What are the best games on PS5 Pro? Last week, we asked Push Square readers to vote on a list of PS5 Pro Enhanced titles, in a bid to identify the most impressive upgrades on Sony's new console.
A total of 1,698 votes were cast, and the results are in.
Below, we've compiled the top ten most popular picks — and honestly, it's difficult to argue against the winners. There are some truly gorgeous games on display here.
According to you, these are the best games to play on PS5 Pro right now...
10. Demon's Souls - 56 votes (3%)
9. God of War Ragnarok - 57 votes (3%)
8. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - 58 votes (3%)
7. The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered - 90 votes (5%)
6. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered - 109 votes (6%)
5. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - 116 votes (7%)
4. Stellar Blade - 150 votes (9%)
3. Horizon Forbidden West - 158 votes (9%)

Guerrilla Games' open world sequel already looks great on the base PS5, but the game's performance mode, which runs at a smooth 60 frames-per-second, comes with a noticeable hit to image quality.
However, on PS5 Pro, Horizon Forbidden West is taken to another level. A considerable resolution boost has Aloy's sophomore adventure looking ridiculously crisp — and the mad part is that it isn't down to the Pro's PSSR.
Instead, Guerrilla has implemented its own upscaling tech, specifically designed for the Decima Engine — and it works an absolute treat. Console games simply don't look much better than this.
2. Gran Turismo 7 - 159 votes (9%)

Gran Turismo 7's photorealistic visuals make for a serious PS5 Pro showpiece. The big selling point here is the implementation of ray tracing across all modes of play, with enhanced lightning and reflections adding some incredible depth to the image.
This is also one of the few examples where you can actually toggle PSSR to suit your needs. But even then, Sony's AI-driven upscaler is very well implemented, offering up image quality that comes within touching distance of native 4K. Phwoar.
1. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - 225 votes (13%)

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth isn't a surprising winner, but it is an interesting one. That's because unlike most of the other games on this list, it's poorly optimised on the base PS5 — and the Pro basically improves the experience to a huge degree.
On Sony's new system, you get the option of playing at 60fps, but PSSR takes care of the title's shockingly blurred resolution. The result is a buttery smooth action RPG that boasts some stunning visuals.
Rebirth is quite possibly the most improved game on PS5 Pro, and it ended up running away with your votes.
So, do you agree with this community-voted list? Are there any other PS5 games that you think deserve a spot in the top ten? Enable PSSR in the comments section below.

I would swap GT with Stellar Blade, because the Pro up date is absolutely outstanding. Part from that it's a very good list, good job voters 👍

