A lot has changed in Marvel’s Avengers since last September when it launched. And while it may not have excelled completely at being a successful live-service platform, through continued support by way of new Hero Events and story expansions, Square Enix has done all it can to do Earth’s Mightiest Heroes justice. It’s set to get another injection of life once Spider-Man swings on in this 30th November.
This got us thinking: is it too little too late, or is there still time to entice players back with the arrival of Spider-Man? The recent cinematic trailer gave us a small hint of how he’ll act and play, which was enough to entice video editor Aaron to dive back into it. Whether the legendary wall-crawler will convince him to stick around is the topic of today’s video. The results may surprise you.

‘Hmm, is that it? Can you think of someting more to say?’
@colonelkilgore I can.
No.
@nessisonett I tried no… and that is what Push Square asked me 🤣
On playstation maybe but not anywhere else.........
😜
It will probably help sales a bit, but definitely not enough.
the game is broke to much trying to sell you nonsense. i deleted it and that was on gamepass. i love the spider-man games on PlayStation.
They should just cut their losses
@nessisonett Beat me to it!
Someone should set an expectation, this isn't going to be like the open world games.
Is spiderman enough to save the avengers game ? Well it cant hurt to have spidey in the game but the game has been dragged through the mire too much for anything to save it now..whilst the game wasnt amazing it certainly was not crap...it just didnt seem to be able to find its own identity as it is a fairly schizophrenic game but the sheer hate from reviewers and gamers has pretty much sealed the lid on its coffin i'm afraid..shame really..
@Northern_munkey my thoughts exactly.
They can't save what is already dead and buried.
