Another week has come to a conclusion, and so it's once again time for us to bring together our team and take stock of all the titles we're planning to play this weekend.

I was on the verge of starting a new Elden Ring profile when I decided to give Dark Souls 3 a go instead. After that incredible reveal of Irithyll of the Boreal Valley (if you know, you know), the game has well and truly got its hooks in me.

Over on Push Square's Forums, I'm on track to fulfilling my 'Gaming Resolutions for the New Year', by beating Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1, March 1997) and Cool Boarders (PS1, January 1997), with an aim to completing twelve 1997 PS1 games in 2025.

I'm back on the review grind, but outside of that, I've been plugging away at Civilization VII, trying to get a multiplayer game to happen with a friend on PS5. There is so much potential there, but sadly, some annoying bugs and desynchs have stopped us from getting more than 70 turns in, which has happened a few times now. No issues when playing single player, so it may just need some time and a few patches. Now that I've gotten my head around some of the bigger changes, I'm starting to think it might be be the seminal entry in the series. Sid Meier and Firaxis don't miss!

It's a secret! But I'll use this opportunity to say I recommend playing the demo for Promise Mascot Agency, a bonkers but compelling combination of concepts I really enjoyed. Limited to 80 minutes, the demo gives you just enough time to get a feel for the narrative, open world exploration, mascot management, and more. Possibly an acquired taste, but certainly worth a go!
That's what we're playing this weekend, but what about the rest of you? Let us know what's on your gaming itinerary in the comments section below.

This weekend I will be randomly playing God of War 3, Wrath Aeon of Ruin and Ocarina of Time 3D.
3 fantastic games to set the mood
And ofc the development of Castletoria continues! This year the progress will be huge!
Happy gaming everyone!
Just bought playstation portal midnight black edition, and I must say I'm impressed. I bought the system to play 2D games and I'm actually surprised I can't almost feels the difference between playing it natively and on ps portal, already play shovel knight, river city girls, castlevania sotn, huntdown, and dead cells and I have absolutely no problem with it, (surprisingly) the portable is comfortable to use, it's weight less than my switch oled, the dpad position is really nice to play 2D games, and the screen is good and big enough to play games.
I like ps portal more than my switch now since playing any games at 1080p and 60 fps on portable is nice, and I usually play portable system on my room. Also, I'll buy ps portal 2 if sony make it with direct wifi connection to ps5 (like wii u gamepad). Good job on ps portal sony 😃
My wifi speed is about 66mbps download and 70 mbps upload, and my ps5 is connected by lan cable btw.
Finishing off my platinum run through with the Uncharted series. Currently on the speed run for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Thinking of also going for the Cod WW2 platinum too. Happy Gaming All.
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. What games am I playing? More like what games am I NOT playing!? The answer being every single one except Hi Fi Rush.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds
Got a beta invite for PS5 till sunday.
I'll be plodding away at Trails from Zero. I'm also in the mood for Zelda, legends everywhere!
Still on Streets of Rage 4, Shredder's Revenge, and still waiting on my Retroid so I can play Brutal Doom and New Vegas on the go and never buy another game again. At least it shipped!
I also picked up Star of Providence, which is excellent, and Moons of Dalamor, which seems great, and Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age, which I'm about to start.
Problem is I know I'll put on SoR4 and just keep going. I guess that's not a problem.
Recently I've gotten the platinum trophies for Veilguard, Hogwarts Legacy and Helldivers II, which means the only thing I have left to do currently is finish off my Hard Mode run on FF Rebirth.
I'm not sure how badly I want to put myself through that though. I have two weeks off work coming up. Maybe I'll leave it for then...
Like a Dragon Pirate Hawaii, batshit crazy, love it, just pure fun, forgot what that"s like in games nowadays 😀⚓️🕹
Tales of Arise: Having never played an entry I am going in fairly blind, but I appreciate the art style, commentary, and of course a chunky RPG. I really have no idea what to expect but cannot imagine I won't have fun.
I recently completed Stray which was every bit as entertaining as I expected it to be. As the proud owner of a Siamese myself (his name is Prince) it was great exploring a dilapidated world as one of our feline friends. I just really hoped the little guy would live through it (spoiler he did of course). It was also pretty funny watching my cat attack the TV screen and try to see where the cat would go. A really underrated gem.