I have all but Gran Taurismo and Stellar Blade. I’d love to see Forbidden West on my Pro but I platinum’d it before the Pro released and I played it on the PS+ Premium subscription, which no longer has the game available.
As I said on another post i've been pretty impressed with the Pro but really it's more about the general smoothness and framerate increases over any particular WOW moment on graphics. It's hard to make it stumble outside the VRR window on any game i've tested which just makes for a much smoother experience than base PS5.
I still think it's an entirely unnecessary upgrade for most people, but for enthusiasts it's a nice addition.
As I said on the voting page, the only reason FFVII is at the top of because it looks so bad on the base PS5. In terms of PS5 Pro games it's nowhere near the best implementation or best looking
GT7 is the star of the show for me, including its PSVR2 improvements and Horizon Forbidden West is probably the best looking console game, with the Pro making it look like a high end PC game
@carlos82 yes thr PRO version of GT7 VR is now literally insane lol. Crisp af with no blur at all. It’s amazing
I wonder if the high vote count for FF7Rebirth is an indication that there are Pro owners who dont have (full) 120hz TVs?
The most improved games ive played all have uncapped 120hz modes.
Im shocked that RE4 Remake isnt in the top 10 given it can now run at framerates around 100fps - a massive improvement over the base game, but one that can only be seen using 120hz - this upgrade has not been reported on much either.
Hogwarts Legacy is a great improvement but best enjoyed imo in the Performance mode with uncapped fps (120hz again), a lot of the reporting on this patch tends to focus on the 30fps RT mode, and largely not cover any other mode.
However, Demon Souls is number 10 - and this is one of the much more modest upgrades given how good it looks on base console, and it has no uncap option on Pro (still nice, but there are a LOT bigger improvements not in the Top 10).
@Rich33 You are right. Most people don’t have 120hz TVs.
About 1% of the general public have them and less than 10% of gamers.
Most people are happy with 4K 60fps.
By the sounds of things, even 60fps is pushing it for most who are happy with 30fps. Sadly.
I’d personally just like to see 4K 60fps normalised as that’s the most popular tv settings and developers are failing to hit that over and over.
I'd like to mention The Crew Motorfest as another game that looks really good on the Pro - picked it up recently and was wowed by the implementation. On a big OLED it looks simply stunning.
Horizon FW is straight up the best looking console game ever thanks to the Pro, it looks jaw jaw dropping on it.
@carlos82 Yeah Rebirth is a big improvement on Pro but let's face it all it does is make the game look like how it should look on base PS5.
@Kienda
Quite agree that just getting locked 60fps is a miracle these days from SOME developers, whereas others find it no issue to hit and exceed it.
But, at least if they put an uncap fps toggle with 120hz VRR option (which is no massive additional work i believe), those that have the Pro may be able to benefit, depending on the overhead of course - and sometimes its a very nice bonus!
To be fair, one of the reasons i bought Pro, was to try and mitigate bad sub 60fps framerates.
@HappyGamerGirl yes agreed crew does look superb.
Have to mention warhammer also after booting that up tonight which looks rather lovely too!
Ff7 rebirth I saw on my friends pro on his LG 4k TV it's last year's model so it's incredible and the game looks great
@Kienda where's that poll from? I'd be surprised if less than 1% have an LG OLED, its very popular in the PS5 market. Nevermind all the other options available now. Most mid range TVs automatically have it now and even cheap ones do. I mean you can get 120hz monitors (which I use) and 120hz TVs for £300 or so now.
@Andy22385 there is information out there. I was being generous with the 10% of gamers, it’s likely around 3% or less.
The stats for 120hz monitors is higher.
There is a reason that most TV Chanel’s output HD and not 4K.
Why?
50% of Americans still don’t have a 4K TV. 60% of UK still uses HD (1080p) and HD Ready (720p) TV.
90+% of 4K TVs are 60hz. And even today the majority of TVs sold are not 120hz.
People live in bubbles thinking everyone is buying new tech and upgrading TVs all the time. Yet even the richest countries in the world have less than half have 4K TVs when they’ve been out for a decade.
Just think what the rest of the world is like where budgets are tighter.
No Man's Sky runs good too.
I still question whether the PS5 was worth purchasing. It turned 4 this year, and it took Silent Hill 2 and Stellar Blade to finally do away with my buyers remorse. 75% of my PS5 library also came out on the PS4 with even more PS4 games continuing to release. The Pro is fine for ultra enthusiasts, but for most people, it just doesn't make sense, especially when the PS4 continues to be good enough for so many.
@Kienda small sample size but there's a poll in a PS5 group I'm in and 89% have a 120hz TV or monitor. Obviously that'll be a skewed a bit but it certainly doesn't go from 89% to 3% of gamers when this is a gamer group. Agreed on the general public won't care so the vast majority still aren't even bothered by 4K nevermind 120hz. But gamers do. Among my gamer friends nearly half have a 120hz screen
@Andy22385 it really is skewed though. Even the average Push Square user is in the upper end of the average gamer.
Having said that, you are correct that more gamers have 120hz screens.
Before I was simply talking about 4K TVs not monitors. There are far more gamers with 120hz monitors especially now that the average STEAM user has a PC almost on par with a PS5.
Having said that. Most PC gamers who are aiming for 120fps are doing it at 1080p and 1440p not 4K.
That’s the big difference.
Personally, I don’t really know why consoles can’t have HD/2K modes at 60/120fps and then 4K modes at 30/60fps.
It isn’t that hard and they do it for PC anyway.
@Kienda you're right there. I PC game too and native 4K is pointless. I game in 1440, my screen is actually 1440 for console and PC.
Who voted for GT7? It looks absolutely hideous. I turned off pssr and switched back to performance mode. Ray tracing is absolutely broken on this game. Stellar Blade on the other hand looks astonishing!
