The first blooms of spring are, well, springing – which is big news for fans of sunshine and warmer weather. Of course, with so many new games on the market, who’s even got the time to go outside?
Aaron Bayne
This weekend I'll be diving into Hitman VR, with its new PSVR2 update. I've sunk a lot of time into the third game in this reboot series, so I'm really excited to play it from a new perspective!
Graham Banas
I recently dug my GameCube out of my closet on the recommendation of a friend that I play 007: Everything or Nothing. So, I'm going to be having myself a retro weekend. And I'll probably be playing some Deep Rock Galactic, too, but that's always a weekend go-to!
Jamie O'Neill
I've added FromSoftware's 1997 release of PS1 Armored Core as a bonus game to my list that centres around completing twelve 1997 PS1 Games this year as part of the Gaming Resolutions for the New Year 2025 thread on Push Square's Forums. I'm not forgetting to play Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back as I originally planned, though.
Jenny Jones
I'll be donning my PSVR2 headset this weekend and diving into the new No Man's Sky expedition; I can't wait to put together some weird and wonderful dinosaur exhibits. I'm also planning on checking out the demo for Atelier Yumia, considering I'm a big Atelier fan it's almost criminal that I haven't checked it out sooner.
Liam Croft
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is proving pretty engrossing at the moment, so I’ll put a couple more hours into that this weekend.
Sammy Barker
I'm getting hot and heavy with Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme. Look out for a full import review soon.
That's everything we're playing this weekend, then, but what about the rest of you? As always, share your gaming agenda in the comments section below.

I will try and finally finish Resident Evil 2 VR. I am on the last part, NEST.
Continue with my second playthrough of Resident Evil 4 Remake.
And last, I will try out Metal Slug Tactics!
Have a nice gaming weekend everyone!
Not a lot of gaming this weekend as going to a Metal gig tonight🤘then hangover and vindaloo belly Sunday so will have to be Vampire Survivors on switch if I find time.
Enjoy your gaming weekend everyone!
PS4 - Bloodborne
PSP - Wipeout Pulse
Dragon Age: Veilguard, while it's not perfect but it's far from the car crash it was made out to be.
Completed my first playthrough of Deus Ex Human Revolution last night. It's a game that really hit the spot for me: visuals, music, story, and gameplay were all so good. If I had to make a complaint, it would probably be that the last part of the game, after everything goes a bit Stephen King (if you've played it, you'll know what I'm talking about), was a little bit too easy, which defused the tension a lot, but that's a minor gripe. Having the classic Deus Ex theme at the end of the credits was the icing on the cake.
So this weekend, I'm planning to continue playing Neva, as I'm still on the hunt for all the glowing flowers, and finding them seems to be where all the best puzzles/challenges of the game are hidden. What I'm really looking forward to, however, is starting Trails in the Sky Second Chapter. I loved the first one when I played it a few weeks ago and I'm really eager now to launch into the next part of the story. Vita is charged and ready to go.
Have a good one, folks.
Miles deep into collectibles gathering in Uncharted: Lost Legacy. As well as going through the campaign on Battlefield 4 to finally get that platinum out of my backlog. Happy Gaming All.
Crown chasing in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Jedi Survivor which is still looking fantastic on the pro. Getting close to finishing System Shock, which I thought was going to be a 20 hour game, but I’m at 60 plus hours, and a special shout out to Thank Goodness You Here, which I though was going to be cutesy, but just throws weirdness after weirdness at you (the Meat section, and the Brigadier! What the what, now?!?)
Also just watched Zardoz for the first time in decades. I wasn’t expecting much from Sean Connery as Borat, but that’s a pretty good film after a few beers.
Have a great weekend folks!
Baldur's Gate 3 - still deciding which origin character to play. Wish DOS2 had half the graphics this has, amazing! I'm in for a good time. If I have little time to switch - it'd be a bit of HFW, CP2077 or ER.
I'm slowly working my way through Sand Land. I really like the characters and story, but the gameplay can be a little dull, but still decent fun. Will make a great PS plus title one day.
I also picked up a new copy of Sea Of Stars for $5 during the week, which has been on the list for a while. I might give that a crack too.
Enjoy your weekend!
Atomfall for me. Only early days in it (less than an hour so far) but loving it so far. Great atmosphere. Very intriguing.