After playing Vampire Survivors for what feels like forever and finally getting the very last DLC trophy, I'm back to Forspoken. I can't stress enough how much I'm enjoying it. I really don't want it to ever end. I got it for free through ps plus, but bought the DLC just to support SE for greenlighting it.
Continuing my play through of WuKong, still loving it, so rewarding and I feel the difficulty is just right for me. Hoping Stellar Blade is similar!
Managed to snag a physical copy of Clive Barkers Scorn too so hoping to give that a try!
@wiiware have you tried streaming a Premium game yet? I plan on getting one and I agree, much prefer the symmetrical thumb sticks! Enjoy my friend 👍
Happy Gaming Folks
I need to get the GT7 weekly races ticked off today, then it's onto exploring more of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, and blowing up bases with my bow and arrow
Good lord the original Kingdom Come Deliverance is an immersive game.
That and I don't think any game has had me have so many tabs open on my laptop.
It's Avowed for me this weekend. It's a decent game, a strong 8/10 imo, not the best of its genre, but pretty and plenty to find in its environment. I enjoy it best in 3rd person, but both views work. I also intend to finish Indiana Jones and the great circle, I'm on the penultimate level of that fine game.
If I get time, I'll get back to Atlas Fallen on PS5 as I was enjoying that.
Whatever you are playing this weekend, I hope you have fun. 😄
Playing Kingdom Come Deliverance 1. I absolutely love it, reminds me of The Witcher and Skyrim. Looking forward to moving on to KCD 2 when I'm finished with it.
Away at the moment but heading back home later today I will be looking forward to Yakuza my girlfriend got me the collectors edition as a Valentine's gift
After moaning about it last week, I’ve suddenly clicked with GOW Ragnarok, it seems to open up a lot after chapter 6. Loving System Shock remake too and I finally platinumed Subnautica (cannot wait for the next one).
Have a great weekend folks!
@Jrs1 I think I've been convinced to pick it up. I've always respected the Yakuza games, but could never get down with all the insanely long cutscenes..
On the Pro Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 absolutely Incredible RPG. Avowed on Game Pass played a few hours and it's a decent 7/10 type RPG
Tried God of War Ragnarok for a few days. Great graphics, but boring game. Started Cult of the Lamb now, very addictive and fun so far!
In between I’ll try to finish Call of the Mountain. Good tech demo, but the game drags on for too long without offering anything substantial.
@LikelySatan Ive never got on with the longer entries in the series, got this one because the combat is so fast and fluid its superb. Also love the black flag naval combat type thing and playing daytona 2 in the arcade. This is a more condensed spinoff yakuza and that suits me fine 👍
@GuttyYZ I'm doing exactly the same.
Back in 2023 I planned on playing an Uncharted game each year and really enjoyed the original at the time. I then put that plan on hiatus though, as I devoted pretty much the whole of 2024 to my PS3 backlog.
Well I’ve finally managed to circle-back and will be making a start on Uncharted 2. I have played it through a couple of times before (once on ps3 and once the ps4 remaster) but this time I’ll be hunting that plat.
I am elbow deep in Dragon Age The Veilguard after replaying the first three games and I am LOVING it and have come to the conclusion that most of the complaints are (mostly) unfounded, obviously that could change but I'm 50hrs in so we shall see.
I'm playing Uncharted 4 (PS5) , and being reminded of what a great and well directed game it is. I will continue the amazing Blood and Wine DLC of The Witcher 3 (PS5) and maybe some Star Wars Outlaws or Yakuza 5 . Lots of gaming awaits!!
More FF16 and some Balatro - still unlocking the whole deck slowly!
Lost records. Enjoying it so far. Sad is it is like trying to find the birds and critters to film.
Got Darksiders 2 PS5 version to try and give a change of pace and after lost records got life is strange double exposure to try
11 hours into Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and I'm stuck on a quest to get my dog back, trying to beat some bandits but I have nearly no health after some wolves attacked me and no way to heal. Will have to try a different approach to the situation.
@naruball I've been thinking about going back to Forespoken and finishing it off recently. The traversal and combat in that game were something else.
@Titntin Does Avowed have any nice dungeon exploration? I'm craving some first person dungeoneering.
