Topic: PS3 System Update Stuck 99%

Hello everyone I just got a PS3 and it was working fine until I choose to update it right now its stuck on system update 99% and its not completing I try to unplug the system and turn it back on it takes me right back to the system update I can't exit the screen or play any games I don't know what to do I just got this today and I didn't know that it would be stuck I hold the ps button down on the console and it doesn't even allow me to go into safe mode. Once its turned on it basically goes right to the system software and now I can't play any games or do anything.

No its not hacked or modded its just a regular ps3

ive found it does this when theres an undetected hardare fault and now the console is bricked cant be used anymore