I'm from Cumbria too so it's good to see a game set in the area under its old name
Atelier Yumia. On one hand, it clearly has the best gameplay and production value in the series. On the other hand, I really miss old Atelier games where there was no conflict, no villains, everyone loved and supported each other, frilly dresses and yuri vibes all around. Bur in the interview director clearly stated that the fanbase of the old games is too small so they can go fork themselves. Too bad. At least Yumia is a great protagonist, easily the best after the twins.
Also all the discourse about AC Shadows made me want to return to Valhalla, but probably I'll nab at it little by little until summer. I'm not in a hurry, Shadows will probably drop to the price of a cup of coffee by then.
That's all for now, have a nice weekend.
Playing and loving First Berserker. Obviously reviews are subjective but I think PushSquare really dropped the ball on that review. Still slowly playing story missions in Red Dead 2 as well. Enjoy the weekend everyone!
I will be continued playing one of the greatest games ever made in the excellent doom 2016.i will also continued fan favorite the incredible just cause 3.and I will be playing one of the best indie video games ever in the amazing blazing chrome.it reminds me of contra.check it out pushsquare Jamie oneil.its like a contra game.im using doyle as my protagonist.the graphics.gameplay.story.boss fights the soundtracks is amazing. Possibly Horizon forbidden west or forspoken I haven’t decided whether I want to play something new in forspoken or replay forbidden west
I preordered The First Berserker: Khazan, primarily due to early access, having three days off work, and wanting something to pass the time. I have been playing for the last couple of days and I’m quite impressed.
There is no way around it: the game is difficult. It clearly pays homage to the Souls’ games. A few reviews mentioned how linear the game is, but that is a positive for me. I don’t need intricate level designs like Bloodborne — simply give me a hardcore action-RPG and let me kill things.
It does have a great loot system, and doesn’t overload you with new armor and accessories. There is also a substantial amount journals and notes to pick up throughout the levels to expand the lore. But let’s be honest, nobody is playing these games for the story, though this one isn’t bad.
Where the game truly shines is in its combat. There are three different weapons you can acquire, all with their own separate skill trees. Each weapon feels distinct, and provides a flexible way to approach enemies, being able to switch at any time. I’m early on, so I know there are more nuances that will be presented and I’m curious to see how it evolves.
One differential from its counterparts — and a noteworthy one at that — is its progression system. As mentioned earlier, the game is challenging and it’s not uncommon to hit a roadblock with a boss fight. However, even if you die you still obtain Lacrima — this games version of “souls”. And when you die you can retrieve them before fighting the boss again, so you can still level up. Furthermore, you will also earn skill points the more you use various weapons, thus improving whilst dying. It’s a nice balance that really plays a pivotal role in how you succeed, and almost has an element of a rogue-lite.
With that said, the game has pushed me to my limit several times. I’ve platinumed Bloodborne, Elden Ring, and my favorite soulslike, Lies of P, but I feel as if this is tougher than those games. To be fair, I haven’t played this genre for a while so I’m still greasing the bearings.
I’ve fought three bosses so far, with the third being the proper skill-check. I spent approximately two hours on this fight before I managed to overcome the challenge. The more I fought them the more I learned their move-set and patterns, and it was satisfying solving that particular puzzle.
Overall, I’m really enjoying the game. If you’re a fan of this genre, or even more hardcore action games such as Ninja Gaiden, you should check this one out. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it has the best combat in terms of fluidity and stiffness than any other Soulslike/borne. Just be prepared to die a lot.
@Onearmbandit Enjoy the gig man!
I'm currently engrossed in the Shadowrun games. Just started Shadowrun: Hong Kong after finishing the excellent Dragonfall. Playing as a street samurai in this one after being a decker in the first two games.
Rise of the Rōnin: A fun mashup of fast, stylish fighting and zone clearing a la Assassin's Creed. The variety of different combat styles and unique activities (taking specific photographs or petting cats in unusual hiding spots) keeps the experience fresh, as does the setting and conflict therein.
Like the last few months, I’ll be playing Sea of Thieves. Mixing the first couple of Tomb Raider games into the mix aswell!
@Fuzzymonkeyfunk Forspoken is a decent game. If looking for something new id recommend giving it a go. I found it's gameplay fun and even like the story especially some of the later revelations
Im currently enjoying Tales Of Monkey Island on my deck. I love this series haha. Good joke and one of the best point and click game. Going to continue Leisure suit Larry after im done with Monkey island.