I will continue playing the instant classic the incredible Detroit become human.incredible graphics.gameplay.story.boss fights.and soundtracks.and i will continue to play the underated classic days gone.i already beat days gone im playing the ending sidequest.and yeah since i already beat days gone im not playing the remastered.give me days gone 2 sony.i will be watching my boston Celtics 💚🖤 play.and i will be watching legendary sitcoms tv 📺 comedy shows in family matters.good times.the Jeffersons.sanford and son.and saved by the bell.word up son
I’ve been struck down with a nasty cold this week which has knocked me for six. I have the new Like a dragon Pirate Yakuza ready to go, but I’ve opted for Stardew Valley as my head is killing me. Gonna keep it chill for the weekend and hope that recovery is swift. 😂
You know, the last maybe two weeks has been a weird time for me. I’ve not really played much of anything lately. Have been sort of off, personally.
I bought KCD2 and started it, but just haven’t played it much, and my friends have been wanting to play Marvel Rivals, but I’ve been falling asleep too early, so I’ve missed out. I’ve wanted to start Lost Records and Avowed too, but again, I’m falling asleep too early and haven’t done that. I suppose it could be any one of those games I play this weekend, but I’m hoping to hop onto that Sonic Crosswinds network test as well.
If none of those, I’ve played one game lately two days ago that felt nice to return to and that was We Heart Katamari. That’s a perfect game to knock a funk.
@Shepherd_Tallon Fantastic fun Forespoken. I enjoyed it and completed it, but my wife spent over 200 hours loving it.
As for Avowed, Ive only opened up 2 zones and while their are a few smaller caves and dungeons, there's nothing like we got in Skyrim for example. Give it 6 months and it will be announced on PS I'd wager. 😄
Well ive put Kingdom come deliverance on hold for now need to set aside some serious time for it. So started on god of war again then onto ragnarok after they are brilliant games
Trying to beat The Messenger on Switch, I’m already at the end apparently.
Also started Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on Ps5 and I started a second route in Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes on Switch.
@Titntin Skyrim dungeons ruined me! 😂
But yeah I think giving it 6 months is exactly what I'll do. I was going to see how it runs on Steam Deck, but I'll just leave it for the inevitable PS5 version. I loved the Pillars of Eternity games so I'd be eager to get into Avowed.
Smashing things in Wreckfest which I just got the Plat for. Otherwise probably finish High on Life and finally start Death Stranding again.
I had a plan for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves open beta. But the matchmaking still sucks so i'm just gonna relax and watch classic anime.
A couple of days ago i watched Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and it still looks amazing and even better compare to todays anime. It's sad that Japan stop making stylish-detailed anime movies that aim for mature audiences 😔
Have a good weekend everyone 🍻
Warhammer 40k - space Marines 2 - still having so much fun with this games. Been playing some multiplayer and some of the operations, and I feel like I will keep playing this game for a long time. Might even go for the platinum 🙂
Avowed - I´ve managed to get maybe 6 hours in, and the game is growing on me despite some minor issues I have that might be something others dont really care about. The physics of the game is a bit all over the place which sadly my brain really registers and it brakes the immersion for me. Like, mugs are all breaking the laws of physics and cannot be moved whatever you do, grass doesnt catch on fire, NPCs are mostly (all?) standing still and also cant be hit with anything, unlimited arrows that dissapear after a few seconds, enemy weapons dissapear when they are defeated etc etc and Skyrim for example did all that a lot better 14 years ago. Its just something I expect in a first person RPG but that may be a non issue to some but its going to take some getting used to for me.
It does look pretty good though, and runs fairly well on the Series S. Exploration and movement feels really good, combat is ok and the story and side quests so far are ok. Im a big fan ot these kinds of games and I love exploring the world. Hoping the game keeps growing on me and I really should try and enjoy it for what it is, not what I want it to be 🙂
@Jrs1 my favorite of the games is Lost Paradise, so condensed is fine w me.
@darkswabber it would be wonderful if you are at one of several false endings. I love that game.
@Jrs1 I like the look of it but not played any of the Yakuza/like a dragon games. Can you come into this as a newbie and not be completely at sea (pun intended)
Banishers ghosts of new Eden at some point. This game is really starting to outstay its welcome, I’ve enjoyed my time with it but I just want it to end now
Played the demo for Promise Mascot Agency and I’m in love. It’s so whacky and dumb and right up my alley with the Japanese humor.
Otherwise I just started Iron Meat and it is excellent. If you love Contra this is modern Contra head to toe.
