@Number09 I know your only joking, but down votes are only for comments in articles and not forum posts!

@kyleforrester87 I’ve had this issue multiple times. I just had to take someone off the list and I don’t know how they got on there. I only checked because this reminded me to. I’m positive there’s no warning when this happens. On mobile you don’t see the icons unless you touch the post so I guess where to touch. I haven’t hit confirm on ignored though.

@Jaz007 I suppose it could depend on what web browser your are using as some by default block pop up messages, which it could think the ignore notification is.

I see the buttons in forum posts on mobile, but not in article comments.

@antdickens so yes, I just tried hitting the white space where “ignore” would be on my mobile while scrolling through an article and it added a member to my ignore list without me having to click ok on any pop up menu. The weird thing is I did the same thing to 7-8 members and it only added one.

But I’m guessing that’s what happened, it was adding people as I scrolled through the comments section. No idea why it didn’t bring up the are you sure menu.

@antdickens oook scrap that I know what’s happening now. On iPhone if you hold down a link for a split second it’ll open a new browser window. So if you’re scrolling through comments but just press where “ignore” is, even if you can’t see it, it will open a new browser window if you hold it for a second which is easily done if something catches your eye as you’re scrolling. This opens a new window which is confirming that person has been blocked. But what I normally do because the feature is so sensitive on iPhone is just close that new window immediately without reading it. I’m always opening new windows by mistake, sometimes just when holding my phone while talking to someone in real life. But basically it removes the requirement to hit yes on the are you sure pop up, and let’s you click it even when the word isn’t visible.

Anywhoo, mystery solved 😂

@Number09 No worries, be careful going down that rabbit hole, you don't know where you'll end up!

@kyleforrester87 I don’t recall seeing a window pop-up, but if it can do that without showing it even then that could be it! I’m using safari on an iPhone X. I’m glad to see some proof of it.
It may also be worth noting I use the desktop version of the site as I don’t like the mobile.

So there's that idiot that has been bugging me for a while. Every single place I comment he does too, he posts stupid a** jokes and is generally unhelpful.
Didn't notice a ignore button, where is it? @lolwhatno be ready to disappear of my sight!

Well that’s the first time I’ve clicked ignore ever! 🤣