On PS5,im not playing anything until the next Title Update for MH WILDS is released which is Mizutsune, one of my fav monster in MH franchise.
Picked up Stellar Blade in the sale so getting stuck into that. Not too far in, I've fought three main bosses and just arrived at the big settlement. Fun game so far. Have a good weekend all!
As much as I'd like to be playing Creed Shadows, money is a bit tight right now so I'll gonna buy a month of cough Gamepass. Not going to be able to play all of these that I want to play in one month lol:
Atomfall
Avowed
Sniper Elite Resistance
Ninja Gaiden black 2
Indiana Jones
Eternal strands
Flintlock
Goldeneye 64
Mythwrecked
Stalker 2
Still wakes the deep
I am now about half way through chapter 5 of Black Myth Wukong, games just gets better and better, Scorpion Lord was a pain in the b*tt, surely no other bosses will be as annoying from here on in!
Got a Portal for my birthday too so will be seeing how that holds up!
Happy gaming folks
@amatmulisha It's the weakest of all the monkey island games imo but still great to see someone mentioning monkey island heh
INFRA

It's like if Half-Life 2 was a walking sim featuring a grumpy Eastern European man taking pictures of structural damage while pronouncing flashlight as fleshlight.
Lumencraft

It's like if Steamworld Dig was a top-down tower defense game where you drill some glittering pink goo that looks like it came straight out of My Little Pony.
I guess I will do some sightseeing for the next few weeks in the levels of Hitman on psvr2 while also playing said game. Very beautiful, so much detail, and although already played it still a very fun-tastic game.
Going retro this weekend!
AtomFall For Me After Finally Getting The Platinum On Demons Souls Which On The Pro Is Incredible By The Way
On my way to London for the FFXIV / FFXVI concert so games for me this weekend, just good music and tasty treats!
Have a shiny weekend everybuddy!
Mainly AC Shadows - and I really, really enjoy it! As been said, it looks amazing. The seasons are a fun addition as well. I've changed the settings so that quest markers arent added to the map automatically but I need to either use scouts or search myself, increasing the immersion. I prefer playing as Naoe, as Yasuke feels a bit to powerful but he has his uses sometimes, like storming a castle and wreaking havoc! I also really like to expand and build the hideout. I've spent some time making japanese gardens, very fun. Cant wait to play more!
Atomfall - I've played about an hour but it didnt really click for me. Might be because I just want to play Shadows instead, so I'll leave it for now but might go back to it in the future!
Started Kena last week, that seems fun. Also carrying on with Sniper Elite Resistance, while Elden Ring and Dark Souls III hang around in tbe background
Jakie Chan Stuntmaster!
@get2sammyb Cheers 🍻
Still playing Alan Wake 2. Few tiny gripes but overall awesome so far. Enjoy the weekend all
I’ll be finishing off the remaining trophies in bomb rush copywrite and once that’s done I’ll be starting atomfall.
I’ve made a start on AC Shadows and I’m enjoying it. I’m still trying to parrry on time, which seems unresponsive at times.
It's a three day weekend for me but boy oh boy it's hard making backlog decisions.
I'm currently playing through Star Wars Outlaws and Split Fiction on PS5
Kingdom Come Deliverance 1, Monster Hunter Wilds and Baldurs Gate 3 on PC
Batman Arkham Shadows on Quest 3.
I wish I still had the restraint and conviction to play one large game at a time!
Happy gaming everyone!
@BecauseBecause oh really? Actually im only played few of the series. The latest remake of the curse of the monkey island and tales of monkey island. I have the Monkey Island 2 special edition on deck but im not playing it yet. Which is the best in your opinion? So far i like tales of monkey island
@Shigurui My favourite from last year. Enjoy!!!
Probably not much this weekend as I’m currently glued to severance on Apple tv.
Atomfall for me. I like it so far. The atmosphere is great and my favorite part of open world games is exploring, which is clearly the key to this game. A few hours in, I will say that I am solving a bunch of leads, but it just feels like I am wandering around. Again, I am enjoying the exploration, I hope I manage to create more focus to my wandering at some point. But I am intrigued.
From the staff section: Everything or Nothing is a game I have not thought about in such a long time! It has been years and years since I played it, but I remember having fun, and thinking that the music, acting and production was way better than I expected (for the time at least). I would love to know how it holds up today. I know there are soooo many modern games to review, but I think a Push Square feature reviewing some old games with some fresh eyes would be fun!