Otherwise I’ll wrap up Mafia Definitive Edition collectibles for the platinum
I also need to get back into Zenless Zen Zero and Infinity Nikki as well.
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk that was my issue. Played like 20 hours and needed it to end so I abandoned it. Maybe I’ll go back, maybe I’ll never save New Eden.
I've hit a bit of a brick wall in v rising so I'm playing jedi survivor this weekend which is pretty much the same as the first game only better in every way although the holo map is still rubbish. I might give forspoken a try but the way the main character talks is a bit off putting. Anyway have a great weekend folks 👍
Still playing Dynasty Warriors Origins.
Its a good game (and the latest patch fixes the 120hz mode).
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk I got bored of it at around the halfway mark unfortunately.
Loved or for 5 hours or so then fatigue set in and then it was a chore.
Pity as want more AA games
I'm struggling a bit with kingdom come deliverance 2 - not because I don't like it, but because its the kind of game I need a couple of hours to sit and get into.
So, I picked up Cult of the Lamb which is a nice pick up and play game for when I only have half an hour gaming time.
My bedroom is almost finished - I can taste it. Need to redo the last floor plank around the door, tack the trim back on, clean up, and get furniture back in. The TV needs work - when I replaced the LEDs, I didn't use gloves when handling the lense (it's edge-lit), so there are blotches and spots on the picture. Just need to pull a bazillion screws, get it out, and see what degreaser will get it clean. My PlayStation has been unplugged for 2 weeks, so I'm looking forward to being able to play again. I'm in the endgame of Fantasian Neo Dimension, and I think I'll try to pivot to Trails into Reverie after.
Have a great weekend, everybody.
@Titntin @Shepherd_Tallon @naruball Love seeing some positivity toward Forspoken. It’s arguably the most underrated game of the generation. It’s such a unique experience and world and I’m so glad when people enjoy it. I could definitely see it being considered a cult classic in a couple years.
Still flailing with my sword about in kingdom come deliverance 1, I think I kind of got the hang of the combat after 130 hours, but I still flub it up depending how many enemies are attacking me. Beyond that I might play a psvr2 game to mix it up.
@rusty82 That's kinda like what ive done, This one's a spinoff so should be ok.
@Fartingale @Tsushima @GuttyYZ @Anke
Still making my way through Trails through Daybreak II. I'll also be starting Minecraft in co-op.
I'm sailing the seven seas in pirate yakuza, absolutely loving it so far.
I'm playing the Sonic Racing Crossworlds beta and its a lot of fun so far with no connection issues. It seems to be a chaotic mix of Sonic Racing Transformed, CTR and Sonic Riders, with plenty of customisation both cosmetic and game affecting.
Really looking forward to the full release
@Jrs1 Cheers. I'll maybe try the demo and see what I think
Finally started playing ff16. Awesome game. I'm really enjoying the epic fights.
@naruball
It isn't free if you paid for the subscription.
@LikelySatan it’s good that I’m already past both otherwise you would’ve spoiled a major twist for me 🤪
Board games
Citizen Sleeper 2
Probably some SF6
Maybe Fatal Fury's beta
@Mintie
It is so annoying. Every time, I decide that Veilguard is worthy of the Dragon Age moniker some gamer provides argumentation that convinces me it absolutely isn't.... that is... until some gamer, like yourself, puts down a testament to the opposite viewpoint.
I am so confused.
I’m still working my way through Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and going for the plat. I went from convincing passerby’s I’m the Dark Lord to being nicknamed Sourdough. That isn’t a joke and I love it.
What is more shocking is how I’ve put 85 hours in the game and just now reached the second region. It feels like an entirely fresh play-through due to the variety of locales, side quests, and story beats.
I also decided to boot up my Nintendo Switch. Admittedly, it has been a while. I’ve been on a nostalgic kick and want to get lost in an (J)RPG of a lighter scale, so I purchased Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana and The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero. I’m looking forward to starting at least one of those games in earnest in the next couple of days.
I am enjoying my time with Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. As I stated in the articles leading up to the release I cannot recall looking more forward to a game than this - and it doesn't disappoint.
I feel like the whole world came around to my level of hype, and that has to be earned. Thanks to Warhorse for giving me this special gift 🎁
I look forward to all the patches, DLC, and multiple playthroughs this game will offer me. Thank you to Khayl for bestowing a 10/10, I can feel you gave the game points for how well supported it will be. You can't say that of course, but I know.
