110% on. 7-12 on Friday uk time, nice one Kyle. I'm gonna jump on tomorrow for a practice few strikes. Well in for setting this up. I will be munching on petit panis and bananas to keep my energy up.

Yeah I'm gunna have to smash a veg smoothie and a few red bulls once I get in but it'll be alright. I've been playing again for the past week, quite enjoying it, as long as you pick something to work toward the grind is pretty fun and even better with Spotify. No doubt i'll put it away for a while again in a few weeks but if they keep the content coming I'll keep coming back!

Trying to push through to level 31 in time for Friday, need 3 more Ascendant shards, if anyone wants to do a daily tomorrow/Thursday that'd be cool

I'm level 28 is that an issue? I thought entree level was 28.

Ruh-roh! I'm level 30, in fact I have two level 30s and a 28 because seriously can't be arsed to grind for for levels 31 and 32.

Well this is a spanner in the works. To be honest I thought we'd be okay from level 30. I didn't actually consider that others were below 30.

I will be able to get to 31 by tomorrow easily enough now grinding a few public events but are we screwed for Friday? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.................................

A quick google search tells me that you can get in with level 27, but people say that anyone below level 30 will struggle to do damage. I don't see many saying that you have to be level 31 or 32. If we come up short, it'll still be worth the parts we can do, right? I still want to give it a try.

I will spam public events tonight for 3 hours. I have legendary and exotic stuff, almost fully levelled but I need 7 of something for my equipment. I read you can get them from pub events.

i'll just tell you guys now, if you whole fireteam isn't at least lvl 30 don't even bother you'd make better progress banging your head against a wall.

Is that really effective? I mostly did story missions and strikes to get to level thirty. You don't need the ascendant shards for that, and anyway, is it not more effective to do daily story missions on hard to get the ascendant shards?

@TOMBOY25 Thanks for the advice. Last time we played you mentioned something about the Warlock being useful for Crota's End. I've got level 30 Warlock and Titan. Is it better to go with the Warlock?

I've been doing public events this week and it's been really effective in maxing out my weapons and almost my armour. Got 3 ascendant energy and 2 shards in a couple of hours last night. Also gaining vanguard marks way faster than doing strikes. Mcnoisy, if you do a ton of them you might be able to get to 30 but I think you'd be cutting it fine now.

If you pick up bounties you can usually get them done in conjunction, especially the "complete 6 missions in the..." ones. Just make sure you're in the area before any of the timers on the website get to 0 and within 5 minutes the event will start. I was getting a legendary material pretty much every second event. Maybe I was lucky! Try it out

yeah a warlock with self res can be a lifesaver.

I am way off from being able to join in yet as my highest character isn't yet level 20 on PS4. Having beaten Crota on the XB1 version many times though, you will need to be level 31 at least to tackle the easy mode as the enemies start at 31 and rise to 32. At 31 you will be doing around a third less damage to the level 32's and at 30 around half the damage. Not only do you do a lot less damage you get killed very easily too. Whilst I don't think its quite as 'team orientated' as VoG in general, its still needs co-ordination and people to do certain roles in some areas.

We would need at least a couple of lvl 32, I'm just under lvl 32, we also need at least one very decent warlock, I'm a hunter only and I'll admit, they're generally crap for raids.

A Warlock is handy for this raid - particularly the Bridge section if you want to cheese it. However a Hunter is good for this raid too. Bladedancer works very well - particularly in the Abyss and as a swordbearer - blink-strike makes it a lot easier. The invisible gauntlets help a lot in the Abyss. I also found a Defender Titan can be useful too - especially if they have Helm of St 14

You ought to be able to drop crota on easy with a good hunter and a number of 30's and one or two 32's.
A pal and i 2 manned it to ir-yut last night pretty easily so with a full compliment it should be achievable.