Some more MH Wilds, I think I'm finally at the endgame. And I don't think the game has been as easy as it was made out to be. LR for sure but HR had just the right amount of difficulty and open ended-ness which I loved. Can't wait to really start messing with decos and gear and for TU1 to finally arrive
And also more Xenoblade X. Finally got my skell. I love this game so much. It can get a little overwhelming with the huge amount of quests it throws at you, most of it filler. But it's been fun riding around Mira and completing them. Fighting and leveling up. Doing the story which has still been so interesting. And just filling out the map and clearing out all the objectives
Baldur's Gate 3
Still going in Act 2. Just polishing off some of the quests I didn't finish before making my way to Moonrise Towers.
@Ichiban Sandland will obviously be a PS Plus title. I bought it. I am on quite the roll of owning the Essential tier titles these days…..😂😂😂
Atomfall on GamePass. Not impressed so far, it's a poor man's STALKER but nowhere near as good. No sense of dread, enemy types are the same, no atmosphere, unlike the brilliant STALKER 2
Also dabbling in Forza Motorsport and AC Shadows which is superb so far
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
@Judal27 ooh I need Xenoblade X in my life again. Loved it on WiiU
bit of Helldivers 2 or THPS1+2 most likely. Only 4h into RDR2 but not in the mood this weekend!
Helldivers II and Dragon's Dogma II for me this weekend.
I'm craving some Mario Kart actually. I might dabble...
Still playing and loving the amazing Assassin's Creed Shadows. Stunning game, and I'm enjoying every second.
I'm 50ish hours in and there's always something to do.
I’ve been really enjoying First Beserker Khazan (one of the best soulslikes out there) and I’ve also dove into Atomfall and it is incredible as well.
Finally to celebrate baseball being back I hit the diamond in MLB The Show 25 and the roguelike dice game has me hooked!
Arma Reforger. New update just dropped. Destruction and mortars.
Have a great weekend.
Literally just got platinum for Returnal it's a 9/10 with some of the most solid gameplay I've played in a long time, not sure what to play next, any suggestions?
@whitejessegpfc same here..khazan is a really good game and I'm doing nothing this weekend except playing as much of it as I can. I'm still not convinced that the reviewer played it that much and based his review on what information he found online about it. Shoddy review again. Have a great weekend folks.
I really want to finally start AC Shadows but, every time I boot up the PS5, Monster Hunter Wilds grabs me. Maybe finally this weekend...
@Kraven the third boss before and after the patch was night and day for me. I spent a good chunk of early access stuck on him, but post patch wiped the floor with him. This is one of the hardest souls games by far. I imagine it will filter out many players by boss 3 or 4 (where I currently am).
WWE 2k25 and Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Beta.
Finally bust out the portal yesterday as I’m away with the missus and it’s pretty awesome tbh. Just so happened that I’m currently chasing down the platinum on Lords of the Fallen so the stress-test is real… and the little portable portal into my ps5 has passed with flying colours.
My wife and kids are away until tomorrow, which leaves me to my own devices for the maybe the first time in about 3 years, so if I manage to make it home sober enough to play Atomfall that is indeed what I'll be doing.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and cheers to all those mothers out there, you're doing a grand job 👍
@playstation1995 That's a great shout-out, as always bud, because I absolutely love 2019's Blazing Chrome!
I'm a big fan of the detail in JoyMasher's pixel art graphics, and its presentation of classic retro gameplay as a Brazilian indie developer in general, so 2023's Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider was fantastic, too.
Ollie Reynolds posted an interesting 2023 interview with JoyMasher over at Nintendo Life called Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider's JoyMasher On Dev Nightmares And Changing Direction.
Funnily enough, JoyMasher's Danilo Dias discusses how he enjoys the first 1997 PS1 Armored Core game too, which links back to my WAYP this weekend.
I'm definitely going to replay PS4 Blazing Chrome now that you've mentioned it here.
Wishing you and all of Push Square's WAYPers a brilliant weekend, mate!
I've been hooked on AI Limit since it came out. So far it's some of the most fun I've had with a Souls-like in quite a while. The controls feel great, it strikes a good balance between punishing and rewarding, and the whole thing feels very finely tuned. It might not be as polished as some of the biggest games in the genre, but it's pretty damn impressive from a first time developer.