@Fartingale
Don't be afraid to step back, circle around and in general think of your own positioning in relation to several advancing enemies in order to avoid blind angles and sucker punches.
@playstation1995
God of Detroit, what is your verdict on a scale of 10 on Days Gone?
I really loved the Detroit game, but there so many things I could never get right in my playthrough and the game teases you endlessly for failing.
Been playing Dead Estate, a pretty good roguelike with a fun cast of characters and lots of weapons and upgrades.

It even has a Resident Evil like mode for cartoony horror. Good s**t!
@Ravix
Abbey road is aptly named at last
I wanted to insert an image, but I can't I guess..
https://www.reddit.com/r/kingdomcome/s/VWiQU1wvyk
@graymamba Best of luck mate, there’s a few sections that have scared me off the plat. I’m sure you’re more than up to the task 👍
@EfYI haha great use of the Hares 😁
And @xeofate if you feel you can't do that part, go and wander in to one of the towns and talk to people. You don't have to do the marked quests, you can find a lot of unmarked stuff to help you improve. Or if you simply need health, go to Bohzena who lives right by the quest you're trying to do and sleep there to heal.
As with any game like this, a dead end isn't a dead end if you can simply walk off in another direction. I didn't get Mutt for maybe 25 or 30 hours as I was having fun being a detective and wanderer. But the simplest start is to head to the blacksmith to try and get a job like the game hints. But it is totally possible to just ignore all marked quests too.
@PeaceSalad I know what you mean… I remember the big blue guys were pretty tough and the final boss gave me problems too. Having said that, I’m pretty excited. Every time I return to an Uncharted game I have numerous moments of “Oh… that’s where this memory comes from!”. I’ve only played the first 3, so while I’m psyched to return to 2 and 3 for their platinums… I’m really looking forward to eventually getting to 4 (& Lost Legacy).
I'm with @khayl all the way - now I'm deeper into it Civ VII could well be my favourite (at launch, unfinished) Civ game. And it will only get better! So that'll be me this weekend... just one more turn...
Until Dawn remake on the Pro + LG CX. Really enjoying it.
@EfYI. Days gone is a solid 8 for me.deacon st john is one of my favorite protagonist ever.the graphics.the gameplay.the soundtrack.the boss fights.the story is excellent.and detroit become human is a incredible game.the gameplay.the graphics is incredible.the story.the bosses.and the gameplay is incredible also.i enjoy playing as the 3 protagonist kara.markus and connor.word up son
More Ragnarok and Snowrunner platinum tackling for me which will be numbers 43 & 44. If you’re out have fun if you’re at wom take it easy and enjoy your gaming. 👊
@EfYI A mate of mine had a mixed take on it, thought it was a good game by itself but thought it was a terrible Dragon Age game, but he hadn't replayed the others so he went in with what he 'felt' a DA game should be. Another has done what I did and replayed the franchise beforehand and loved it without reservation.
I think having the franchises turbulent designs as well as all the overarching narrative fresh in the back of your mind helps a lot.
Veilguard, to me, feels like a combination of a response to Inquisition being too sprawling and the same kind of rush and desperation that gave us DA2.
Started space marine 2 absolutely loving it!
Arma Reforger. Looking out for the update that normally would drop this month.
Forspoken. Need 3 more trophies and the platinum is mine but don't know if I Will get it because of the grind.
The darkness 2 on xbox360. One of the games I bought but never played. I really liked the first one.
Have a good weekend.
I’m finishing up my 1st playthrough of Lords Of The Fallen and grinding through all the gear, supplies and XP I can before I start NG+ for a different ending. The game is one of the best Soulslikes I’ve ever played and I dare say actually improves on the FromSoft formula in a few ways. But the game isn’t without its’ flaws and also falls waaaay short of the FromSoft gold standard as well in a few areas too. All in all, if you like the Soulsborne style of game you owe it to yourself to play this game. Hope everyone enjoys what they’re playing this weekend!
I'll be playing my Fender MIJ Jaguar bass this weekend 😂 taking a break from the games to bust some grooves.
Ok, maybe some Kingdom Come: Deliverance II as well...
@Shepherd_Tallon yup! That's where it really shines.
