Hi Pushsquare party people, looking for 3 more people for a driveclub team. Already have 3 members and looking to smash the 2 official push square teams into oblivion.

I think we already have a pushsquare club, I believe I'm running it actually but I've never actually raced haha. @Wesker is in the group, I think he's been doing all the work so far.

There was an older thread but no one posted in it so I guess this one will be the official recruitment thread now.

I think I'm already in a club but only because I joined a random for the trophy. Drop me an invite and I'll happily switch sides, although I rarely play, and happen to be absolutely terrible at the game (but that doesn't stop me crashing around a few tracks every now and then for the scenery!)

It's the kind of game I wish I had ready to go on the hard drive instead of on disc as it'd probably get more play time if I could just randomly launch it when bored without having to get up and walk allllll the way over to the shelf.

Yeah I take your point massively on that, this is definitely something that I tend to throw on for a couple of races when I'm stuck flicking through my xmb (or home screen or whatever it's called now) trying to decide what to play. Apart from in the week I got it, I don't think I've ever actually turned the console on specifically with the intent to play it. It just sort of happens. Glad I waited to pick it up, as it meant I was able to get the digital version once the price took a dive. If I had it on disc, it probably wouldn't get all that much of a look in, and that would be a real shame!

Oh yeah! As I said I play it fairly infrequently so I forget these things! Not sure which time you're meaning, as "quality time" and me don't normally go together in DC haha, but I'll definitely have to jump back in soon to see if I can beat some of yours

The one thing I really struggled to get the hang of in this was drifting for some reason. The only racing games I ever really played significantly before were Burnout and NFS, and this has a whole different feel to it. But I reckon if I can nail drifting I could probably improve a fair bit!

Drifting is rubbish, I can get 2 stars usually through luck not skill. Yeah we are almost level 7. Sent a photo of the new great Britain colour scheme.... I'm that sad.

Downloaded the PS Plus version and going to give it a test drive to night so, if I end up liking it I will get the full version and will let you guys know.

Just bought the Sakura Pack - its £1.79 for the tracks and new cars, gonna spot buy the dlc and learn the tracks rather than the season pass as that's good value and I can finish one then buy another.

@get2sammyb beaten some of your times already - and tried those online drift challenges, you kind of break, circle, into the corner severely, gas and throw the car back out. Good stuff.

join up pal, got 1 space left. We are club level 9. There's a hidden trophy for breaking club level 20, so gonna hit this game pretty hard. There's also a trophy for driving 1000 miles in a club You just play single player so your style points or kudos go into the teams pot you don't have to race online. Its a good system.

I'm up for joining but I only play infrequently and suck, so if the space is better to be taken by someone else then I'm happy with that.

Got a surprise earlier loads of exp in the bank thanks everyone. We are literally in touching distance of level 10 - that will probably unlock more cars. Also got our first accolade sticker today. Good stuff.

Well I will be jumping on in a few had to run some laps in Mario Kart 8 to feel the button layout. Going to try that in Driveclub and see how I do.

I just dled the PS + edition, I'll give it a shot later tonight, if it's good ill place my name in the pool.