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. At last I can game again, and on the agenda this weekend is Kingdom Hearts 3. I may start Atelier Yumia as well. Have an enjoyable weekend of gaming and other things. EB
I bought Vasara Collection from PSN Spring Sale and i had a blast with it. Definitely some of the best shmups i ever played. Here's the trailer from Playstation channel if anyone interested to check out.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kal5jXHfvu0&pp=ygURdmFzYXJhIGNvbGxlY3Rpb27SBwkJYgAGCjn09Vw%3D
I also played Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves second beta. Sadly Ronaldo isn't playable lol but training mode is available and i got better & faster matchmaking compare to the 1st beta. I played ranked match from Rookie-5 and right now i'm at C-1 with my boy Rock Howard. I really like CotW gameplay and i'm considering on buying the game, but maybe not on day 1.
Have a nice weekend everyone 🍻
@ErrantRob It definitely pushed me to my limits, but it’s all about learning patterns, which is easier said than done. I’m currently where you are at, I believe, but I’m not at the boss yet — just traversing my way to him. Good luck on your fight!
Ac Shadows and Black Ops 6 on PS5. Shadows is excellent I'm about 30 hours in and barely scratched the surface trying to fully explore the map and just taking in the views the game looks incredible.
Just Xenoblade Chronicles X, most likely.
I’m finally caught up on life stuff so it’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows all weekend, baybay! The race is on to finish it before my daughter is born in May. I also found a decently priced copy of RE2 for the GameCube so I may head back to Raccoon City for a bit. Happy weekend, everyone!
I need to crack on with the Italian Job in 'The Inbetweeners: Anno Domini 1403'

Also known as Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 which is actually quite brutal

...in the moments that it isn't just a medieval mad lads day out 😂
On Pro Assassin's Creed Shadows it's no Tsushima but still decent. On Game Pass Im hooked on Atomfall great AA game
Just finished
Desperados 3 plat great game sad the studio who made it no longer exists 😞
Last weekend before I'm away in Japan so not sure what to move onto it has to be a short game as I want to move onto metaphor after my holiday.
@KingPev it's been great man. Love the xenoblade games a lot. I wish this had come out sooner lol
@MonkeyDLuffy19 that closure hurt. Shadow Gambit is brilliant.
Well assassin's creed shadows is getting on my nerves, I'm finding it extremely confusing , don't know which are story quests and which are side quests , story seems non excistent, I just don't know whats going on and the characters are crap , so back to kcd2 for me.
@Kraven good luck to you as well! This more than any other souls game definitely has me memorizing patterns before success.
Still playing through BANISHERS: Ghosts Of New Eden. Also playing some COD: BO6 MP. I know that game is basically becoming Fortnite at this point but it still has the best and most satisfying gunplay of all the shooters out there. At least IMHO.
Uncharted 5 on PS5Pro. Not as good as 4 but hopefully it will pick up (I’m about a third of the way through).
Atomfall, Dishonored Death of the Outsider and the Shady Part of Me on XSX.
Really looking forward to RoboCop on PS Plus next week.
Have a great weekend all.
@BecauseBecause ..some truly amazing gaming ahead there. GamePass really is amazing
@Judal27 ...yeah I have all the Remastered Xenoblade games on Switch sat in my backlog ! Pining for the day I can get around to committing the time for them and this
Outlaws is half price so I nabbed it. This chick is proper grounded with a blaster and speeder no daft acrobatics… no waving a sh*tsabre atop a daft mount waddlin around like it needed a dump you only had to look at the bar entertainment in comparison, some shït robot regurgitating a preprogrammed playlist of ambient AI that isn’t how a saloon works. And all the while Chickenwire would have been futile the kid went in like he came out; staggerin around like an excitable drunk that game was disneyfied.
Elder Scrolls Online and Dragon Age: Veilguard. Veilguard has been great so far. About 20 hours in. Still, Inquisition is the better game. Especially since it has Cassandra.
@ErrantRob I just fought the fourth boss, Volbanio, and he kicked my butt. I had to leave for work so I didn’t get to continue playing, yet I figured out his patterns and can consistently get him to 20% health remaining. I’ll probably beat him tonight!