@somnambulance I remember the criticism being about the script, which may be fair (personally I found Frey's reactions very realistic), but I gotta say, I also thought that the voice acting was simply brilliant.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
I’m all in on Avowed this weekend and I’m loving it. It didn’t catch me at the beginning but after an hour or two it really pulled me in.
It’s all about Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, but I might dip into Silent Hill 2 remake then when I get too scared move over to Atelier Sophie 2, picked both up in recent sales…talk about whiplash
Thanks @Ravix I did manage to get past that bit today by changing tactics, waited till night and picked off one of the bandits, snuck in and stole the horse then legged it. I should have come more prepared though before starting that quest. No matter, Henry survived to live another day
@naruball The voice acting was heavily criticized as was Cuff’s interactions with Frey, but i thought they were pretty well done.
Personally, I didn’t find the script obnoxious at all. There’s some narrative issues, but nothing that isn’t video gamey as an issue.
Frey’s lines sounded like something a young adult girl would say if put in the circumstances she was put into, and when things were cheesy, it was definitely video game cheese. Resident Evil 4 Remake released right after it, and I remember thinking the dialogue for that one was about as cheesy at times.
Amy Hennig of Uncharted fame was on the writing staff for the dang thing. That Marvel 1943 game is using her name as a selling point, for crying out loud. There was a strong writing staff attached to the game. I think the game experienced more of an internet bias thing rather than anything else. I remember getting into a lot of arguments online after it released with people that refused to touch the game.
If there’s any issue with the game that I felt was a little off, it was pop-in, but uhh… that’s sort of common in games at launch this generation.
@Shepherd_Tallon very much and underrated game. Even didn't mind the story
Back at with the Marvel vs Capcom Collection.
@somnambulance agreed about the dialogue and how the game was judged my many who had likely never even played it.
Pirate yakuza in hawaii ofc
Gonna try some aimless wandering in HZD Remastered while I wait for MH Wilds next Friday. Thisnis a very busy weekend and im dead tired already so I might just play the go hone and sleep game instead.
Happy gaming!
Demon's Souls, Dicey Dungeons and Pepper Grinder!
Some sniper elite resistance ,only on 2nd map taking my time ,love the series, and some rdr2 thrown in for gd measure ,also maybe some pacific drive
Finally bought Suicide Squad for 10 dollars but even that was too pricey. Played about 30 minutes before I couldn't endure it any longer. Next time I'll just listen to what everyone is saying.
At the end of Dark Souls 3 main game - managed to defeat Nameless King couple days ago and now trying to beat final boss Soul of Cinder. In the meantime also getting through first DLC Ashes of Ariandel - my ass being kicked by Sister Friede right now, after few tries only able to reach phase two still lots to overcome but really enjoying the game.
I'm looking forward to watching PM tomorrow - Man City vs Liverpool FC, hopefully we'll have great match.
Have a nice weekend a happy gaming, everyone!
Really trying to make a dent in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 before X comes out.
@JonnyAces Get is son! You’re a platinum player!
@freddquadros Uncharted 4 is the best Uncharted game in my opinion, just so great.
@Littlebigmatador enjoy! That game blew me away. Spent 75 hours with it and am looking forward to a replay.
I finally finished up The Callisto Protocol this week and loved it towards the middle to the end. Final boss was a little weak. I think my plan is to plug away at some Yakuza 7 and Like A Dragon: Ishin! if I can find a chance. At night I’ll be probably lean towards Silent Hill 2 on the Portal. Feels nostalgic playing SH on a handheld. Reminds me of the PSP days.
i'll be finally finishing off stellar blade and tales of graces F then its on to finishing like a dragon infinite wealth and crisis core FFVII: reunion.
Still KCD2 for me. I'm well over 100 hours in and still loving it. Currently, my Henry is working at a vineyard.
It's good to see people enjoying the first KCD.
I am playing real life.
@GuttyYZ For me it has the best story, and U2 the best setpieces!!
Far Cry New Dawn (almost done), Diablo 4, and Dead Space (the remake). The reviewer on this site might want to get his vision checked, saying it doesn’t look much better than a PS4 game…it’s gorgeous! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose!
@playstation1995 Ah yes, who doesn't know the boss fights in Detroit?!
Pirate Yakuza and going to give Dark Souls a try. Always stayed away from the Souls gamed due to the difficulty, but after beating Black Myth Wukong I decided to give it a try. Happy gaming everyone!
