1. Hogwarts Legacy
Brilliant game, pretty much taking up any time I have free right now.
When not at work... am nearing the end of Metroid Prime Remastered, what a great game it still is today, and an excellent update of the original. Also finally got around to playing some more of Grid on the Switch, it's a very well done and technically impressive port. If feeling retro, might play Stunt Car Racer on the A500 Mini.
I finally decided to go back to Horizon Forbidden West. Id played It for about fifteen hours and it just wasn’t clicking w me. This time for some reason it clicked and I’m now 56 hours in and it’s all I want to do. I even play a good amount on my phone with my Backbone Controller with remote play. It’s finally hitting me like the first one did and the story is really getting interesting. Glad I gave it a second chance. Have a great weekend everyone!
Still resisting the urge to buy Metroid Prime Remastered, the physical version is almost out, on PS5, I started Dead Space and wow, they did a fantastic job but I have to agree with the review here, it doesn’t look that good, well for a current gen only game.
Hogwarts Legacy all weekend! Loving everything about it, this has exceeded expectations. Totally immersive.
I was previously playing Persona 4 Golden and Rise of the Tomb Raider, but those are on hold.
My Wild Heart is hunting this weekend.
Madden 23 (Series X) Started a career mode on it. Enjoying it so far.
Octopath Travler (Switch) With 2 coming out, it reminded me that I never finished the first one so, I guess I need to do that.
@TheArt I never know when to do expansions like Iki in GoT. I always like the stand-alone ones, so they can be done post main game. I carried on with the main story in Tsushima with the promise to go back when there's a lull in games available, because it's such a nice game to play, and will be easy to go back to. I'd imagine it's not too long though, so it probably can fit mid playthrough. I still have it installed so I'm tempted to try it out this weekend now 😂 ah, there's too many great games 👹👹👹
@ErrantRob - Yeah the combat in Thymesia is excellent. Great little game!
Odin Sphere Leifthrasir is my current game. I’m on Mercedes’s last chapter. Really fun story! The different characters keep the combat very fresh
@JamieO Alpha / Zero 2 is a classic and really improved on the first game, I imported it for the Saturn back in the day.
Hi fi rush
What a great game.
Lovely characters, varied combat and enemy design and...
I really don't sea any problem in it, everything is great so far.
Do I recommend it? YES! Definitely
Doing things on beat will take a little time to get use to, so don't surrender if you have a problem with it at first
I went on a tear and bought the Nioh Remastered Collection, Catherine Full Body and Metroid Prime Remastered this past week. Gonna dip into the first Nioh game
Was really hoping to continue my recently-started second playthrough of Elden Ring with a pure strength-based character, but my wife and kids are too busy faffing with some wizard school simulator.
Gonna dive into Wild Hearts this afternoon and maybe more Ragnorok. I'll give MH Rise a break for now.
Like A Dragon Ishin arrived today, so I've started that
@Ristar24 I stated above that I'm interested in the year that retro games were released, and one reason for this is the context of console hardware capabilities of the time.
For example, I said that arcade Street Fighter Alpha 2 released in February 1996, so its release was still relevant in regards to the technical transition from the 16-bit to the 32-bit eras.
You mentioned importing Street Fighter Alpha 2 for your Saturn, and my understanding is that SEGA's 32-bit machine was already showcasing advantages in extra animation frames when compared to the still decent PS1 port.
If you have a moment to check out Nintendo Life's Wii Virtual Console review of SNES Street Fighter Alpha 2 — a review by Corbie Dillard, who was an excellent retro writer during the earlier years of NLife — you could scan through to Comment 10 from December 2009, where I praised the SNES conversion for providing a noble 16-bit effort at replicating a technically complicated arcade game, comparatively speaking.
In more modern gaming language — partially due to the current technical capabilities of the Switch when compared to the PS4 and PS5 behemoths — it would be called an 'Impossible Port'.
Sticking to Capcom's Alpha/Zero series, I also remember being amazed at Crawfish Interactive's Game Boy Advance conversion of Street Fighter Alpha 3, which was another 'Impossible Port' from the history books (note that this link is to a Dave Frear review, who's a great NLife retro reviewer, too).
@theheadofabroom I thought GOW 2018 was good, not great. In contrast, GOWR was my game of the year 2022. The character development and story in this entry is soooooo good.
I am glad you are feeling well enough to game-best of luck with continued healing!
Dead Space while listening to smooth jazz to offset the scariness. Finally pulled the trigger on No Man’s Sky too
@ZoSo So I actually preferred Yakuza Kiwami of Yakuza 0.
@TheArt @Ravix You should play Iki island after finishing the main game, as the are some story spoilers from the ending.
@Stevenfins Yeah googled when's the ideal time to start and they all said- after main campaign.
WRC Generations
@JamieO I remember the old days of VC Reviews and then the early days of Nintendo Life, seems retro itself now! The Virtual Console was how I first played a lot of SNES games as I went from the Master System to the Mega Drive in the early 90s, after the C64.
The Saturn was great to import 2D games for, while the PlayStation was really capturing the wave of emerging 3D games, the Saturn was receiving amazing ports of 2D games like X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, where the RAM cart reduced loading to practicality nothing. Capcom Gen 5 almost brought the arcade versions of Street Fighter 2 home. I also imported a few Neo Geo ports like The King of Fighters and Metal Slug, and the the Japanese SEGA Ages releases of OutRun and Power Drift. The Saturn was a great console at the time, but I can see why the buzz was more around the PlayStation and emerging 3D games.
Got my copy of Atomic Heart yesterday so I'll continue playing that and possibly some Saints Row Co-op, probably one of the most glitchy games on PS5.
I recently beat and platinumed both SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake.
My next game will be either both Horizon games, Returnal, or Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, focusing on older games that cost either me or a family member alot of money.
As much as I'd love to dive deep into my copy of Hogwarts Legacy, I'd rather wait until the last/final patch has been released.
@freddquadros Hope you've been well friend. Sorry for ghosting again, I have a bad habit of stalling on posting in the Weekend Playing articles.
Happy to see you're so close to AC Origins! Be sure to lemme know how you feel about the change in gameplay.
Regarding Dragon Quest XI S, how has the quality and framerate been? Is it all that noticeable it's just a Switch port?
Btw, did you ever get around to watching Locke & Key on Netflix? I also highly recommend Lockwood & Co, it dropped in January 2023.
@KidBoruto Hello brother!! I for sure will enjoy Origin's gameplay, loved Odyssey when I played years ago, so I know it will be great. I like both the classic AC gameplay and the RPG influenced one. Both works and fits the franchise.
Dragon Quest XI S run in perfect 60 fps. I never played the original version, so I can't compare, but the Definitive version is beautiful, amazing. I fully recomend, as it is more complete in content too, with quality of life additions as well.
Yeah, I already started Lock & Key!! Still in the 1st season, enjoying the show!! Quite intriguing!!
@freddquadros Ah now that you mention it, I do recall you saying you played Odyssey first.
Glad to hear the game still plays smooth, despite definitely being a Switch port.
Lemme know when you finish Locke & Key Season 3, would love to hear your thoughts on the entire series as a whole.
@KidBoruto It's so true that the original Dragon Quest XI version runs in 30 fps, and the S version runs in 60 fps, and iI can atest, it makes a huge difference. The game plays so smooth that it's like a PS5 game. Even the loadings are very fast.