Not cool @sammybarker for using that image. I got excited as h3ll for a minute and though Sony remastered Everything or nothing. Now I am sad
I'll continue playing Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana on ps5. It's my first jrpg that I'm really invested into for more than 1-2hrs and really enjoying the exploration, combat and learning the new things in the game.
Apart from that, some sessions with my sons in Crash Bandicoot and Astrobot during rainy weekend where I live.
Also looking forward to FA Cup matches, some NHL and NBA in between as usual over the weekend.
Happy gaming, everyone!
@lazarus11 I thought it was just me. Found it very unfocused. Couldn't get into it and found it frustrating that have to play so much to get the character switching aspect, especially as it's so heavily advertised as a big part of the game.
I returned it to CEX for a full refund.
@SystemAddict I couldn't make sense of that 😂🙈
@amatmulisha I don't know what you meant by a remake of curse of monkey island, it's just the first 2 games that got remakes of sorts. My favourite is a tie between the first 3 to be honest, I love them all ha
I've killed a lot of innocent people so far on hitman vr, some I regret but most were asking for it
Assassins’s Creed Shadows. Gonna be here for a while.
@Marquez thats exactly my "problem" too haha. I have 30mins or so in Shadows because when I start the console MH Wilds catches the X button ^^
Played the demo for Tainted Grail a few times. Looking forward to it's full release. As this has piqued my interst again in knights of the round table and such, I also bought on sale Hand of Merlin. A bit tough to begin with, but getting stronger in this roguelike.
@rusty82 ended up starting forbidden west new game plus but think I’m going to knock it on the head and start forspoken next week
@rusty82 I've played video games for decades and I thought ,am I just being stupid, why is it not clicking, ive loved every single AC game , black flag and valhalla are great, why is this not great, so many question marks everywhere , the eagle points do nothing , basically just unlocking a fast travel point, slowly pan around just shows more question marks, you talk to someone and it unlocks another board with a load of more men to kill, for what reason ?they're just some random samurai dudes again, How do I fu*kin progress the story, which one of the thousand icons do i have to go to ,I tried atomfall on gamepass first to try and break it up and was playing that for 30 min and the sound just cut off and wouldn't come back on, so went back to kcd2 , a proper game that doesn't give me a migraine.
Unicorn Overlord is huge! I'm 25 hours in and feel like I've barely scratched the surface. Burn ban was lifted today, so I just finished burning a brush pile from trimming bushes a few weeks back. I've fired the parts cannon at my mower to fix a surging issue. It's not fixed yet, but it's different (the new coils sure woke it up!). I just really didn't want to pull the carb, but that's what I'm going to have to do. I'm going to make that a tomorrow problem.
Another conundrum - my son loves Madden 25, but the rumor mill suggests that Madden 26 won't be on PS4. So I'm thinking either he gets a PS5 Slim or I get a pro and he gets my base. I don't have a nice enough TV to take advantage of a pro, so I'm wondering if that's even worth the extra $300 or so. What do y'all think?
Have a great weekend, everybody.
@lazarus11 I started Atomfall yesterday and had no technical issues luckily and it's grabbed me.
Shadows looked amazing but just felt like a jumble to me
@ORO_ERICIUS Those monsters aren't going to turn themselves into new hats on their own, are they
@Marquez not at all. Hunting Nu Udra for the tiny crown atm... 40 and counting. No hat erm crown lol
I’m replaying AC Valhalla because I have no other big games I want to play ATM. I’m stuck downstairs due to surgery protocols so I’m just either replaying games or playing games that aren’t mindblowing in graphics. I honestly really want to dive into Hard Mode of FF7 Rebirth or FFXVI but I’m saving them for my OLED. AC Valhalla is mindless fun tbh
Just fought Gore Magala in MH Wilds for the 1st time. Looking forward to TU1 next week!
Happy gaming!
Bouncing between WWE2K25 and The Show 25. Going to start AC shadows as well.
@rusty82 I shall assess my actions when the buzz has wore off
Uncharted: Lost Legacy and Split Fiction
Both lots of fun so far
Microsoft Wordament (Android) - Dailies and Adventure mode as usual.
Final Fantasy (Windows Phone) - Making decent progress so far. I'm nearing the end for sure.
Droplitz Delight (Windows Phone) - Still a fun puzzler to play in bursts.
@hugoadan Oh man I loved Stuntmaster. Great game. I put it on an arcade machine and was playing it a few months ago. I had forgotten how good it was. Also loved Rise to Honor with Jet Li.
