@Mega-Gazz https has been available on the sites for a while, but not enforced. Due to the browser changes I've made this required now for login/sign up. So those warnings should be a thing of the past

@antdickens Still think it would be great to have a quick button at the top to jump straight to the Timeline - perhaps between the news and reviews or reviews and features? Maybe even between the search and our profile/notifications button...

@BAMozzy I hear you, but we've already got a button on the homepage that links to it - might just want to put it in your bookmarks bar for safe keeping

@antdickens I already have it bookmarked but I still find it annoying that I have to go through multiple pages on the website to get to it. From the forums for example, its a button click to go back to the top of the page, back to home and then to the timeline instead of having a quick and easy button at the top. My bookmark is used to get to the site - its not bookmarked as the home page - just the Timeline but it would still be great to have this available easily regardless of which area of the site I am in - just like accessing the news, reviews, forums etc.

It certainly appears there is room for an extra button on a standard webpage. I don't know if it would affect mobile use though so I can understand if that's an issue but I do think its something that could enhance the operation rather than have to keep going into my bookmark folder.

Would it be possible to have notifications for likes?

@antdickens Any possibility of allowing PSN Profile images in our signature to show our trophy progress and recent trophies? That would be an AWESOME feature! Maybe you should make a poll asking users if they'd like such a feature as I think it'd be a pretty popular addition to the website!

I was replying to a topic in the Forums and couldn't find a way to hide spoilers as an option. Am I missing something?

@antdickens I've found an issue on the Staff pages. When I am looking at my reviews page and i scroll to the bottom and click the button to go to the next page of reviews for some reason it takes me back to the latest tab

@antdickens Any chance that you might add active messaging in the forums in the future. By that I mean where everyone's messages automatically appear without having to refresh the page, just like in the news articles. Would it also be possible to maybe increase the messages in each page on the forum to 30? 20 messages per page is rather small, especially since the site isn't exactly heavyweight or anything so it shouldn't pose many technical issues even on outdated devices.

What would PushSquare think about creating a Discord chat/server for staff and fellow members to hang out and chat while gaming and such?

It's alot more versatile than Skype and everyone I know seems to love Discord and uses it alot.

@ToddlerNaruto Yeah, heard this suggestion a couple of times now. I think Nintendo Life is currently experimenting with it, so I'll get feedback on how that's going ASAP.

I do realize the concerns with using IMs like Discord, specifically your reasons why Private Messages are disabled on the forums/site.

However Discord has the feature to make PMs friends only (not a default option), eliminating those concerns in my opinion.

Not to mention it has ALOT more moderation power and it's just overall easier to use in comparison to Skype.

@get2sammyb @ToddlerNaruto Couldn't we just use PS4's party option to chat while we game? That's what my friends and I do when we game.

I can see why a discord type thing would be an idea for NL since Nintendo doesn't have voice feature within their consoles, but I feel for Pushsquare it would just be a waste since as I said we can do that now over PSN. Plus if we had one that's one more thing we would be responseable for and someone would have to mod.

I've got to be honest with you, I don't fully know what Discord is. I need to look into it all more.

@Tasuki It's like Windows Live Messenger or Whatsapp. You don't really need to moderate Discord (I think). NintendoLife's Discord doesn't have moderators as far as I'm aware.