Defender 2000
Finished God Of War: Ragnarok finally! Working my way to platinum. First trophy was 2022 lol. Also, as always, Elder Scrolls Online. Likely jumping into Prince of Persia ext.
@darkswabber Eh, no, I wouldn't have.
Finished RDR2 story, it really enhanced the ending of RDR1 for me. I’d love to get the platinum but that is a very slow burn. I’m feeling Dante’s Inferno can be my next game.
Got Pirate Yakuza but am having a blast with Avowed so might end up putting that on the back-burner for now.
@Mostik I haven't, I'll try streaming elden ring later, I hope it's good for playing 3D games too 😃
My weekend is being dedicated to Avowed. Great fun and an interesting world. Happy gaming.
I'm hoping I can finish FF7 Rebirth this weekend since I'm on the second to last chapter.
Microsoft Wordament (Android) - Adventure mode and Dailies as usual.
Halo: Spartan Assault (Windows Phone) - Still tackling a mission here and there.
Microsoft Minesweeper (Windows Phone) - Still blowing myself up daily as well.
@graymamba Yeah completely get that, I had many of those moments when playing through the collection. You’re in for a treat with A Thief’s End, the distillation of everything that is great about the series. Apparently Lost Legacy is even better so I still have treats ahead 😂
Replaying Dark Souls
Trails through Daybreak II, enjoying it so far despite the criticism
I just played through Wavetale. 9/10, amazing and calming traversal and I'd recommend it to my own grandmother.
I'm hour 40 into Outlaws and loving it. Somehow I'm not feeling too Ubisofted by this game. The writing, quest design and combat engine are really fun. Tons of mini-games which I'm enjoying as well. I'm trying to full-stealth and it is great. Great stuff
Well here we go with another awesome WAYP. Some of yall may have noticed no WAYP last week from yours truly. Simple answer is I didn’t play nothing. I was on an amazing Valentine’s Day Weekend date with the most amazing girl in the world who I asked to be my girlfriend. But yeah no games mean no WAYP. Most of the week was spent with the new regular games like Dynasty Warriors Origins and Trails Through Daybreak and YS Memoire and FFXIV Dawntrail. Actually ended up beating YS and what cam I say that is one quaint little YS game big fan of the mostly laid back artstyle. Oh yeah I finally did it I beat Metaphor Refantazio Honestly Metaphor was a beautiful game from start to finish an absolute 10/10 no notes beauty from story to characters to the world to even the combat just absolutely incredible. Most of the weekend was spent with Super Mario Party Jamboree and nothing actually. Jamboree honestly still is the best Mario Party recently no joke it’s a lot of fun and so pretty. Played two rounds on the two boards that interested me most the mall and race track ones and playing as Pauline and Rosalina is still so much fun too As for why I played nothing well I got surprised with a visit from my aforementioned girlfriend so I promptly took the Sonic Racing Crossworlds Beta I was gonna try and just well….. didn’t. Like I’ve said before yall some things are more important then gaming and this is one of them. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some WWE2K24 or maybe the Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Beta. Maybe some Fantasian Neo Dimension or even Lost Records Bloom And Rage as I would really like to see how that game plays out considering this is Tape 1. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, FFXIV: Dawntrail, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake and WWE 2K24. Try to start Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii as yeah I got that as a surprise gift from the GF as well and I’m very much looking forward to enjoying that one. Excited to also pick up a copy of Monster Hunter Wilds this week as well after Pirate Yakuza it’s probably my most hyped game. Question is it it a purchase before going to NYC to see the GF, in NYC or after? Also did preorder Clair Obscura: Expedition 33 and DOOM The Dark Ages too so I’m very hype for those. The wrestling thing this week being the WWE Elimination Chamber and WWE2K25. Yeah there’s some good matches at the first like the Women’s and Men’s Elimination Chamber matches and the Kevin Owens Vs Sami Zayn Unsanctioned Match. As for WWE2K25 I’m just plain excited to get that. Anime of the week gotta go to Dragon Ball Daima and Shangri La Frontier and Solo Leveling and Okitsura and Sakamoto Days and 100 Girlfriends. They all continue to be absolute bangers no notes I will admit I’ve skipped two weeks of anime recently. Also saw that new Captain America movie Brand New World and yeah that was good too. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel Podcast, Wrestling is Cool which I wanna give a try and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Have a totally awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.