On the last chapter of Lies of P and getting my ass handed to me. Working through Laxasia right now. What an amazing game.
Sea of Stars. Wasn’t planning on doing so, but here we are.
AC Shadows, bit boring at the start hoping it gets better characters are a tad boring too but I like the parkour flip lol and combat is also a tad basic and just spamming the buttons lol. AC Valhalla 1 AC Shadows 0. At least I got the disc to trade in, yikes.
Finally finished Avowed, 4days 6hours. Good game, but the ending was not a high point and extremely wordy. A really good 8/10 anyway!
I'm likely to start Atomfall today, but I also have Star Ocean the Second Story R to play and I'm tempted to start this too.
Whatever you are playing, I hope you have fun!
If I find any time today I'll play Final Fantasy 7 Remake and maybe try Breakout Beyond. I'm thinking of subbing to Ubisoft+ for Assassin's Creed Shadows and then either getting Monster Hunter Wilds or Xenoblade Chronicles X. Or I might not do any of that as who has the time to play all these games haha
@BecauseBecause my bad mate. It’s not the curse of the monkey island but it’s a Return To Monkey Island. And it’s not a remake lol. Sorry.
Giving Karma The Dark World a try and also continuing with my 75+ hour Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 play through.
I wore myself out on Veilguard. If you take it slow the first time, it isn't that replay worthy.
I wanted to delve into my PS Plus essential library and found Bioshock Infinite. It is very much a mid fps on (literal) rails, but it has a lot of Americana charm and an interesting little relationship between you (two arms and a gun-type of person) and Elizabeth you are meant to find and extract from a floating city.
The campaign should be short (which tbf is a strength for this type of mid fps) and sweet.
If you look up reviews from back in the day, you'd think Infinite is the best game ever made.
Final Fantasy 16
Well here we go with another crazy WAYP. The week was some awesome games all around. Mostly Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi, Monster Hunter, Pirate Yakuza, WWE2K25, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and Super Mario Party Jamboree. Yeah I finally beat Jamboree and while I wasn’t able to do it 100% doing such a thing was honestly gonna just be more trouble then it was worth. There are like legit 2 bad mini games in a collection of like 100 but hey now I’m done with it and can move on. Now it’s just like the Mario RPGs of last year and Luigi’s Mansion that I gotta catch up on. Started Atelier Yumia too and I dunno I feel pretty confident I can finally beat an Atelier game because man was that first session so much fun. The characters, the story, the world all of it was absolutely beautiful. Also started WWE2K25 and Assassins Creed Shadows and both are absolutely excellent for different reasons. WWE is absolutely fantastic with its Bloodline Showcase mode and the game controls so smoothly now. Assassins Creed on the other hand was genuinely riveting with its story hook and I can’t wait to dig into it more and more. Most of the weekend was spent with Donkey Kong and Mario and Luigi Brothership and the Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Beta. That last one I gotta shoutout because after the last beta I was honestly thinking of giving up on that game but this beta not only changed me around on that but really made me go wow I love fighting games. Rest of the weekend I’m thinking is gonna be some Monster Hunter Wilds. Monster Hunter is still fun as always and I wanna do more and more of the story. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Trails Through Daybreak, Mario and Luigi Brothership, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, Tales of Graces F Remastered, Split Fiction, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Monster Hunter Wilds, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Disgaea 7 and Pirate Yakuza. Still wanna wanna try to start Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition and of course be hype for the Switch 2 Direct with it. Speaking of Directs the one from this week was absolutely amazing I loved it my stand out reveals from it being No Sleep For Kaname Date and the Raidou Remaster. The wrestling thing this week being WrestleMania 41. Yeah I’m just gonna drop talking about the Road to WrestleMania and just say that between the two Main Events of WrestleMania 41 I gotta admit that I think they can at least deliver on that front. Anime of the week gotta go to Solo Leveling, 100 Girlfriends and Shangri La Frontier. Also gotta work in some movies like A Complete Unknown and Anora. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Punching Up, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel Podcast and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be awesome to each other. Let’s get hype for this Switch 2 Direct and let’s hope we can all get one. Have a totally safe and awesome weekend and of course Happy Gaming.
@get2sammyb - I am enjoying it but good grief, the collectibles put a few 90's RARE games to shame! Collectathon aside its a banger.
